I tried sips of my friends' drinks, and they got 50% sweetness and all iced, but this might be the rare place where 100% sweetness wouldn't be too sweet. - The double matcha has a matcha cold foam on top. My wife got this with almond milk which I'm not a big fan of, but it's so packed with matcha flavor. My least favorite of the 3 I tried. - The strawberry matcha was very good, with plenty of puree. Since the puree is sweet, you could get this potentially with 50% sweetness but I'd try it 100% next time. - Dirty hojicha latte: I don't like coffee and I don't like hojicha lattes but somehow this might be favorite. It has a deep hojicha flavor which I think mixes badly in most latte, but somehow this works. This is my first dirty hojicha latte, so perhaps that's what makes it work? They have a rewards program as well.

As someone always on the hunt for quality matcha, Sieve did not disappoint. The matcha is the right flavor, color, and consistency. Extra points for having soy milk as as option. Space is sleek and clean with free WiFi. Service was friendly and fast. They also have a few pastries like croissants and muffins you can munch on while there. They will definitely be seeing me again!

Great new matcha spot in Ridgewood just dropped! -Plenty of seating and friendly service. -Their unique specialty drinks are made with quality ingredients! -I love their matcha and coffee from what I've had so I'm so excited to go back and try everything on the menu! -Btw they use Proper Syrups so you already know each drink is crafted *They just soft opened so I look forward to what's in store for this new local gem in the long term! Sieve is a matcha-exclusive cafe in Ridgewood that is really great- you can tell that the matcha is premium quality. Yes it is not cheap but ultimately you're paying for quality that's justified. Also, you can see the staff taking their time with preparing the perfect cup as well. All in all, I loved the place.

Literally just left there and ordered a matcha latte with banana cream and where exactly is the banana cream? There isnt a hint of banana in this. It literally is just a regular matcha latte. The matcha itself isnt particularly strong either. Tasted very watery

I visited here two weeks ago and ordered the double matcha, pandan latte and the uji matcha for myself and my siblings to try and they were all pretty yummy. I watched them make the matcha, so you know this place is legit! And for sure I'll be making for frequent visit. The team that were there in the morning was really nice and patient while I looked at the menu. There are a couple of tables for those who want to work and enjoy their matcha there. I may come back and work there when I visit again, which is pretty soon!

I've had great service every time I've gone. The matcha coconut water is so delicious. I like how you can earn points and rewards, too.

My friend and I decided to share everything. We ordered: GARLIC NAAN 5/5 These garlic naans were probably the best we've both tried. As soon as we took a bite, we are both impressed. And to think that we would have missed out if our server didn't suggest it... These particular naans are made different from the traditional Iones. They are coated with buttery goodness and are super thin. The hummus on the side was also a very good pairing. I would recommend this app. PORK JHOL MOMO 5/5 These pork momos were also super delicious! Comparing it to the ones I've had at another restaurant, there is no overpowering cilantro in this one! The momo itself was very juicy. The flavor of the inside and the soup was delicious. Another must-get! CHICKEN KHAJA PLATTER 4/5 My friend and I were probably the least impressed with this one. A lot of the dish includes a lot of dry ingredients like popped rice & soybean seeds. They also used cold meats and veggies. It was great to try each portion of the platter, but wasn't our personal favorites of our visit here. Overall, we had a delicious lunch. We throughly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend this local spot. I did think it was worth the trip over.

Baristas were solid, price was right, everything was grand... I don't know what has happened in the last 6-9 months but I've had to stop coming here full stop. The drink I would always order and am intimately familiar with now tastes fundamentally different--burnt. And not in a dark roast way I would opt into... burnt in a non-intentional way. I don't know if something's up with the espresso machine plumbing that's burning the espresso, if the quality of the roast/beans have changed (doubt it), or if the microbiome of the ice machine is off--but the coffee now always tastes burnt in a way it never did before...and all my friends agree! I sincerely lament that this is the case and I check every 6 weeks or so to see if the espresso machine has been tuned up or something... but once again my cup was not tasty yesterday :/ !! I still go to other variety locations around the city and everything is ok elsewhere. I wasn't going to say anything but I'm just exhausted of not being able to get my reasonably priced, reliably good iced espresso drink when I get off at dekalb so I'm speaking up! For what its worth, I used to be a barista so I'm not just chatting, I sincerely want better for us all!! @Variety please just like get your guy to check the espresso machine or something IDK but summer's around the corner!
