I've been coming to this doughnut shop for years, but I stopped going after a very negative interaction with one of the older employees. I decided to give the place another chance two years later, hoping things had changed. Unfortunately, I had almost the exact same experience with the same person. The older woman who works the counter has consistently been rude and dismissive in her tone, and her behavior has felt belittling and disrespectful both times I interacted with her. The way she spoke to me made me feel singled out and unwelcome, and it was uncomfortable enough that I won't be returning again. This is our go to sweet spot after leaving a concert at the Forum. This old shack constantly has customers waiting in the drive thru line. Very rude staff. One woman pointed to the "Cash Only" sign in a very rude manner. Almost to suggest that I didn't have money. The other staff member proceeded to take the order of the lady behind me in line. Even after the lady insisted that she continue to take my order. Then began to raise her voice at me when I proceeded to finish giving my order. I've lived in and been familiar with businesses in this community for decades. This was THE MOST disrespectful encounter I've ever had. Also. I find it suspicious that in the 21st century, that any establishment would not take payment other than cash. Kinly donuts...not Kinky donuts, they're one on the neighborhood shop, they have been around for years. Customer service is great here, it's a family owned business that is open 24 hrs. They are so busy that there two drive thru on each side of the building. They also sell a variety of other Items too like chips, candy, cup of soup, smoothie, lottery tickets and Ice cream, BTW I have only purchase Ice cream from here, the Ice cream is the bomb. read more

I really really like kindly donuts. The donuts are always fresh they're reasonably price the staff is nice and they have banana let him pistachio ice cream which is a plus plus in my book the main drawback is that they need to come into the year 2023 and accept debit cards a long time and I don't have cash on me so I can't stop by which is a terrible thing so we'll always have cash and looking for the donuts. Earlier this week I actually read the menu for the first time and saw that they carry ice cream. My inner fat girl came out. I ordered the butter pecan ice cream and two donut holes. The ice cream was a notch down from thrifty ice cream but it was still A-OK by me. The donut holes was actually horrible. I didn't know you could mess that up. Why no one has review this donut shop is a mystery to me. I've been going here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The donuts are always fresh and delicious. I usually stop on my way to work picking up donut holes ($1.00 for 12) or a cinnamon roll ($1.10) either is enough to share with co-workers. I've only had the ice cream, which is low quality. The cookie dough flavor is actually butter pecan, sans pecans, with some chunks of cookie dough. The chocolate ice cream is below average, even for such a basic flavor, mostly because it has very little flavor at all. I live a block away and have been going to this donut shop every morning to purchase a cup of coffee for 10 years now. The coffee is great and one lady that works there (could be an owner; not sure ) was always pleasant up until today . I used the drive-thru as usual,pulled up and dId not see anyone at the window.So, I pushed the buzzer to let them know I'm at the window (I need to go to work right ?). The only lady that is there around 6:00am yells and snaps at me because I used the buzzer . She said, "I saw you coming !!!!". I was so startled when she came back with my coffee , I said what is going on ? She said again ," I saw you !!!!!" . I told her my car is very low to the ground and I did not see her sitting there . I can't believe that this woman would get upset that a customer used a buzzer that the business provided for the very purpose they installed it !!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!!! Was a good donut spot. As of today the donuts and service as gone down. I normally stop at Kinly's before work to order a dozen donuts for coworkers. Today I stop by to get one donut in the evening. The donut was dry and had green mold on it. I took the donut back thinking they just gave me a bad donut in error. The young man name Lee was so rude and mad I could not understand why. I was pleasant when I told him the donut was old. I wasn't upset I just thought it was a clear mistake. He threw me back my money walked away and didn't come back to the window until he finished helping four different customers from walk up. I asked him why was he so mean; I wasn't mean to you. I explained that I wanted to order something that was fresh. He stated in a rude tone he didn't have fresh donuts. I just wonder do the owner knows what kind of staff they have on Saturday evenings.
