Dealing with Tony getting everything organized was a pleasure, he was great to deal with and always made himself available. The install team worked in and around the Christmas break in very poor weather conditions with no complaints. The team respected our home, and when they were finished left almost no trace that they were there. The windows and the install itself was flawless, you could see they really pay attention to the details (even if they are working while it's 5 degrees celcius and pouring rain). We found Kevin did not include important details in the original order we placed. We did not receive notice of delivery date/tim--had to track it down. The windows we received were wrong. We reached out to connect with his boss but was redirected to Kevin who committed to making it right by re-ordering the windows at the specifications we required. From his email- "...sorry, I missed this email. We'll make two windows egress with grills. I'll have them rushed through production at no cost to you and Steve. We'll pick up two of the four windows that were delivered," A month later, with no word on this re-order, we reach out to learn he did not submit the order. July 18, he stated "Ya, this is a real boondoggle, we just can't seem to communicate very well. I've been dealing with Stephen via text messages, and you via email. I've read through his texts and your emails, I have the grill work stuff here and it's ready to go. I'll rush production of the egress awning windows with bug screens and the flippy door to access the hardware. I'll make this my only priority this week. I want this resolved as badly as you do...believe me. Cheers, Kevin." A week later, we reached out for an update and Surprise! The windows were not rushed to production. It's a fairly big home, so not a small project either! Alpine worked to complete the siding near the end of the "gentle season" in the fall and worked in wind and around rainy days to keep the home protected from weather, while efficiently installing our chosen James Hardie product and windows at the same time as they moved from side to side amidst storms. The result was beautiful, with new trim boards added for effect, and everything tidily caulked before winter set in. It looked so wonderful, we even enjoyed the prime siding color before spring came and the paint could put the final touch on the project. Alpine's crews, always kind, upbeat, and efficient, made certain we were early on their spring calendar and completed the rather complex painting job perfectly. Their cleanup crews made sure everything was neat and safe after each work session. We feel very fortunate that Alpine agreed to help us with this project. Their charges were very reasonable and we were able to add details and lower our costs with a full-payment arrangement. I was referred to A1 by a friend of mine who used A1 a few years ago for her new windows. The installers were very polite. The supervisor inspected each installed window with me to make sure I was satisfied. When I asked about the caulking on one of the windows, the supervisor brought over the installer to redo it and then got the installer to check all the other windows to ensure they were OK by the time I inspected the windows with the supervisor.
