Kinney's Carpet Care just cleaned all my floors - carpet upstairs and tile downstairs. I called on a Friday and they were her the next Monday. They showed up exactly on time. The tech did a fantastic job and even though my carpets are fairly new, I could tell how much better everything looked when the work was done. Between the smoke from fires in the last few years and the pollen this year I was not surprised at how much he was able to pull out of the carpets. on 6/22/23 Kinney's carpet care willfully dumped the waste water from their truck, frothing with soap or solvent onto the ground near the Upper Truckee river (Elks and 50)... then drove a few streets up the hill to service their next customer on Cherry Hills. They made no attempt to clean it up. The liquid that did not soak into the ground immediately and obviously flowed into the storm water ditch that connects to the river about 50 yards away. Their customers and the environment deserve better. read more

Excellent Job and Service with Kinneys Carpet Care!!! This morning I woke up to a disaster in my SLT vacation home's family room. My yellow Lab Atticus is 11 years old and he must have been sick or ate something that didn't agree with him. To my surprise, I found diarrhea throughout the family room, on some of the stairs, in the spare bedroom and foye. I was sick to my stomach and didn't know what to do! I called Kinneys right away and they called me back within the hour. Made an appointment for the afternoon. Paul came out and was so wonderful and reassuring. He told me that I did the right thing by not attempting to take out the stains myself. He spent a considerable time working and lifting all of the stains. Once he was done, all of the areas that were stained looked fabulous! The reasonable amount I owed Kinneys was well worth it! There is no way, I would have received this outstanding service in the Bay area. At the end, Paul said if any of the former stains happen to surface, he would come out and work on them again. I thought I would update my review since my last one was in 2012 They still continue to please. They arrived on time and our tech Taylor had great customer service skills. The carpets came out like new. It is amazing how much dirt is in those carpets even though we take our shoes off etc. I have used other carpet cleaners at our other places over the years and these guys are the best we have used. I was told they would be starting to do tile cleaning after their techs are trained. Maybe the first of the year. I am waiting to hit them up for that next year. Again, a great job read more

He was efficient, honest, and seemed to hold his employer in high regard. Would recommend and will use his services again. Kinneys came out to remove a stain from our 'new' furniture. Paul was professional, efficient, honest and just a really nice young man. He quoted pricing for future carpet cleaning for us (extremely reasonable). We adopted a beautiful puppy - went through 'potty training' and then called Kinneys to help us restore the carpet (were skeptical - puppy wreaked havoc on our carpet). Highly recommended!! We found ourselves between homes for a 3-month period and rented a friend's 3-bedroom vacation ski condo in the interim. His carpets were FILTHY. Since we have two 90-pound dogs and two long-hair cats, we had his carpet cleaned when we moved out. We had assumed the carpet was a dark beige, but as it turns out the carpets are actually off-white, thanks to Kinney! They did a spectacular job removing stains of unknown age and origin (we assumed red wine and coffee spills). And no evidence of our own "menagerie" was left behind, either. The condo is 3-level with 2 flights of carpeted stairs, so we were expecting to pay between 300 and 400 dollars like we had just 3 months earlier with another company in another city. Our bill, however, was under 200 dollars. We were thrilled! We will definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone that asks. I understand that Kinney's will be also offering hardwood floor cleaning in the near future, too. read more
