We walked in here this morning and had a wonderful experience. First timers! The people are wonderfully kind, it's a small, quiet diner-like atmosphere with great and quick service, and the food is great! They brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us, our danishes were delicious, and then our MEALS!! Wow! Husband got the French toast sandwich special with scrambled eggs, bacon, and provolone and the sandwich bread was thick and delicious French toast. He loved it! I got the two egg platter. My eggs were cooked perfectly and I had wheat toast, and homefries with onion. We enjoyed ourselves much and are looking forward to coming back!

This is an unassuming Greek owned sandwich shop near UMMC. They have daily and weekly specials here and one of the most expansive menus I have seen (you could spend your entire lunch break staring/choosing something). We tried the classic gyro and the chicken schwarma. They were both tasty and filling (I personally preferred the classic gyro, as I usually feel chunks of chicken breast are not as flavorful). Its a good place for a quick stop for breakfast or lunch.

I use to go here all the time before the fire. The last two times my crab cake has been burnt. This time she said the special I usually get never came with a drink. Which I found hard to believe but I didn't have other proof otherwise. I will not be returning.

I strongly suggest that, if you're in the area for lunch, stop in & get their Powerhouse Turkey sandwich. Thank me later... it's #MallyMallApproved

I tried their Cheesesteak Subs, $7.49. It was goooood, but I was also starving. They have great location, very close to the Medical Center.

Working in front of this place. So it was very convenient for me to grab food. I ordered the Reuben sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was really good. I liked that they grilled the rye bread. It was hot temperature wise. I also got the special salad of the day for dinner later this evening. Berry salad topped with grilled chicken $8.95. Romaine lettuce, pecans, strawberries, blueberries, mandarin orange, grilled chicken and raspberry vinaigrette dressing on the side) came with a breadstick . I wasn't expecting that. Nice I haven't tasted it yet but man it's huge! It looks delicious. I can't wait for dinner. I sure hope it's as good as the Reuben was. Update I tasted the salad and it's not that great. Not that horrible if I take the chicken out. Mainly the chicken has a weird taste or lack of taste. It's seasoned but I'm not fond of the taste. Other then that everything in the salad is fresh and crisp. Would be awesome if they had cheese on it. Especially goat cheese. for the price it's really a huge salad.

We requested outdoor seating, request granted. The upstairs patio is spacious and comfortable; fans helping to cool the summer afternoon. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel easy and relaxed. We ordered the Salmon BLT and the deviled eggs topped with lump crabmeat, along with (1) coffee, (2) mimosas and (1) white sangria- which was my favorite. Everything was delicious, and the patio was a great place to unwind after our hike. The music --a high-energy playlist from the night before (i assumed) still on an active loop. An interesting lunch sound treatment that didn't take away from a really enjoyable meal. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service. I'll definitely be back!

Although we were there on a Monday at lunchtime, the dining area quickly became busy and loud. We ordered some crab dip, which they were able to provide some gluten-free bread for. I really liked the crab dip! It was creamy and flavorful. After placing some salad orders, the food came out, but we were not brought utensils to eat. The meat was not cooked how we asked for it to be, and one of the plates had to be sent back to be cooked more. After around 20 minutes, we were finally given forks to start eating. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad and despite my fish being a bit underdone, it was pretty good. I wish there was more dressing on the salad though because it was a bit bland and dry. It also seemed like our waiter was super stressed as he was genuinely running through the restaurant at times.

I met up with a friend here, with her husband and kids and my husband, and we had a great time. We didn't realize there would be live music, so it was a bit loud at first, but we got used to it. My friend and I both got a cup of the crab chowder, which was tasty, if a bit weird-looking when the oil separated in it. I got a crab cake, and it didn't seem special compared to other crab cakes I've had, perhaps a bit dry too, but it was definitely fresh. I also went rogue and got a watermelon drink that was good enough where multiple would be dangerous! Everyone seemed to like their food, and my husband even tried clam strips and enjoyed them! Since it was New Year's eve, there were few patrons or maybe this is the usual scene? Don't know. But there are some comfy couches by the front in which a young couple with a baby was nursing. Another couple was just finishing up dinner and started to head out. We were the only two diners for about 20 minutes before another couple came in for dinner. There were also about two or three people at the bar. So basically a very quiet place. No one at the hostess stand, only a woman at the bar. She eventually sat us and took our order. Things were slow but not so slow that I would complain. I would surmise that most of the staff was off that evening. Food was also slow in coming so there might have been a small crew in the kitchen as well. We ordered the mezze appetizer. Nothing to rave about. It was just a plate with vegetables and hummus. We both got the wagyu burger and fries. The whole meal was quite decent. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature and the fries were crispy. It was quite filling for me.
