I chose not to sign it till it was completed, which the staff person seemed to find insulting. When I picked up the vehicle, she pointed out that the wrong windshield wipers were on the vehicle; my husband checked them, and found that they were barely hanging. I called, she said bring the vehicle in at 11:30 am, which I did. She immediately started arguing with me "we have no reason to touch the wind sheild wiper" and comments like "people come in here and complain that their trunk is leaking after they had a new windshield installed." Totally inappropriate, not my problem, and insulting me - obviously in her mind I had to be lying. She made NO attempt to be even borderline polite or respectful. In my opinion, this woman seriously needs customer service training! The usual result - I have told all our family and friends of this experience; none of us will ever deal with Abstract Glass again!!

Turns out we needed an alternator and it was 3:30pm when we arrived (they close at 5pm) We were extremely grateful they drove to parts store to pick up new alternator and installed it, we were gone by 5pm. If they wouldn't have gone out of their way for us, we would have have to stay in a hotel for another 2 nights, miss work and and school Monday to get our truck looked. Long story short - I took it down the road and the reception was far more inviting and I dealt with them instead. Now, I have the pleasure of having some kind person think it's pretty funny to key passenger door of my car. Stefan worked so hard to find me great prices on the parts needed to repair my vehicle. He took the time to show me exactly what needed fixing and how it should look after they finish it. Communication is key for me when I'm dealing with car things. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to know when I'm being ripped off, so I'm always appreciative of staff who take the time to explain the details in terms that I understand. They even covered the cost of a rental car for a week (conveniently located right next to the shop). When I got my car back it had been detailed inside and out. I'm not sure if that is standard practice, but I sure noticed the difference.

As I watched the guys do the repair, I noticed they would lay their clip board right on my paint, they also draped extension cords on the paint, I watched them repeatedly rub the paint with their hands, not sure why, but these are all good ways to leave scratches and swirls in my ceramic coating. Just some observations of complacency. Was all covered through my insurance so it was a no money out of pocket and a quick in and out and an easy appointment.
