Both the plumber, Steve Brillinger, and Richard Jordan, the laminate installer were wonderful. Finished on time, within budget, and it looks fantastic. We ended up with a solidly built addition that passed inspections the first time through, Bruce and Joel were great to work with. As with any major remodel or construction job, there were bumps in the road, but Bruce always addressed them and made everything right, even following up after the weather changed to check on the work and make a few minor adjustments when some siding expanded because of the heat. They stood behind their work and we will hire them for work we need done in the future for sure.

They got epoxy all over the exterior of our cupboards when installing the quartz. They broke my sink and when they finally installed the replacement sink they got black tar like adhesive all over the wall of my cupboards. They admitted their damage and attempted to clean it up with paint thinner which made it worse. They miscut a corner of the quartz by the dining room wall. Sent photo to owner of chip in quartz but me. Stein never got back to us. ZERO accountability for their incompetent installers.

When I stated that I was going to make a decision on selecting a contractor by this week Wednesday, the only response was essentially "oh, okay then." So the extent of my experience with Rockwell? Polite, but they didn't keep their appointment and were not willing to fight for my business after they canceled on me for the nebulous reason of "something's come up." That obviously worried me; what if "something comes up" during the actual build of my deck? Will Rockwood need to reschedule the completion of the project for a later time? All questions I shouldn't have to ask myself. Needless to say, I will be selecting a different contractor.
