Dr. Moradi and all the staff at Kirsch and Moradi Dental are wonderful. My very first appointment at the office was with an amazingly thorough hygienist named, Daniella. She cleaned my teeth exceptionally well and explained to me the importance of flossing daily. She added some fluoride to sensitive teeth. After seeing Daniella, Dr. Moradi checked my teeth, chatted with me about concerns I had, suggested a different toothpaste and to come back for x-rays when i wasn't pregnant. She was kind, super easy to talk to and explained everything thoroughly. I have continued to see Dr. Moradi and Daniella for the last 3 years now. The office is SO good about sending you reminder texts for your appointments, calling to let you know if they can squeeze you in if they have a cancellation, postcards in the mail reminding you about appointments and to top it off they even sent me a welcome baby card!!! Great experience at the dentist, which I've never said before! Saw Dr. Moradi to have a crown made and "seated" after a root canal with a different dentist I didn't trust and who tried to overcharge me. Dr. Moradi and everyone in her office is knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly. Dr. Moradi's expertise is obvious, and she has a great "bedside" manner--attentive, calm, warm, easily moving from one patient to the next without skipping a beat or losing focus on each patient's needs. I've had such a great experience here. They had to fix lots of mistakes from former dentist, when those fillings came out or stopped working. Whitening also worked great. Right off the bat I felt at ease with everyone in the office. I waited only 2 minutes before being brought back. Going to the dentist is something I dread, like a lot of people. Today was my first experience at this dental office and it was amazing. The staff is so friendly and took the time to explain things to me. I am very intuitive and like to know what's going on. They all took the time to explain in as much detail as I wanted. I always get so nervous going into the dentist, but Dr.Moradi is so sweet she makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. RELAXED?!? In a dental office!!! Never would have thought I could be relaxed in a dental chair but I am with her. She is always making me laugh. She's so fast and efficient the work is over before I know it. I used to visit the dentist regularly. I was diligent about getting my teeth cleaned every six months and I liked my dentist. Then my dentist ended up selling his practice and moving out of state. The dentist who took over was not my favorite, I would wait in the lobby for what seemed like forever and subsequently I ended up moving on. The next practice I went to was in Newport Beach. The dentist looked like he had just graduated and he had no idea what he was doing. The experience was painful and stressful. I left feeling miserable with bleeding gums and my teeth didn't even feel clean. Recently I was encouraged by a friend to try her dentist, Dr. Pershin Moradi, in Lake Forest. It had been a while since I had seen a dentist, I knew I was going to have to do it but I was scared. She assured me this practice was different so I went ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived at the Kirsch and Moradi Dental practice, I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Maybe the same receptionist who booked my appointment over the phone who was very patient and worked around my busy schedule. The waiting room was full and I worried there would be a wait. But just as fast as I sat down I was up and in my appointment. The lady who took my x-rays was exceptionally friendly and really made an effort to move quickly. Next I moved into the dental chair where I was warmly greeted by Dr. Moradi. She performed the most thorough dental exam I've ever had. She was a wealth of knowledge and with ease made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She's sincere, approachable and confident. You can tell she takes pride in her work and cares about your experience. Finally I was seen by the best hygienist. She was so gentle and concerned about my wellbeing. When I left her chair my teeth had never felt cleaner. When I was checking out I was asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment for six months out and my answer was a resounding yes! I could not be more grateful for finding Dr. Moradi and her practice. She is a breath of fresh air. I very rarely take the time to write reviews but my experience was so exceedingly pleasant that it was worth my time to share my experience with you. Picking a dentist is one of the most daunting tasks, in my opinion, and I came to find myself traveling out of my way to Dr. Moradi's office through referrals. I will travel for someone not to mess up all the work my parents paid for braces and retainers in my adolescence! Going through my annual routine cleaning, Dr. Moradi brought up that I could have cavities but it was not clear in my imaging. After a little hand holding she made me comfortable enough to agree to have her drill a bit to peek and see whether or not it was necessary to dig up... and it turned out to be cavities. Dr. Moradi didn't even let me see the numbing needle, she was magic! I didn't feel anything and she smiled and made conversation along the way. It was all over faster than I could have imagined! Needless to say, I have finally found a dentist who I can trust not to make me do unnecessary procedures, take account to my nervousness, and have excellent bedside manner! If you are looking for an average dentist and staff, Stephen Kirsch and his practice isn't for you. My wife was recommended to Dr Kirsch and she subsequently referred me. Since I'm a well trained husband I listen to her and was glad I did. He has a great calming and reassuring disposition and frankly only recommended an iterative approach which has been appreciated. In the case of Dr. Moradi it means that she listens to what you desire without an intention of leading you to what she wants to perform. After carefully listening she marries your desires alongside what she, in her professional opinion, knows you need. She then presents you with a spectrum of options, all the while being conscious of what will be the least invasive (on your mouth and your pocketbook) procedures necessary to accomplish YOUR (not her) goals.
