Really disappointing. When you purchase a new furniture item and in a box you wouldn't give it a second thought that it would be damaged. Well not the case here. No I don't want to go back and forth just to find that the next one is damaged also. So I made the decision to keep the item. Just want to let fellow yelpers to make sure you open the box before you leave. I did contact customer service for Kirkland's and they only said to return the item back to the store. What a drag but it's what I already knew they would say. I did let them know of the damaged item so the are aware and maybe get some sort of QC department involved. read more

Kirkland needs to train their employees to understand the value of good customer service. First employees don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. They just chat and interact with themselves. If you can get someone's attention you'll get yes and no answers with not much else without you digging for more information. Crossing Kirklands off of my shopping list.(bye) read more

The aroma here is the first thing you notice even before you get through the door. There are many novelty household items. The aroma comes from fragrance sachets. I spent some time trying to isolate the one that was most prominent. It was a hopeless endeavor, so I just picked one that I liked. My wife found a couple things for the house. The things here are a little pricy unless you find one on sale. It will be worth a trip here just to get more fragrance sachets. read more

For a furniture store this place gets a score of zero stars as they don't have any. As a home decor store I give it a two, because at least they carry those items, atrocious as they may be to the senses. We walked in and right out, as the smell of something (candles? Potpourri? Formaldehyde?) was so overwhelming I had to get out of there ASAP. Maybe you'll have better luck or not as sensitive of nostrils. Regardless, definitely not a furniture shop. read more

Sheesh. My wife thought this place had some cute things and would have liked to have stayed longer, but the smell of scented oils and candles in here was so intense that it started to give us both headaches. We looked around for about three minutes, and then my wife said, "okay we have to go." Out we went. She could still smell and taste all of the perfumes in her system for several minutes after leaving. Why do people think that scents and smells that intense are a good thing? YMMV, but my wife and I can't take strong perfumes and odors, especially chemical-laden artificial ones. If you're sensitive to this stuff too, please steer clear of this place. read more

Stay away from this place if you can they'll rob you blind if they can get away with it. I happened to be in the area so I popped in for a peek. I was ecstatic to find these "Adelaide Distressed White Wooden Plaque, Set of 2" they were just what i was looking for. I bring it up to pay. Was charged 300 dollars for both. She says I can get 20 percent off if I sign up so I do. I think I'm getting a deal. This was on February 28th of this year. March 18th I'm on their website and I see the 2 pieces I just bought as a set of 2 for 112 dollars originally 150. So I was charged double! Of course I no longer have the receipt. Who would have thought in a chain you would be so blatantly ripped off? Who would have thought that the employee wouldn't know the price of their own item? I have messaged corporate with not a single response. Stay away from this place if you can they'll rob you blind if they can get away with it. read more

In visiting from California to visit family and stopped in to pick up some mirrors for my daughter. I asked the girl if she could help me out and she asked one of the other girls to help me out. I wanted 2 mirrors and as I was asking her some questions she kept interrupting me over and over. I was trying to know the measurements and another lady cane up and asked another question. She forgot about me and started talking to the lady about her church and I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for her to help me. She wrote down the number to see how many you had because their was only one I could find. She tells me that you only had one and that I had to go to another store. And that was it. No seeing where the next closest store is to find these 2 mirrors I needed. And she walked away as I was asking her if there was a bathroom facility. read more

Not so much a furniture store although they do have some great cabinets and accent pieces. It's more of a Home Decor store. I love the style of stuff this and all of the Kirkland's stores carry, and I've purchased a lot of items for my home. Paintings, wall art, a cabinet, candle sconces.... I don't like what I assume is the corporate pricing system: new stuff is seriously over priced; they constantly have sales, coupons, mark things down, then put them on clearance... that's when to buy. When you can find what you love on Clearance, and have a coupon, that's like winning the lotto! If an item hasn't been marked down 3x yet, just wait. And make sure you get the coupon too! I really would rather they just have low prices every day... then again, I'd probably just buy more stuff! read more

I love love shopping here, however this is now the 3rd week that this company has been making their employees work with NO air conditioning. This is UNACCEPTABLE as we all know how hot it gets here in Arizona how dare you let your employees be treated this way. I pray none of them have a heat stroke!! read more

I don't always like what they have but you can find some really good stuff at a great price. Plus they are one of the only stores that let you use a coupon on sale items. The staff is always very friends when I go. A sweet Kylie was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me, when I was trying to figure out how to carry my baby and a chest I had just purchased. read more

I really like the variety of home decor items that Kirkland's offers and their pricing is pretty decent. I really like their picture frames and wall art. This location's customer service could use some improvement, though, and I will also point out that the aroma is very overwhelming, which causes me to be in and then out pretty quickly. read more

I love Kirkland's for the home decor and have never had any problems when I go...But today was horrible!! The customer service was very sad. I waited at the register for over 10 minutes and a couple workers walked by and said nothing . What appeared to be the manager was talking to an employee about an arrangement in the store for over 5 minutes and didn't even acknowledge me. So rude and to top it off when I was paying the lady who helped me was rude as well. Work on treating your customers with respect, not like you hate life. I Will be going to the other Kirkland's from now on!!! read more

Good store except for the very strong smell ! They should take care of the strong perfume/candle scents!
