Great Sunday experience! Searched around online a bit to find some good boneless wings in the area and stumbled across Kings Wings. Not knowing how busy they'd be on a Sunday afternoon, we called first. The business owner was so friendly and kind! He personally called over to the truck to confirm if they still had specific items we wanted to order and called us back right away. They were all out of boneless wings, so they basically created some for us out of chicken tenders. He even suggested trying their new shoestring fries and buffalo chicken fries and asked for our honest feedback. We ordered the mild buffalo boneless chicken and the lemon pepper boneless chicken, along with buffalo chicken fries. Finding the truck was super easy on Ventura Blvd in the Tarzana area. The guy running the truck was also very friendly and hooked us up with a good amount of sauces. The boneless buffalo chicken was very tasty. I do think it could have been drizzled/tossed with just a little more sauce though. The lemon pepper boneless chicken was awesome, so much flavor! Really liked it. The fries were good, but nothing special... BUT I will say that they probably would have been better if we ate them right away versus after 15 minutes/driving them home. The guy that was working (I am assuming he is the owner) was again super friendly and helpful. I ordered 20 mild, 10 lemon pepper and 2 orders of fries. The price I paid was about the same as other wing places around LA. 10 to 15 minutes later I was on my way home. Driving home, all I could smell was the wings behind the drivers seat. Man, they smelled good! Once I got home, I was more than impressed with the size of the wings. They were about 25% to 30% larger than any wings I have eaten in LA. The wings were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Gotta tell ya, these wings could hold their own against any wing you can get in the Buffalo area.
