It happened on a Friday night, of course. We called quite a few places on Saturday morning but they were either closed or booked weeks out. We then called Sean from A Plus Plumbing who was able to get us an appointment that evening. They ended up having an issue with the truck and needed to reschedule for Sunday. That worked out for us as we needed more time to try to find the lid since grass and weeds had grown over (they charge extra for excavation). By Sunday night we were back in business! ;) Their prices were reasonable and comparable to the other places we called.

They replaced a buried pressure relief valve (PRV) for our HOA. Attached new PRV to a corroded…read moregalvanized pipe rather than replace it also. Then proceeded to connect the PRV to the condo supply line (~14" total) with 4 Sharkbites and scrap pieces of PEX. Sharkbites were not protected from ground contact per manufacturers specifications, as such fourteen months later 2 of the 4 corroded and another major leak occurred in the same spot. Not a case of would it eventually fail, just when? Guess they expected to be called back to repair it again by an unsuspecting customer? Cost the HOA another $450 to have it repaired correctly by a more reputable company. When confronted with pictures of their repair they commented that they found their repair "acceptable". Now being taken to small claims to recover additional expenses from their shoddy work!
