Their décor is that old timey Yukon miner vibe that has not changed for all these decades; after all, it is insider Miner's Landing. Service is friendly, especially when they are not overwhelmed. The service was warm when I walked in and had that local casual vibe you want when you happen to just walk in for a low-level interaction. They had a decent barista station setup and would provide a nice cup of chai latte you really need when it's freezing outside. The rating of 5 star isn't based on a competitive analysis to the hippest and newest cafe on the block, but a local casual spot only locals go to.
