Cakes desserts and cookies. Lots of delicious pistacchio choices. I get them every time I'm in town.

I've enjoyed coming here to treat myself in the mornings with coffee and a dessert, everything has been lovely! The lady who took my order was friendly, and I love getting to read and people watch the passersby. I hope to go again and try their breakfast and lunch options!

Before this one experience, I'd only ever done takeout for some pastries (baklava varieties) and bureks -- those experiences were pleasant. When I had a few extra days off from work, I decided to do a staycation in the area, and spent an afternoon sitting and enjoying their other offerings. We had a variety of desserts which were all pretty incredible -- obviously the baklava was the highlight. We also got the caramel sandwich cookie, the pistachio round cakepop looking thing, a regular large triangular baklava as well as a square pistachio pastry, a lintzer tart, turkish tea, and a coffee. The reason I'm giving a 4 and not a 5 is because on this particular day, the older woman of three seemed to have an unexplained vendetta against my friend and I. She was really terse and sour-faced, which wouldn't have mattered until we asked for a knife to cut the baked goods, but even before we could ask, she cut us off and said "no" while her coworkers just looked at her with surprise and confusion...

This is the first time I leave my review. I ordered a "Chocolate Cake" for an important event. Unfortunately, I couldn't drive up to the store to see the entire assortment of cakes, so l discussed my order with the store salesperson (it was supposed to be a "chocolate cake with chocolate filling" and they told me that everything would be done right and my order would be delivered. My order was delivered as they said, but I was very surprised to see pistachio crumble on the cake. So I called them again to find out if it was a chocolate cake that I ordered? They replied "of course, this is your order." As a result, when I cut the cake, I was very upset because first: I really don't like pistachios, and second: the cake was not fresh and the sponge of the cake was very dry. And lastly, don't lie to your clients. I won't come again.

I always stopp by this location as it is my closest bakery and I love it here. Whenever I have a nack for sweets I always get one of their cake/pie slices or one baklava piece to crave my sweet tooth. Those this time i got 2. They were do fresh as it seems to have some out earlier today and once tasting it it was crispy flavor and so sweet with the syrup underneath. They are always open and constantly making sure their products are always fresh. They also have very nice staff.

The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .
