I did not even meet the hair stylist before I was told by the receptionist that he no longer wanted to cut my hair. I tried to reason with them and ask them if I could speak with Ali but they said no, and another stylist came up to me and was extremely rude telling me to leave and that they would not cut my hair. The vibe of the store looked cool and I'm sure I would have enjoyed getting a haircut at this location, but I was treated disrespectfully in a way that no customer should experience.

Natalie was so sweet and friendly and more importantly did a great job cutting my hair! 2 months ago I got a pixie cut for the first time and didn't like how it turned out, but Natalie was able to see where the problems were and gave me a much nicer cut that fit my face and hair type! The treatment was completely ineffective and the appointment felt rushed, unlike past visits where she was more thorough. When I followed up, Lynsey offered to redo the service and booked me for another appointment. She mentioned that working around my extensions might have affected the result -- which, honestly, any experienced stylist should be able to handle. Then, two months after the original service, she let me know she'd only be redoing half my hair -- unless I wanted to pay full price again. It felt like a bait and switch: unprofessional, disappointing, and deeply frustrating. Her response was a non-apology followed by an oddly cheerful sendoff. I've never had a stylist throw away a long-standing relationship over something like this -- especially when it stemmed from their own mistake. I am tying to relax so I really do not feel the need to have kids yelling and running around me. I also like when I walk in the staff greets me by name. As soon I sit in the waiting area someone is ready to start my hair. I have done short hair cuts which seems to be their speciality and glue in and sewed weaves. The hair products are great and the way they weave it doesn't pull out my hair. My hair always looks good when I leave. Nicole, the owner, is very detailed and a pro when it comes to cutting hair. The gospel music is very relaxing and I love how they don't gossip and bad talk customers as soon as they turn their backs. The only thing is my hair is very thin so I wish Nicole and her staff catered more to consulting customers on how to improve their hair. I believe they are more concerned about finishing your hair at a set time to move on to the next person so time to talk and advise clients doesn't fit into the schedule. And if you decide you want to do another style instead of what you scheduled you are sure to make Nicole upset and she doesn't hesitate to say no. This is the approach that causes the wait to be short when you come in but I wish she was more approachable or flexible in this aspect. For now to avoid being barked at I just let her do her thing, my hair still looks good anyway. I wish they could also add a comment box so people can rate or write comments about how the new hairdressers in training do so that way they can learn from client's feed back. Because God knows how much I want to yell out stop pouring all the water in my ear.
