Great Sunday experience! Searched around online a bit to find some good boneless wings in the area and stumbled across Kings Wings. Not knowing how busy they'd be on a Sunday afternoon, we called first. The business owner was so friendly and kind! He personally called over to the truck to confirm if they still had specific items we wanted to order and called us back right away. They were all out of boneless wings, so they basically created some for us out of chicken tenders. He even suggested trying their new shoestring fries and buffalo chicken fries and asked for our honest feedback. We ordered the mild buffalo boneless chicken and the lemon pepper boneless chicken, along with buffalo chicken fries. Finding the truck was super easy on Ventura Blvd in the Tarzana area. The guy running the truck was also very friendly and hooked us up with a good amount of sauces. The boneless buffalo chicken was very tasty. I do think it could have been drizzled/tossed with just a little more sauce though. The lemon pepper boneless chicken was awesome, so much flavor! Really liked it. The fries were good, but nothing special... BUT I will say that they probably would have been better if we ate them right away versus after 15 minutes/driving them home. Overall, I really liked Kings Wings and would definitely get food from here again. And they for sure get extra love for the super friendly customer service-- you just don't find that very often anymore. read more

Not to be dramatic but stop what ur doing and hit this place up ASAP! Mom n pop wing truck with the sweetest employees!! My boyfriend and I both agree, best wings we have ever had. They are so meaty, no fat at all. I've had bbq, Buffalo mind, lemon pepper and my personal fave sweet n spicy. I prefer the bone in wings personally but both are crispy , meaty and absolutely delicious!!! You can split the flavors, and heads up call for a quick pick up time! Usually like 10 mins. Got the combo because I felt kinda ridiculous getting wings w/ no fries. I mean. Come on. I got lemon pepper. There was a perfect crunch to juicy ratio. Wings were way bigger than I anticipated - which I mean no complaints here! The fries were fine.. In the future I'd probs order more meat (that's what she said - do ppl still do this anymore?!) and skip the side. Great spot for a late night find. I'd def be back. read more

Brother kept saying that this spot was dope for wings. And of course, I like to be the judge of that since word of mouth is questionable for some places. So me n moms took a drive to the spot, found it across the street from trejos tacos, where big wangz used to be. Guys working the truck were hella dope! Broke everything down on how we can order since it was our first time there. Once our orders were done, we got in the car and went home. The smell was sooooo overwhelming it got both me n moms wanting to pullover n eat rite then there! We got home, got comfortable with some Netflix and got to work on the food. HOLY SHIT! IT. WAS. FIRE!!! Fries had just the right amount of seasoning, wings had a nice sweet n spicy kick to it with the mango habenaro that has a balance for both. Sweet n spicy was hella delicious! Growing up near Buffalo NY, I guess I am somewhat of a wing snob. I have been craving wings for the past couple of weeks, however the wings in my neighborhood (3rd & Fairfax) are overpriced and underwhelming. I did a quick Yelp search and was impressed with the reviews of Kings Wings. I called ahead to make sure they were open. The gentleman that answered the phone assured me that they were open and seemed upbeat and friendly The food truck itself was easy to find and was very clean. The guy that was working (I am assuming he is the owner) was again super friendly and helpful. I ordered 20 mild, 10 lemon pepper and 2 orders of fries. The price I paid was about the same as other wing places around LA. 10 to 15 minutes later I was on my way home. Driving home, all I could smell was the wings behind the drivers seat. Man, they smelled good! Once I got home, I was more than impressed with the size of the wings. They were about 25% to 30% larger than any wings I have eaten in LA. The wings were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Gotta tell ya, these wings could hold their own against any wing you can get in the Buffalo area. The fries were damn good as well. All in all, great food and great value. read more

Kings Wings is now responsible for satisfying my wing craving- it is a crime that there isn't a wing establishment in Santa Barbara or Goleta (like a Buffalo Wild Wings), but KW has come to the rescue. The wings are decently priced- I paid approximately $26 for 30 wings. Not too bad, considering they can pretty much monopolize wings in the SB area. My favorites were the sweet and spicy (kind of resembles the Asian Zing from BWW), the garlic parm (powered not wet), and the lemon pepper. You can never go wrong with a classic hot or buffalo flavor either! The wings are also decently sized! Sometimes I get pretty upset when I see BWW wings that are smaller than my pinky finger. Kings Wings are definitely big enough to keep a carnivore like me full and happy. I kind of wish they would let people know about their private catering events. I called in once because I was hangry for wings, and they were closed due to an event. So sad. read more

Probably the best wings I've ever had. I'm not even exaggerating haha. Way better than wing stop, better than pizza spots. I got the Habanero, Lemon Pepper, and Regular Hot wings. I also ordered them extra crispy. Literally the best. I drove from Rialto just to grab an order. But I have no complaints besides the hours not being open 24 hours haha. No joke, these wings are freaking delicious! There was a recent change in ownership, but it's still a family-run business that continues to crank out such good food. (And when I say family-run, I mean mom takes your order, dad cooks the wings and their two teenage sons make sure your order is prepped perfectly for you!) My husband and I tried the mild buffalo, garlic parmesan and lemon pepper wings along with the salt and vinegar fries. Everything was SO CRISPY, SO CRUNCHY AND OH-SO SATISFYING! I loved the flavoring of the buffalo sauce, but the dry-rub on the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper wings were top notch as well. If you're hungry and this truck is nearby, do yourself a favor and check them out! We'll be dining with them again for sure. read more

