My daughter and I came here from Edmond, OK to celebrate our birthdays together!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! 10 out 10!!! 100 out of 100!!! The best sushi bar/restaurant I've eaten at in the States. They have a very friendly hostess/waitress staff and the Sushi Chef is authentic!!! Thank you! Please come and enjoy their food!!!! It makes your tummy happy!!

Spicy Roll Bento Box Lunch Special to go. It wasn't bad. Maki were rolled pretty loose.

It was ok. Tasted fresh. There were already 3 tables waiting for food when I walked in for lunch. The chef gave me a menu but it was a dinner menu so I was going to leave until the waitress came out from the kitchen and gave me the bento lunch special, in which I ordered the spicy bento lunch special. When I left with my lunch, I felt a little bad for the tables waiting for their food. The place looked like it was run by just the two of them and I came in and took their time.

An absolute hole in the wall! The food is amazing and delicious!! 5/5 stars! Every roll tasted great! I love that they have an AYCE option, definitely more than enough variety. We were stuffed and happy afterwards! The pricing was very reasonable too! I would say service could be improved, but you can tell they're family owned and only have so many workers. It can be expected. Otherwise, I definitely recommend checking this place out! And we will definitely be returning!

This was a very good place To come for Lunch. Quick lunch service. No wait for a table. Will be back. I suggest lunch specials and I would be by more often.

Dragon Roll and tiger king roll

The gyoza was probably the best I've ever had! I usually prefer steamed but these were cooked so perfectly and had great flavor! The sushi was of course so yum and I didn't realize it was all you can eat for just $24! Super excited to come back and try more but this time I only tried the gyoza, dragon roll, and tiger king roll (they were delicious and so fresh). My server was so sweet and the sushi maker checked in that everything was good, too. The restaurant is small and quiet, which made it even better! This is perfect for a night out with friends, a date night, or a treat yourself night after work (like I did ). I've gotten takeout here before and it was good but it was definitely amplified having it there!

I'm totally shocked at all the positive reviews. This place is a total disaster. 1) It was about 55° outside but they had their ac full blast, along with their fans. We told the waitress and she laughed. 2) the lighting is directly in your face and very distracting. It felt like being interrogated. 3) Steak tatiki says it was seared on the menu. They brought out cold slices of roast beef with a heavy dose of sauce and cold, literally rotten pieces of lettuce 4) Speaking of menu, we weren't given one. No, there's no scanned menu either. We asked for a menu and she says "what menu?" Ummm the dinner menu. She's confused. Looks around. Then goes and gets it and says "this menu?" Wow! Do you even work here? 5) Ordered a side of broccoli. She says "what do you mean a side of broccoli?" I don't know what to tell you ma'am. Broccoli is broccoli. After an awkward few seconds she walked away. 6) our meals came 15 min apart. Very awkward. 7) Rice for the chicken teriyaki was so overcooked that it turned into paste. Utter garbage. 8) sushimi was tiny, thinly sliced, not fresh. See photo. Pathetic. 9) our waitress literally left. Like left the building. We had no one waiting on us for the second half of the meal. Finally, the guy from the back came over and handed our check like "oh wow you're still here?" 10) every item on the sushi menu is fried. Shrimp tempura galore. I think there was one choice, of like 40+ items, that didn't have shrimp tempura. It's almost like this place is run by someone who ate sushi once in their life and said ok cool let me open up my own joint. How's this place open? It's utterly pathetic. A total joke.

All you can eat order sheet

Went to this place on a whim after deciding I really wanted to splurge and thus hunted for an all you can eat sushi place near home. Totally dead in-house on a weeknight, but I think they do quite a bit of business for delivery, so the kitchen stays busy. I got my AYCE sheet and ordered 3 rolls on the first round and 1 roll plus gyoza on the second round. My choices: Haltom - spicy crab, tuna, and avocado with fresh salmon on top (served with ponzu drizzled on it, though the menu doesn't say so) Rainbow - california with various fresh fish and avocado on top (same with the ponzu) Dragon - california and avocado with eel on top Watauga - shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and avocado with krab stick, spicy mayo, wasabi, eel sauce, and crunch on top Gyoza (deep fried) All the fresh rolls were good not great. Everything tasted okay, nothing wowed. And the amount of fish (or avocado) on top really was way too little. I kind of expected this, but even so, it was disappointing. The cooked Watauga roll was pretty delicious, but what else can you expect from fried shrimp, decadent sauces, and cream cheese? The gyoza were my least favorite pick. Dripping with grease. Overall, quite average. I am probably even being generous giving it 3 stars, but for all that the dishes were lacking, I could tell the chef paid attention and care to the technique and presentation. He and his wife seem to really love what they do and want to make people happy. That also means service and prices are really nice. I can't help but round up a bit.

