Such a vibey coffee shop in Williamsburg! The interior is beautiful & coffee is great. Can't remember the name of the drink, but I was so impressed with the cold foam that was a bit salty/sweet. Best part was the foam wasn't too sweat so I could still taste the espresso. Stop in if you're on metropolitan!

Specialty coffee shop focused on delicious Southeast Asian flavors. My friend and I came in and ordered an iced Kyoto Fog (matcha with house made earl grey syrup) and Ca Phe La Dua (latte with coconut milk, house made pandan syrup, and coconut foam). As you can see from the picture, everything was delicious. My matcha had the perfect amount of matcha powder and I loved how citrusy and floral the earl grey syrup tasted. Note: the space is quite small with a bench in the front and ~6 seats in the back! So grateful a Viet coffee shop exists and tastes this delicious.

Kinhfolk is so good that I went back twice in one day! The shop is charming, with a cozy vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I tried the Classic Vietnamese Coffee, which had a bold, rich flavor, and the iced Kyoto Fog, which was refreshing with a perfect balance of matcha and Earl Grey. I'm definitely planning to return to try more of their drinks and pastries.

The lychee coconut Matcha was good and I think the coconut flavor was really strong, but I couldn't really taste the lychee.

Great drinks. Sleek space. The coffee is delicious, but the other drinks, especially the pandan latte, were also winners.

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