By far some of the most superior wings I've ever encountered. The wing size is usually pretty big and the chicken always arrives to my place piping hot and well-seasoned. My favorites are lemon pepper, buffalo mild and hot, garlic Parmesan and so on. I tried the sweet and hot and it was a little too sweet for me, but great for those who like sweet and savory together. Lemon pepper is a dry rub but they aren't shy with their seasoning. The buffalos are a sauce but they put plenty on. The crinkles fries are also bomb. I love dipping them in the leftover sauce. Only thing I would suggest changing is getting a better ranch like an herbed ranch. But seriously aside from that, great wings. Worth the price. Go to the actual truck and you get a deal with a drink and wings and fries. Met the owner once before he's really cool too. read more

No longer will I have to beg one of my roommates to drive all the way down to Oxnard for Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings -- there is a real, dedicated wings-on-wheels establishment in Santa Barbara! It sounded too good to be true: a wings place open until 9, that offered fries, celery, carrots, ranch, hot sauce, blue cheese...it sounded like it had everything, basically. In fact, it sounded like it went above and beyond, since they also offered chicken strips and a $4.99 (!) chicken curry burrito. Emily L. and I may have been skeptical when we crept up on the corner of Pueblo and De La Vina, but Kings Wings was surprising good enough to hold court. A small line had formed when we approached; the service was friendly enough to entertain, but definitely slow. Judging from the sounds of the ventilation and passing traffic, it was hard to hear, and it reflected in the way they asked us to repeat ourselves. The ordering screen is a bit of a nuisance since they have to flip it every time you give them cash, need to sign a receipt, or pick up your order. Chicken wings stole the show, though; once we got home and opened up our goodies, we came to realize that they didn't include our promised celery and carrot sticks (no matter, since we're basically carnivores) and I even got an extra wing in my order of six! Opt for 10 wings instead, as they allow you to have multiple types of wings in any order of 10 or more wings if you ask. They offer a selection of boneless, bone-in, and mix & match if you're into that. Based off of what we tried, the lemon pepper, sweet and spice, and mango habanero were all delicious. Skip the fries: they're bland and over-fried, causing oil to pool at the bottom. The canned soda is a nice touch, but are more cool than cold. They include a dipping sauce of ranch, blue cheese, or hot sauce, and automatically include a container of something special. If you are highly susceptible to food allergies, be careful and ask them what it is -- it was included in our order but we still don't know what was in it. We identified chili oil, sesame oil, dried garlic/onion, sesame seeds, and salt. read more

At last, a place dedicated to wings in Santa Barbara! I managed to catch this food truck with Gwen W. and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their wings and diversity of their menu. Since this is a food truck with no seats or tables nearby, we grabbed our orders as soon as they were ready and headed home. We had both opted for the 6 piece combo which comes with 6 wings either boneless or bone-in, along with a dipping sauce, fries, and a drink (soda or water) for about $8. The wings were great: crispy and flavorful, I wished I had ordered more! I tried the mango habanero and it had a nice kick while still retaining the sweetness of the mango flavor. The fries, on the other hand, were disappointing. They were crinkle cut, but some were overly crispy and others overly soggy. The sodas they gave to us were canned and room temperature. I was expecting it to be cold, but not a big deal. They also serve curry here as well, and their $4.99 curry burrito looked tasty. At the end of the day, I'm glad there's a place to get wings in SB now. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors! read more

My five-star review is that typically I hate crinkle-cut fries because they're too soft, potato-y, and flavorless... King's wings cooks them to a crisp and makes them extra salty. I absolutely could stop myself from loving them. My only reason for 4 stars is because the wings were 10minutes later than estimated( which I'd have been cool with the extra wait had I been told), and because sometimes the chicken they source in is very thinly-meated. Most of their wings I can finish in two bits. But they're a good flavor and have good fries. I'd give a 4.6 if I could! read more

My fiancé and I decided to grab something to eat. We ended up walking around the neighborhood and found Kings Wings. One of our friends told us about this spot so we wanted to see what the hype was about. Super convenient since they're open late. We decided to get 50 wings! The wings were crispy and very flavorful. When they say thick they mean THICK and I'm sure there are those who love that, but it's way too thick for me. And most of the four slices were that heel of thick crust. The actual pizza and pepperoni could be eaten in two bites. That part tasted fine, it was just way too much heel for me and not enough pizza real estate. So, I'm thinking that maybe what they call the "thin" crust is normal pizza crust and not like a cracker. If they confirm that I'll be more than happy to try it again and re-review.

Want an extra sauce? Extra charge. Turnips? Extra charge. If you're going to charge premium prices and extra for every little thing, at least give customers decent portions and properly prepared food. I didn't believe it, but it's true, THE BEST WINGS IN LA ARE ON THIS TRUCK. Period. Jeff and Cary are super cool couple who run this place and heard they recently took it over. And the skin is crispy on both the drums and flats! Thank you! There is nothing worse than an undercooked wing. They know what they are doing and are officially on my rotation. Some of the best wings I have had but I really love the fries, they are so good! I recommend the Buffalo fries with added boneless wings.
