This place is conveniently located on Race Street. Sushi always tastes fresh and their ramen is always good. Service is quick and the location is a bit small but accommodates. BYOB for the most part.

Dragon Fly Roll substitution tempura shrimp for salmon

Another trip to Fort Worth means another visit to Kingyo. Once again, the food was absolutely amazing! The ambience was cozy yet lively, even for a late Thursday night. The service was a bit slower this time, but we came an hour before close so it was understandable. We got the Salmon Lovers roll again, which was so good we ordered another one to go. Something about the salmon here makes it so fresh and tender - truly can say it's some of the best salmon I've had. The Dragon Fly roll was also delicious, the eel on top is so tasty. We substituted the tempura shrimp for salmon (as I'm not a fan of tempura), and I think that made the roll even better. The spicy seafood ramen was so good last time that we got two separate bowls, and we're so glad we did. The ramen noodles are the perfect texture, the soup is just spicy enough to make you sweat a little, and the portion is perfect with a side of sushi. Overall, it was another amazing trip to Kingyo and I'll be back for more!

Wow wow wow. I'm not sure when they opened but we were so happy to have dined here. Our group was starving and wanted ramen or sushi, and we somehow ended up at a place that serves both! They have a good amount of seating, and the atmosphere is warm ans d casual. The tonkotsu ramen was absolutely delicious, and great balance of flavors that I really enjoyed with the spicy seasoning at the table. The only drawback was the pork belly chasu was a little overcooked. The sushi was so fresh and we were pleasantly surprised. We got the salmon and yellowtail Nigiri and it was soo good. Staff was nice and attentive even though we came in towards the end of the night. Overall we can't wait to come again!

Had the black garlic tonkotsu with chicken and pork gyoza, which was really great value for the price. Service was kind and prompt, food came out quickly, and everything tasted pretty good. I really liked the decor and would imagine the covered patio is very nice earlier in the Spring or much earlier in the day.

The seafood ramen was awesome ! Spicy but seasoned sooo well. The beef ramen was okay! Rolls were 10/10 for the rolls. Very cute & casual spot.

Such delicious fresh food!! I got salmon and bluefin tuna nigiri (GENEROUS portion sizes) and a salmon avocado roll. My dad got the miso soup, a dragon roll, various nigiri, and the Texas roll. It had a comfortable feel and lively buzz the whole time. Our waitress was so incredibly kind- I messed up on specifying my order to be without sauce but she took it back and remade it free of charge which was honestly unexpected and a fantastic show of customer service. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of our meal!!! We were too busy devouring it. Highly recommend

Come to this spot. Ramen, amazing sushi, but my go tos are the Beef Udon and Chicken Fried Rice. Jalapeño poppers are delicious. The staff is amazing and I'm so glad this place is in our neighborhood. They also have pickup/delivery. Have been here like 20 times and it's delicious everytime.

Looking for good sushi at a place that is quiet and laid back? This is it!! The food was great! I had their Spicy Miso Chicken Ramen and it did not disappoint! The food was better than I expected: it was at a great price and with a great amount to it! I was also impressed with the look of the ramen as well! The atmosphere was peaceful and I loved their choice of music! There was Christian worship music playing and immediately I knew this was a place I'd be revisiting. The servers were extremely friendly and treated us as if we were family! We were able to chat with them without feeling like we were just another customer. I will definitely be telling others about this place and coming back soon!!

Stumbled upon this place while strolling race street. Very friendly service and the sushi was fresh and delicious. We had the whole place to ourselves since they had just opened for the day.

Chicken Karaage and Spicy Tuna Roll
    Joshua L.

Awesome staff, casual environment, and good food! Everyone that came to our table was very friendly and my friends and I had a great time eating here. The chicken karaage was pretty much what you would expect, but at a solid price and portion size. I also enjoyed the spicy tuna roll, which I also felt was very fairly priced. I'll definitely be back if I'm looking for sushi and I'm in the area!

Second, the decor was beautiful and the vibe was giving a tree house. And the reason why you're reading this, the food! Takoyaki 10/10: Very delicious and crispy takoyaki with mayo on the bottom. Seared Hotate: This was the appetizer that shook me and my friends. Wabi House has somehow turned scallops into steak. They were very delicious, tender, and juicy. Unfortunate that it only came with 4 pieces Very delicious ramen with chewy noodles! All of these noodles held their sauces and soups very well. Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty. Spicy Miso 6/10: Not much to it but spice! It came with no meat and I could unfortunately only taste the spice. Dry Garlic 7/10: I did not actually expect for this to have no soup, I guess I should read better, but this was delicious! If you love garlic, this is for you! It helped with my cravings and was so filling. Didn't get to try any dessert but maybe next time!

I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. The space feels intimate and welcoming, the kind of spot where the steam from the bowls fogs up the windows and time slows down just enough to enjoy your meal. The ramen is where Kintaro really shines. The broth is deeply flavored and comforting, rich without feeling heavy, and clearly simmered with care. Every sip feels intentional. The noodles have that perfect bite, springy and substantial, soaking up the broth without going soft. Toppings are generous and well balanced, especially the pork, which is tender and savory and melts into the broth in the best way. What really sells the experience is how everything works together. The warmth of the space, the aroma of the kitchen, and the layered flavors in the bowl create something that feels less like a quick meal and more like a small ritual. It's the kind of place you want to linger, finishing the last drops of broth even when you're already full. Kintaro isn't flashy or overhyped. It's just solid, soulful ramen served in a space that feels like a refuge. If you're craving something comforting and satisfying, this is absolutely the spot.

It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

The restaurant is very elegant, very neat, clean and well organized. I got there as they opened, and was promptly greeted by Ms. Lucy, hoste/waitress, who was soft spoken, very welcoming, with a very nice smile and beautiful personality, and was very efficient. She took my order, brought me a glass of water, and I ordered the Shoyu chicken ramen for $13.00 plus $2.00 added for a large. The Shouyu Chicken ramen was very delicious, the chicken broth was so good great flavor. Albeit, in my humble opinion the noodles, other toppings and chicken was very sparse for the price of the ramen. But, as far as taste goes it was one the best I have had so far. I also had the chicken fried rice bowl, for $10.00 $2.00 added for chicken, and gyoza (6pcs), for $7.00. to go for my daughter. The chicken fried rice was very flavorful, and daughter said the guys was very delicious. I will most definitely be coming here again the food was very satisfying, Ms. Lucy, is awesome and very kind. Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.
