Ok here is / was the list of issues: 1- break pads installed incorrectly on passenger side. 2- loose piston caused by the break pads and now rubbing on the pads. 3- missing hardware / lock screw. 4- damaged / bad calipers Total repair cost was north of $2000.00 the electronic calipers being the majority of the cost. My bill from Irwin that day was $283.00. I drove to VIP right after to discuss this with them. Jeremy Gooden was very nice and understanding and assured me I would be paid for this work. He apologized again and hoped to gain my business back. On 1/24/25 I received a call letting me know the check was being sent. Today 1/31/25 I received the check. Drumroll please......$283.00 no other amount no explanation nothing. I have again reached out to VIP Gary MacCausland VP of operations as he was the one that sent me the check to ask for a reason. I also reached out to the initial response I received from VIP forgot the persons name asking for the same information. So the saga continues. I truly hope this helps people when it comes to making decisions on who works on your car and how they stand behind their work. This whole experience has cost me well over $2500.00 so far. I was told "bring it in no worries, we gotcha" Based on that information, I brought my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I was unexpectedly charged $200 for the diagnosis. If I had been told there would be a fee, I could have made an informed decision before leaving my vehicle. I have no issue paying for services when the costs are communicated upfront, but being told one thing over the phone and charged something completely different is unacceptable. I'm leaving this review so other customers are aware and can be sure to get any pricing in writing before authorizing service. Poor communication and a lack of transparency like this erode customer trust. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.

Case in point. I thought I had break problems as the car was making a squeal when I applied the brakes and later on it had a rubbing noise while driving. Called them and yes, they could have had me brought the car to them and charged me for a break job I didn't need. But no. The problem was a simple issue which I resolved myself with their guidance. On another case, I had a puncture in one of the exhaust pipes. It would have been simple for them to have an entire exhaust repair. Instead, I was pointed to a repair place nearby where they were able to do some precision welding for a fraction of what it could have cost. Their service orientation is above par. Devon and Gage are able to provide superb support even in the middle of the busiest days. Unflappable people. They do have AAA discounts too. Best yet, they support veteran causes and that is an added star in my book. We use them for everything related to our vehicles. Superb members of our community, superb professionals, superb people.
