Oceanic Oriental Market is like Narnia for noodles--tiny, chaotic, and full of frozen treasures. Aisles are tighter than your jeans after dim sum, but worth it for the sauce wall alone. 10/10 would get lost in the dumpling freezer again.

Oceanic was introduced to me years ago from a friend whose Mom shopped there for her restaurant. Once we finally made our way there, I noticed it was much more than an Asian Market, they also sold household items, furniture, etc. back then. Now, that part of the store is closed off but I was lucky enough to get some amazing calligraphy artwork on rice paper that I was able to get at a steal and get professionally famed for my house. Now, it is just the food part of the store that is open that also includes some dishware but nothing like the housewares like before. I will note that the produce area has decreased in availability, and prices have gone up, which saddens me, but that has happened to a lot of places since Covid, sadly. In a more recent shop, I did find several Ube items, which are one of my favorites. The Ube pancakes are sooooo good and worth the try!

I always come here for the roasted pork! You'll see in all my pictures what is all about? They actually have lunch that you can pick as a combo but that's limited in items. I also like buying my Ramen and my dry noodles here. I do come here for household items such as ceramic bowls and plates. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest that you swing by just to check them out.

Such an amazing supermarket to visit with an amazing selection of produce, snacks, meat & drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful with all the requests that we had. Oceanic has a fantastic selection of foods, beverages and other products from all over Asia. Oceanic provides a chill & relaxing ambiance while shopping.

I love this place. I came here to get ingredients for tea. They are so helpful and friendly. I found exactly what I was looking for and more. I also tried food at the hot bar (fried rice and bbq pork) which was amaaazing! I was too hungry to get a photo of that but the serving they gave was huge. The pork was literally the best bbq pork I've ever had. I always get these Swiss roll cakes every time I come here. I usually get strawberry but really enjoyed this blueberry one. If you come here bring a coat! It's freeezing in there.

The supermarket is amazing and sells different products along with kitchen utensils which are good in quality. The staff was friendly and helpful with all the requests that we had. Wow! First I don't know anything about Asian food other than ordering take out chow mein. I have a noodle recipe I've wanted to try that called for a specific noodle so I thought I'd try. I think they have 972 different types of noodles along with every other obscure Asian food you might be seeking. Prices were super reasonable and very clean. I was impressed and will definitely be back. Hopefully this recipe is good and I'll be a little more adventurous.

What an absolutely fun market!! We popped in here just cause it was in the area we were walking around in. It's a lot larger than it appears from the outside, and they have SO many things on offer. We walked around looked at just about everything. If we had brought a cooler I would have taken so many things with me. I love that they have so much here, including hot foods that you can take and eat on the spot! The staff was busy organizing items and stocking. It's easy enough to find something you'll want to take with you. Overall: A+ Super fun store with tons to see! Pop in and try something new!!

Great local Asian market. It looks like wear house from the outside, but inside it's not very big, yet it has plenty selection of Asian teas, rice, herbs, fresh produce, frozen food and more. It's a small family business, and the staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Although there are other options for Asian markets in Tamp, I like coming here. I always find everything I need for my Asian meals. They also have few options on s for ready made food. I never tried it thought because it's mostly meat and I don't eat it Last time I came, I got amazing frozen fresh noodles and stocked my pantry with many items so I can cook at home.

BBQ at 10 am. Char siu BBQ pork $9/lb.

