I can not say anything nice about this company. Requested a car through the app. The app gave me one price and driver asked for a higher price. He became rude and said he would accept the fare the app quoted but he would never do it for less. Suggested I try Uber to see how much they would charge. He made it sound as if he was doing me a favor. I had used this taxi service before so I know the set price for the trip. He was just rude he kept going on and on. I just wanted to get home. He was being so obnoxious I asked him to turn around I did t want to ride with him. He became even more upset saying he's going to charge me for the two blocks he drove me. I used the prestige car service app to schedule cab. For 4 mins the cab displayed "on location" I contacted the base as the app, kept marking on location. The female dispatcher explained the driver was turning the corner. I contacted prestige again as the driver hadn't arrived and it still marked on location. The female dispatcher informed me that I need to wait. She expressed that I hadn't waited enough. I tried explaining to the dispatcher that the app was marking on location & showing if I wanted to cancel the call. She became agitated & hung up the call. When I entered the cab he explained that the prestige app "on location" isn't accurate in comparison to companies like uber. He explained that the application, marks on location when you're near the pick up area. This is something that prestige should inform riders of & express to clients as well. read more

So i went back on my word and used this service again only to see that nothing has changed other than the drivers are older. The car that came to pick me up was dirty (not surprised), i couldn't roll the windows up because the control pannel is completely gone, the driver made 2 wrong turns because that's the way he knows after i told him which way to go. He stuck to my route only after asking him who was paying and if he wanted 2b paid. Lastly, the card that has his information to report a problem was not present. I wish Excellence (718) 731-1111 was not busy this morning. I'm givin them 1 star because i cant give them zero. read more

Horribbleeee. They will leave you on hold for more than 15 minutes to tell you sooo fast that there is no cabs that you can not even understand them. They tell you 5 minutes and if the driver is there in 2 instead of 5 minutes they will leave you. Horrible service. I've been a customer for years and as of late, Prestige has disappointed me time and time again. Not only do some of the drives show up 10/15 minutes after they were supposed to, but they have attitude. A driver once told his friend on the phone in Spanish, "she thinks she knows everything cause she's a woman." Well, if I take the same route everyday, I'm asking you to take a certain way for a reason. I'm not the type to write reviews, but after a driver told me that he was going to take the Cross Bronx (over an hour) instead of an alternative route (approx. 36 minutes), I'm just fed up. I Called Prestige for a Car or Van Large enough to fit 6 people and luggage to go to Kennedy airport at 5am on Sunday August 5. I called Several Times that week to express that it had to be Big enough to fit 6 People comfortable Plus Luggage. I even called the day Before to Confirm, I was told No Problem we will be there. They did get there on Time but Not with the car they said they were going to send me. The driver called the dispatcher and told them the problem. The driver said they would send us another car in 15-20min. So we waited a half hour and finally I called to see what was going on. Spoke to the dispatcher and he put me on hold for I dont know how long. Finally I called back and he said they were looking for a driver with a big enough car to pick us all up. Now its 6am and we had to get to the airport on time. The sent another car that was still too small to fit 6 People and Luggage. I finally called Crosby Cab which we should of did from the beginning. They sent us 2 Cars in about 10min. and got us to the airport in Time for less money Then Prestige was going to Charge us. Thank You Crosby Cab Service. Had driver #2649 it took her longer to input information to her GPS than it took for her to drive us and on top of that when I asked her how much the fare was she said it's $10 but $11 with tip. The dummy doesn't know that I normally tip $2-3 but since she asked for the dollar. How dare she assume I was not going to give her a tip. Will never call again. read more

If I could use a negative star I would. I downloaded their app and made a RESERVATION days before the event and they never sent a car. I had to have someone Uber me a car so I could make it on time after waiting for a while. And when I tried to email them about it I never got a reply. I am a customer of continuously, twice of everyday, sometimes even more. I have the app and I use it everyday. I always put a note or comment everytime I get a car service, I put a not that I need help with the stroller for my son. I have two kids one is a baby that I don't want to leave by himself on the street or a the sit by himself to fold and put the stroller at the trunk that is why I always put on my comment I that I need help with the stroller, so the driver would have a choice to accept it or not. This car service is very rude and unprofessional! I said can you please help me with the stroller a couple of time before she went out. She don't want to help, if that is the case why she had accepted the address in the app? She said it is not her job to help anybody! I'm a paying customer. Driver that you get represent your company. Customer service is very important, you can check that I am a continuous customer, everyday. That lady was very disrespectful to me in front of my children and I am very disappointed with this incident. She also implies that even I call the base they will never do anything About it.
