I've always wanted to try this place and finally had the chance to. I went in at 10:30am as soon as they opened. I got the cove platter with the 3 meats. I chose chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, and kalbi. I asked for brown rice instead of white and it came with a side of macaroni salad. The chicken katsu was very well fried. Very crunchy still since I made the trip to work and was able to still enjoy that crunch. The kalbi was okay it was marinated from what I could tell but I wasn't getting too much flavor from the meat. It was tender but it didn't have those grill marks or the char I was looking for. The chicken Teriyaki was a bit on the drier side for me. I was expecting the chicken to be in a sauce but it wasn't. It also didn't have that typical teriyaki flavor. They did put a sauce on the side im not sure what it was. It didn't stick to the chicken and the rice soaked it all up. The macaroni salad was a disappointment it was on the dry side with just egg and maybe a relish of some sort but that was it. I had to add a salt and pepper but still it was dry. The dumplings were the best thing, it comes with a tasty sweet chili sauce. The kimchi appeared to be old and didn't have flavor at all I didn't eat it. Unfortunately I may not be back.

Spinach and artichoke dip, house made chips and pickles, turkey and fig sandwich and lastly, the Chicken Mamou. Everything was so good. Now, on to the customer service. Even if the food was bad, I think I'd go back just for Cassie's immaculate customer service. She was very welcoming and knew the menu very well. I love a waitress who's able to recommend items from the menu and she didn't give one bad suggestion. I love her personality just as much as I loved the food. Will most certainly be back in the NEAR future and would recommend this restaurant to new patrons.

The redfish was flaky, fresh, and beautifully seasoned with a proper blackened crust. It was absolutely drenched in a rich lemon butter sauce that tied everything together perfectly. The corn maque choux was creamy, flavorful, and comforting without overpowering the fish. Even the salad tasted fresh and balanced the richness of the entrée well. The restaurant was PACKED when I arrived around noon on a Tuesday, which I later learned was likely because they were serving birria tacos that day. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of crowded restaurants, but honestly, the amount of traffic speaks for itself. People clearly come here because the food is worth it. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the restaurant itself was clean... floors, tables, everything looked well maintained despite how busy it was. Service was excellent. My server was attentive without hovering, efficient without making me feel rushed, and my food came out surprisingly fast considering how busy the restaurant was. Drinks were handled well too ...bottled sodas available, and free refills on tea and lemonade. Next time, I'd probably come a little earlier in the day to avoid the lunch rush, but I would absolutely order this meal again.

Came here for a birthday drink before dinner and boy do I wish we had dedicated more time to this…read morebar! The atmosphere was overwhelming, in the best way ever. Close to the Christmas holiday, everything was tinsel, with surfing Santa's, Tiki with ornaments hanging off them, and red and green mood lighting. We reserved 2 seats at the bar and read over the menu. Beachbum Berry's is a sister restaurant of Dirty Dick's in Paris and modeled after Trader Vic's in Atlanta. We enjoyed our drinks, our bartender poured me a birthday shot, and we vowed to come back after our fancy dinner. We didn't make it back, but we will again

It was good, but there was ice in it, which was strange. So even though it looked huge, there was barely any actual drink/liquid in the glass. I don't remember what my husband's drink was, but as you can see, it was mostly ice. 2. For dinner we had the pimento cheese rangoons (phenomenal), Then we shared the korean fried chicken (it was very greasy, we get better at home), and the Pork Belly Lo Mein (good but greasy). 3. It was SO DARK in there we couldn't see our menus or food at all. I was using the battery powered tea lights as a flash light to see anything. This place was just OK, we wouldn't go back.

The service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. It was a very cute establishment, but the food was just a big miss for me. I thought it was neat having several different choices of food, but I was expecting a little better quality food. The meat didn't taste all that great in my Udon combination. Not bad, just very cafeteria quality food. To be totally honest though, I think my hospital's cafeteria has much better food. We were recommended to try the honey garlic chicken, but we did not at all except to just receive a plate of fried chicken nuggets with honey mustard slathered all over them. Again, tasted just fine, but nothing special at all. The lo mein was quite bland to me. Never hurts to try something new though! Nonetheless, the happy hour was great. We got hot sake and egg rolls ($1.50!) and those were so good!! If I were in the area around happy hour, I would consider going back!
