We stumbled upon David's and Dad's Cafe while walking to a parking garage after checking out of our hotel, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip! We had two bagel sandwiches and coffee, and everything was great. The menu has a huge variety, so there's something for everyone. The service was top notch, and the space itself has an incredible, cool vibe with that old building charm. Big shout out to the busboy, he was everywhere, keeping the room running smoothly with a friendly smile the whole time. Highly recommend this spot if you're in Baltimore!

A great place for a leisurely breakfast in the heart of Baltimore! Just blocks from downtown hotels and the convention center. Portions are more than ample and the price is right. My pancakes were fluffy and hearty at the same time, which is hard to pull off. I was very happy. (Small points off for serving the updated branding of Aunt Jemima instead of real maple syrup. But you can't have everything.) The fried potatoes were cooked absolutely perfectly, as were my eggs. And when I asked for crispy bacon (I don't like the floppy stuff) the order taker made sure to note it. And it came out great. Coffee was good, with refills from staff at the counter. Pepsi products are self serve at the soda dispenser. Staff was very friendly and didn't mind us lingering after we ate to plan out our day.

The building is in an old bank but you can't miss it when you walk in, it's right when you enter. If you go during lunch, it's very crowded. No matter where you stand, you seem to be in someone's way. I literally was in 4 different spots in corners of the room and still had people saying excuse me to get by. The employee who took my order was nice and told me the process. You place your order. They give you a number. Then you pay when your food is ready and they call yournumber. My food came out pretty quick overall. My food was just okay. I got a chicken cheesesteak with fries. The bread wasn't really toasted, just around the edges. The chicken was cubed and orange cheese. My biggest issue was lack of seasoning on the chicken and the fries. Unfortunately this was probably a one and done for me. Employees were nice but the food was average.

I randomly located this place by my job and ordered a Asian Grilled Chicken Salad on my 1st visit. Great telephone service, visually attractive, spacious, organized, and easy to navigate. Impressive customer service. Since that 1st visit, I've been there 3-4 more times. I've had their Chicken and Rice Soup. Very tasty. MD Crab... a little bland. Old Bay Wings, very yum !! Great sized wing too !! I love their fresh brewed peach tea. I have a few more things on my food wishlist that I would like to try. This Cafe is located in the perfect spot for locals!! I can't wait to return !!

Loved this place! It was such a whole in the wall place in Baltimore. You go in, order your food, and get your food within minutes! It was super quick and super tasty. The perfect spot to go to when I was starving for lunch. And don't get me started on the panini. The sauce that they put in the sandwich elevated the flavors. Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips too.

Good Sandwich. Nice place to have lunch during Jury Duty on a week day. Nice location in walking distance from the court house.

First off, the building is amazing. It's an old bank turned into a restaurant. The doors are a little hard to open but it's pretty cool looking. We went here 2 days in a row and if we were staying longer, we'd go everyday. The staff were very friendly. You go up to the counter to order then to another counter to pay. We happened to go both days right before the rush. The first day we ordered lunch because we had a late start in the morning. My turkey and provolone panini was so hot and delicious. My husband's chicken souvlaki was a lot of food and also delicious. The second day we made it to breakfast. We both got the power breakfast sandwich and shared a bowl of fresh fruit. It was just what we needed, something healthy! Service was fast and the prices were reasonable. If we ever go back to Baltimore, we will definitely go back there.

Zoom in to see the lox in the bagel. I think imma just stick to the drinks. I got an apple latte and it's pretty good but the bagel feels like ragebait.

I'm a fan of David and Dad's Catering. Whenever they cater events, I'm pleased with the boxed lunches or the hot food. To be clear, they do not have extravagant flavors or elaborate presentations, but it's simple food that works for business lunches, meetings, etc. GLOWS: -They have an expansive menu of hot and cold options. You can mix and match to create your desired menu. -The dessert options are simple but pretty good -Although I have never been, they have a nice cafe location as well... as Ive seen driving by!

Thankfully, we didn't have a long wait at all (for 2 people). Selections: 1) Large lemonades - Generous size and nice flavor. My buddy had a flavored lemonade and mentioned it didn't have much of the other flavor. Otherwise, they were decent lemonades. 2) As a native NYer, I love a messy burger. These were not that. They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. For the price paid, I can't say if I'd return. Maybe other locations season/ flavor their dishes a little more. I dunno...

I was recently feeling like a late night burger, typically when most burger spots are closing up. With their late hours and short drive, BB made sense. The place itself is simple and no-frills, just like the menu items. My dining friend had a burger and I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich with a large order of tots to share. The sandwiches were okay- not great not awful. Both required some doctoring up to elevate them lol. The tots, however, were the star of the show- crispy with good flavor. Summed up, you can't go wrong for a decent late night meal at a reasonable price.

It was the way he responded to me, as he said "ok and what do you want me to do about it" there was no apologies or I'm sorry this happened. Slutty Vegan Baltimore, It's Worth the Hype!!…read more Took a trip to the Black Owned Slutty Vegan Baltimore for my Big Sis's birthday, she's been dying to try it and finally got to see what all the buzz is about! The location is everything! Right in downtown Baltimore's up and coming Peninsula area, directly across from the Sagamore Rye Distillery. It's a fresh, developing spot that's definitely on the rise. The exterior is sleek and minimal, but once you step inside, boom!!! It's loud, lively, and unapologetically bold. Think vibrant colors, massive wall graphics, and a staff that greets you with energy and personality. They literally call you out as you walk in and it's hilarious and welcoming. Special shoutout to Zaneka (hope I'm spelling that right!) she was amazing. Patient, fun, and super helpful with all our first-timer questions. We were the first ones at the door when they opened, so we had the place to ourselves for a bit! We wanted to try EVERYTHING, but settled on: - The infamous One Night Stand - The Slutty Chicken Caesar Wrap - Both with Slutty Fries - And of course, the Oreo Cookie Milkshake to top it off Everything was flavorful and fun, definitely a unique twist on plant-based comfort food. My only drawback on my One Night Stand was that the Baltimore locations menu indicates that they add in chili on the burger which is not indicated on the online versions of the menu. I'm not a spicy food eater and I THINK that's what put the spice in this burger, I'll have it removed when I come back, but overall everything was pretty good. We ate in so our fries were hot and extra crispy. The milkshake was on point as well. I tried the pomegranate slutty ORGANIC lemonade on the go out and I have no regrets, very robust in flavor and really good. I am definitely a fan. Will be back to try other items on the menu. It seems every few years a new vegan casual chain is attempted and they all disappear because frankly they're just not good enough and this is no exception. The fries are decent, though I'd prefer them a little crispier and more seasoned. The chicken head sandwich is barely better than a Boca patty, which is really saying something (negative). The temporary item The big meat was okay but there was nowhere enough of the pulled "meat" it wasn't even as thick as one side of the bun, never mind both. The quality of food for $20 per item is frankly outrageous. I want vegan restaurants to succeed but this isn't going to be the way to do it and there is 0 chance we'll be returning.
