I brought my car here after being rear ended in December 2018…read more Despite the negative reviews before me, I really wanted to give them a chance, boy was I wrong. After spending almost one hour with me going over the damage done to my car (a 2014 Nissan Altima), I was told that most likely the insurance company would deem my car a total loss. At the same time I was promised that they would do everything they could to prevent that, and that they would "fight for me, to get my car fixed within the total value of my car, to not deem it totaled." This is done by looking for used and aftermarket parts, and not overcharging for things that do not need to be fixed. So, I felt good leaving, I felt like someone was in my corner and was going to at the least try for me. (Since I did not have GAP insurance, I would be upside down on my car loan - owing more than it's worth) I was told I would be called within one week to get the details. Fast forward... 9 days later I still had not heard anything from anyone, so I decided to call them. I was put on hold at first because they didn't know who I was, then they told me that they didn't have any updates for me, and that they would have to call me back. I received a call back about half an hour later stating that they just got off the phone with the insurance company and they were totaling my car, but feel free to stop by and collect your belongings out of it. Okay, SO.... no one called the insurance company until I called 8 days later, apparently to remind them that my car was there... This was confirmed with State Farm, that no one had contacted them from Carstar until AFTER my phone call to them 8 days later. Long story short, NO ONE fought for me, NO ONE even made a phone call, until I CALLED THEM. Fast forward again... being so upset with this, I decided to take my car out of there and get a second opinion. Two days later, at a different shop, I got a REAL ESTIMATE, that State Farm quickly approved and sent the check for repairs! The second shop was straight forward, gave me regular updates, and fixed every item that was on Carstar's estimate. I am now driving my flawless fixed car every day that CARSTAR deemed "totaled." Do your research before trusting this shop. For being an insurance claim approved body shop PLEASE do your part, THAT YOU PROMISE TO DO CARSTAR, and look for all options on parts - whether NEW/OEM, USED, or AFTERMARKET, it can mean the difference of a total loss for customers. Would not recommend this place.

My mother had two repairs done, one was insurance covered the other she paid out of pocket. She just picked her car up today and could not stop praising the staff there. I believe Chris was the manager and Lisa was the receptionist who she dealt with. She said they were extremely helpful in getting her a rental car thru her insurance and that her car looked better then new when she picked it up. I would highly recommend this shop.

So, I stopped in, looking for an expert opinion. I was greeted kindly and within minutes, a friendly mechanic came to help me. He checked my oil and pulled the codes. We were assured that we were safe to make the trip home but advised to have the van checked out when we got home. The gentleman handed me the diagnostic printout and didn't even charge me! I seriously doubt I would have gotten that treatment at a dealership. I am so grateful to have found Wheels and such kind and helpful people! Real mechanics find out where the coolant went first, because if it is going in the oil it will destroy the engine . when i picked it up i check the oil it looked new because i recently changed it not milky from a coolant leak ,I added coolant its been about one year and it is still at the perfect level ??? mystery 1 ,, he said my battery was bad but my battery load tester said it was good and one year later it still is good ??? mystery 2. he sends me a picture of the cabin filter with more dirt and bugs on it than i ever saw on any of my filters and asked should i change it and once again i say no i do ALL MY OWN work when i pulled it out at home much to my surprise he shoved it back it with all that stuff still on it ,, all you have to do is turn it upside down and tap it and 90% of all that would fall off what kind of person does that ??? no mystery there . DO NOT GET YOUR CAR INSPECTED HERE I got my car inspected…read morehere about a month ago. They said all was good, but that the tires should be replaced soon. For me, soon is about 2-3 months. Yesterday, my car hydroplaned, lost control, and we landed in a ditch. As the troopers arrived, they said that my tires had 0 traction on them and that it should not have passed the state inspection. I'm convinced that these tires are the reason the accident even happened in the first place. For the love of god, don't get your inspection done here. Go literally anywhere else.