The two ladies were so nice and one helped me pick out sunscreen that was similar to another brand they don't carry. They even gave me a free face mask with my purchase. They had so many baked goods that I had to just keep walking because I would've spent some moneyyyy in there. Next, I hit up the small food court and got me a Korean corn dog (just sausage, no cheese because.... Well Iykyk) and it was so delicious. I'm still thinking about it as I'm laying here in bed. Well, they've earned their rating with good reason!…read more A friend and I went on a bit of an unplanned adventure yesterday as the first place we were going to go to was closed for an event. After driving 30 minutes to that place in Plant City and realizing this, we decided, "why not drive some more?". Josephine's was on my radar due to their great reviews across multiple platforms, so we drove another 20-30 minutes to check it out. We arrived at the unsuspecting strip plaza, walked in to what was just one well lit, cozy strip in the plaza and were immediately greeted by Robby, the owner, who asked us if it was our first time in. We let him know that it was, and he proceeded to educate us on everything they have to offer, from their bar, their sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pastas, grocery and so on... the meatball sandwich was calling my name, along with their pizzas and their pastas - so many choices! I did land on the meatball sandwich and got a bag of chips and a glass of wine while my friend got the Italian salad and a coke. For note, this ran us about $45. It was well worth it. The meatball sandwich was 10" and was stuffed with fully ground beef meatballs, seasoned well and very cheesy - so good. I tasted the salad and it was great as well, with plenty of parmesan cheese to cover up the taste of leaves that I was consuming (I'm not a vegetables guy still). While we were dining at the bar, Robby took a bit more time to tell us how the store came to be, being named after his grandmother who, though she wasn't around to see what he had started, would no doubt be very proud as his/his employee service was excellent and the food was no different. At the end of our experience, Robby took our payment and we explored the store a bit. Robby was kind enough to offer me two of their mini cannolis and my friend a scoop of their salted caramel gelato on the house as a way of saying thank you for coming in; again, EXCELLENT service. Since leaving there yesterday, I have recommended the place to 7 people and will continue recommending it to more people due to their great value, service and delicious food. Huge thanks to Robby and the team at Josephine's for knowing how to do things the right way. I'll definitely be back.

Success!! This is my 2nd visit to Sultans Market, the last nearly 2 years ago. The guy that helped me is likely the manager or owner, I did not ask. But to my delight he was a friend of Chef Yousef and was able to direct me to the olives, zaatar and olive oil I needed to complete my mission. The olive oil was freshly pressed Palestinian Extra Virgen oil very high in polyphenols (43 X) for you health aficionados. Better, less expensive and larger quantity than the expensive "polyphenol-rich" version (34X) sold online and advertised in social media. It was a perfect match and compliment to the hummus. Also found a delightful jar of olives from Jordan, packed in olive oil with lemon, bay leaf and slightly zesty yellow pepper that paired nicely with my other ingredients. Then, the perfect resealable package of Zaatar to mix will the olive oil for dipping pita bread. Last I bought some halal mediterranean style seasoned chicken for the air fryer at home. The last picture shows the results of my adventure today, I can not believe how many olives I ended up eating! On my 1st visit shopping at this Mediterranean Market was an impulse for me as I drove down Busch this morning. A pleasant surprise for an adventurous cook. There was some beautiful fresh lamb. I bought cryovac greek olives, some Indian Spice, baklava, hummus, fresh zuchini and other items. I disliked the cryovac olives intensely, not sure of their purpose but avoid them. This place was well stocked, diverse, somewhat busy and fun to browse. A nice lady shopper volunteered cooking advice on items I bought. As I venture into that genre of cooking, this store is going to be essential with their treasure trove of spices, fresh halal lamb, veggies and halal chicken and myriad of other products. The more I learn, the more I like this place. One large advantage is the variety, cost, quality, scope and breadth of products compared to the tiny amount of shelf space dedicated to these items in a grocery store. A place to broaden your horizons. Come get ya' some!

Located on Waters just west of Dale Mabry, it's owned by the same folks at Saigon Deli and it's in the same strip center. This place in particular looks a bit sketchy when it comes to prepared foods, fresh meats and seafood. Be very observant, discerning and selective. The ambiance does not exude confidence. I do not touch the seafood here unless it's frozen. I avoid most of the meats and only buy the freshest. Tiny aisles give it a tight crowded vibe. You can, however, find just about anything your recipe calls for. It is much larger than it 1st looks, an entire large area of product is somewhat hidden off to the right past the entrance. Even as a seasoned and frequent shopper in Asian stores, there are a 1000 things that are completely foreign to me. I cook a lot of asian food but the main draw for me is fruits, veggies and pricing. Asian products in a grocery store can cost much less in these markets, not to mention better quality brands. There is a goldmine of vegetables that will expand your appreciation of greens but also an enormous variety that gifts a never-ending opportunity for discovery. I never stop asking questions even if we resort to sign language. I'll pick a vegetable and have them point at a meat that pairs well.
