The attached sign shows the prices. Good luck figuring out what the final height will be (after cutting) or even which species you get. When you find a tree you like you yell "cutter" and someone comes up with a saw. Ours knew the species (the most expensive type if course) so I suppose you could ask them but it's a little hard before you find the tree you like. He cut and carried the tree down. They had food and drink I believe. We didn't get any. Saving room for apple donuts down the road. Took my tag to the cashier. $136 with tax and tip! That works out to basically $4 a day for each day the tree was up. I actually left it up way into the new year just to justify the price. Why 4 stars? Because I read the reviews. I knew it was going to be expensive. It's a beautiful drive. They have their stuff together. The property is beautiful. The tree, which is now leaning against the woodpile in the side yard, still looks like we just cut it down. They have great trees and run a nice operation, just be prepared to pay.

He also wanted us to sign his contract and said he wouldn't be back until it was signed. The contract is a full of requirements for us, many related to items beyond our control like where wires or roots are. Despite our worries about the contract, we signed it. At 2:30, after waiting for his return, I called him and when returning my call, he praised himself for returning my call. He returned but left again after only about an hour of "work ". He came back and was working when several members of his family came to help him. We were not informed about this. Also, the plan was that he would work both Saturday and Sunday. Instead, the family work until 9 pm. It was dark and I couldn't really see his/their work. One of his trips away from this job was to pick up cedar for covering the ground around the plants. He bought too much and it doesn't look or smell like cedar. Today, I am shoveling, pushing the wheelbarrow back and forth to places around the yard, and trying to spread the mulch. We hired him but that was a mistake. Make sure you read every word of the contract and that you ask for the last part about payment before you sign his contract.
