today is my last day using this cab service! i draw the line at unprofessionalism and rude service! Watson cab service has sent a car (via prestige service) and the driver never came. to make matters worse, this driver sent me a very nasty text message after theyd fail to meet me at the correct address. after calling watson to speak about this experience, the dispatcher said it is not their responsibility because the driver was for prestige! please save the stress and disrespect and use another service!!! read more

If I could give zero stars for this company I would. They don't even deserve a star. I was attending my sisters wedding over the weekend as part of the bridal party and was traveling from the Bronx to New Jersey. I called Watson to request a cab to Penn Station so that I could get to NJ Transit to take a train. I spoke with the dispatcher, Raul, who sent a taxi to me at approximately 6:30 am. The driver takes me to The Port Authority and I asked to re-confirm: "This is Penn Station?" To which he replied "yes!" Then dumps me on the corner and takes off after paying him $50 in cash for the ride and a $5 tip. I go inside to purchase my train ticket and realize there are only bus tickets available. I ask an employee who tells me I need to go to Penn Station because I was at the Port Authority. I called the driver who was too far gone to assist in getting me to the right location so I then had to spend another $18 on a yellow taxi to get me to the correct location. When I called to express my grievance with the Dispatcher I was told nothing could be done, there was no supervisor available and I would need to call back Monday to speak with a Francisco. Because of this egregious error I did not arrive to my sister's wedding in Asbury Park, NJ in time and had to be replaced by a guest in the ceremony! This was a once in a lifetime occasion and it was absolutely ruined for me! I called today to be given the COMPLETE RUN AROUND! Not even an APOLOGY! Absolutely disgusting! The attitude and dodgy behavior has prompted me to leave a Yelp review. Raul is completely incompetent. He told me the cab that I was sent BY HIM the morning of apparently was from a third party driver and there wasn't anything that could be done. I explained I called their dispatcher at Watson directly and provided the info which had to be passed down from them as I never told the driver my destination, he knew it from the dispatcher! I asked to still speak with Francisco as I was told to call back today to speak with him. Raul puts me on hold with no response whatsoever. 5 minutes later I call from an alternate number and press him as to if I'm just being brushed off and placed on hold or am I waiting to speak with Francisco the manager? He tells me "he's unavailable." So I then asked why would you treat a customer this badly? You put me on hold rather than telling me to call back or taking my information for a call back? I don't expect to get any money back as I paid cash, but the least they could have done is offered an APOLOGY and maybe a voucher or credit in the future. The most disgusting, irresponsible and unprofessional TLC company I've ever dealt with in my adult life. Stick to LYFT and UBER, they are way more strict with drivers and had I used that I absolutely would have been refunded for this ridiculous error! Been calling this base for more than 10 yrs and every once and a while I run into a driver who has issues with thr color of my skin it's 2023 black people take cabs too and I shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable because I'm black .base is disgusting the drivers absolutely suck they're rude and racist asf read more

What's the point of having a cab service with no available cabs especially in the morning when people are actually in need of a cab

Horrible service everyday is the same fucking problem. They made me late to take my daughter daycare and running late for work. If you thinking of calling this base think about it twice because you will get late mostly if yu are paying with card. The owner has a nasty attitude as while as the employees. This is the absolute WORST cab service I have ever come to experience! A friend of mine called the cab for me and told the dispatcher that I would need a cab that accepted credit cards. Was told that the cab would be there in five minutes. After waiting for 14 minutes, I was about to call another cab service. Then THIS cab finally showed up. The driver said he made a mistake and went to the wrong address. Fine. When I got in the cab, I then confirmed to him that I was paying with a credit card, and he said no, - he accepts cash only. I told him that my request for a cab with a credit card was communicated to the dispatcher when calling for a cab. He said the dispatcher never told him that but that we can stop by an ATM to get cash. So, we stopped by an ATM so I can get cash, and it was out of service (just my luck!). This annoyed me. But, apparently, it annoyed the driver more as he called the dispatcher and started talking to him in Spanish. He then hands me the phone, and the dispatcher says...verbatim: "Listen, you are wasting my driver's time having him drive you all around because you don't have cash. He's going to take you to the bank, you're going to take money out, and you're going to pay him. It's not our problem that you have credit cards." I responded accordingly: "Wait a minute, first of all: don't tell me that I am wasting your driver's time! Number one - he is not driving me all around. He went to an ATM that is two blocks from where I live. Do you think I want to be driving all around looking for an ATM? And, secondly: I MADE A REQUEST FOR YOU TO PROVIDE A CAB THAT ACCEPTS CHARGE CARDS. So don't tell me about wasting your driver's time. THIS IS WASTING MY TIME, TOO!" As would be typical is liar, the dispatcher denied than anyone ever told him to provide a cab that accepts credit cards. So, the cab driver takes me about eight blocks further away from where we already were (2 blocks from where I live) to a T.D. Bank, and I took out $20. Mind you, all of this traveling occurred within a 1-mile radius, and the fare to where I was going was only $9. I had it in my mind to give the driver a $4 tip for the inconvenience of having to make two stops in spite of the dispatcher being rude and dishonest (about how he was not asked to provide a car that accepts credit cards); in spite of the driver's complaints about me not having cash; and, i spite of the driver being almost 10 minutes late (8-minutes late from waiting time of 5 minutes) given to me over the phone by the dispatcher). But, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CASE IF THE DISPATCHER HAD SENT THE RIGHT CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! So, when the cab driver takes me to my address, which was 3-minutes in time from T.D. Bank (I timed it), I give him the $20 in cash that I withdrew from the ATM. And...he just sits there. Then, he finally says, "Okay, bye." I told him that I just gave him $20 and the fare is only $9 - and that I would give him a $4 tip for making the stops (thanks to the dispatcher). He said that it would be $20 because he had to travel all over, which was a f*****g lie! After arguing with him, he charged me $15. This is a very SHADY cab service, with SHADY a dispatcher and SHADY drivers!!! For anyone who thinks about calling this cab, PLEASE THINK TWICE BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. *Further Note: The day this occurred was in the early am (between 5:45 and 6am) of Wednesday, December 4, 2014. read more