    2. Tomyum Soup 2. Chow Mein Noodles
    Melissa G.

My husband ordered 2. Tomyum Soup 2. Chow Mein Noodles. It was absolutely delightful. It's like nothing we've ever ordered before. The burst are mouth watering. If you enjoy spicy soups and are willing to try something new then we highly recommend this! I had the sushi and it is always amazing ! I love this place because one, the food is great. It's a ma and pa place. I love that it's a hole in the wall environment and the quality of food is phenomenal.

Do they have all you can eat sushi during lunch time as well?

    Yes

How is the all you can eat option? Are the rolls mostly rice?

Mostly rice? Not sure where you have been. This is probably the most traditional and real sushi experience out there. A real hidden gem. All you can eat? I mean. What more can ask of?? I love specialty rolls myself. The chef is a real artist. If you… Read more

Hesitantly we decided to eat before we stopped off at Lowe's and headed back to finish. Stay with me here. We were a little dirty. Not filthy. Not like we had mud all over us but dressed in work out clothes. Super casual. We entered and asked for a booth, The hostess took us to the back end of the booth where there were tables filled with other patrons. I wanted a bit more privacy and asked her to sit one booth back. She said no. Not to be deterred I sit down at the booth we wanted and felt most Comfortable. We wanted some privacy and not have people all around us. The request was to literally sit one booth back...this hostess wasn't having it. She literally demanded we sit at her booth of choice. Today, it became a "I'm not moving". She "slams" the menus and walks off. That behavior had to be addressed. I'm a reasonable person but expect a certain level of customer service. After all the price of eating out....isn't cheap these days and We eat here all the time. In fact, I became the DUKE again when checking in today.... #1 patron! I take great pride in the title. I discussed my frustration with the manager. When I asked to speak with her the hostess pointed to a manager sitting at the table vs going and getting her. Rude was an understatement. The manager didn't seem overly concerned. All said, the food was wonderful. The Tuna Tower (we ask for no rice) needed more avocado. The Pan Seared dumplings Devine as usual and of course the crab Rangoon are other worldly. The spicy bad girl roll was tasty. We added cream cheese. My sister gets her usual....every time. Hibachi Filet mignon, fried rice and Ginger Salad. It's her absolute favorite and she enjoyed every bite. I don't think one person should drive the overall review but today's experience was stressful...The food 5 Stars. Consistent. That said the hostess has influence and today's 1 star review is for her an her alone. We also ran into Lencho. Lencho is the absolute best waiter. Sundays though he works on the hibachi grill side. Bummer. His smile would have turned the experience around. He's that good and we love him. This is the second time where We've not experience the best customer service. Kyushu ownership should take note.....Some southern hospitality goes a long way. Look no further than to Lencho!

The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. The only other con was the menu is a little difficult to follow so you will probably have lots of questions while your ordering if your not familiar with this type of food. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. With the ramen, you have the option to customize the type of ramen bowl they offer along with different soup bases. I was happy to see they had a garlic ramen with tonkatsu soup option. There's also a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, other noodle dishes, and desserts. They even have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, pancakes and buldak stir-fried noodles. Along with my ramen, I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken karaake. The texture of the meat tasted like a meatball or ground chicken. While I liked the ramen in general, the soup was a bit on the salty side and that's coming from someone who likes her food salty. My friend didn't think so and literally slurped her bowl to the last drop. I will likely return to try other items on the menu, especially with it being so close to home. It's nice to have a ramen option nearby. They also offer bingsu which looks to be a smaller to-go version that looks interesting to try.
