Really good still, but something about Seattle associates and not being friendly. This place is definitely in that category. It was better here when you could add coconut flakes and agave syrup yourself at the end!

This was my first time ordering from here, and unfortunately, I found a hard piece of black plastic in my açaí bowl. It was a really disappointing and unsettling experience, especially for a first impression. I tried reaching out to the location, but the contact form on their website doesn't work, and no one answered the phone. I wanted to give them a chance to address it, but with no response, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable ordering again.

Our family loves smoothies so we popped over to Verve after lunch for a healthy dessert. The place is a little hard to find. You won't see it from the road, and it's tucked near the entrance of an apartment building. Once you go inside- it's a bit underwhelming. Perhaps if the employees were a bit friendlier, it could've helped the vibe. One acted as if she'd never seen a child before. There's no seating which isn't a big deal but there was certainly room for some. The Green Bee drink took some getting used to -- was very sour at first but then really began to enjoy it. There's room for improvement but glad this exists for the neighborhood.

I've only ever gotten takeout from here, so my review is limited to the specific experience of ordering online and picking up to go. The ordering process was easy, and all four bowls in our order were accurately prepared. The portions were great, and the fruit was fresh. I'd say they were on par with/slightly above the quality of Jamba Juice bowls, with a little more variety. I do love that you can customize toppings - this puts Verve at the top of my list of Seattle juice/smoothie spots.

I used to really enjoy this place 6 years ago. When I had an açaí craving last weekend, I visited and was extremely disappointed. I got the regular sized Verve Bowl for $12.50 (pretty standard price for an açaí bowl). The açaí was grainy, the strawberries and blueberries were sour, and the honey didn't pair well at all. I'd much rather get the Açaí Primo from Jamba Juice (essentially the same as the Verve Bowl) for $11. Or even the Sambazon Açaí Bowls from AmazonFresh... Lastly, the staff wasn't friendly or welcoming. They didn't acknowledge customers entering or leaving the store. I also noticed them passing judgmental looks at their customers that did nothing to deserve it... This is an issue that needs to be brought up to management.

In the center of Capitol Hill! If you've never been, it might be a bit confusing to get to. Verve Bowls is located in a small plaza within an apartment community (you have to go through the gates next to the piroshky bakery). Very small shop, we got there and it was very hot! (I was sweating - no AC maybe? So we took our bowls outside to eat). We were greeted upon arrival but the cashier didn't say anything after that so it was very awkward while we decided what we wanted to order (it was our first time). Anyways, I got the "Berry Yum" bowl which was an acai base with blueberries, bananas, strawberries, almond milk and granola. Super yummy! Would definitely go again. I got the regular size and thought it was a good portion! Felt super light after eating but was still filling enough. I would come back and try the rest of the bowls :)

This hits the spot when you have an açaí bowl craving and I was impressed with their large menu! I tried the Blue spirulina mango/pineapple bowl and it was good, but I expected it to be better because of the price of these bowls. Unfortunately accessibility-wise given the location it's tough to find a parking spot that's decent. Keep in mind there's no dine in seating but there are some patio tables and chairs outside!

I'm a big fan of Verve Bowls! Their açaí bowls are amazing, and I've gone multiple times because they're the perfect way to start the day. Great breakfast options, especially if you have a sweet tooth. Fresh ingredients and satisfying every time!

I absolutely loved this place, the açaí bowl was absolutely delicious although I personally thought it was a little expensive. The workers there are so kind and sweet, super welcoming. The place was clean and friendly as well!

I'm a California girl so I miss my acai bowls. I noticed that there are not many acai bowl options in Seattle so I was excited to come here to try it out! LOCATION & PARKING // This place is in Capitol Hill but the actual cafe is extremely hidden. If you don't look for the sandwich board outside, you might walk past it. It's in between some modern buildings. There isn't a ton of parking here as it's Capitol Hill but do what you will with that. FOOD // I got the BERRY YUM. It's an acai bowl with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and house-made almond milk and topped with granola, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. It's your standard acai bowl and I thought this place did a great job making it. It's extremely refreshing, the portion is decent-sized, and it's not too sweet or tart. I saw that they have extra honey on the side if you want to add it but it was fine for me. AMBIANCE // The ambiance here is quite modern, trendy, hipster, and quaint. I can see people coming here to casually catch up with a small (I don't recommend bringing a huge group here) group of friends or getting some work done/reading. Being in here is relaxing and calming. SERVICE // The staff here are extremely friendly! They answered our questions about the different types of bowls and made recommendations that made sense. OVERALL // 4.0 stars If I was craving another acai bowl, I'd consider coming back here! It's a cute spot.

Quick service, tasty treat. No ambience and kind of pricey, but that's typical of Seattle.

Best Açaí Bowls I've ever had. If I could eat one everyday I would. Organic fresh fruit & the best toppings too.

Unfortunately, neither one was for me, but I can definitely see why they're popular with younger customers. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very fast with preparing the drinks. Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.

The bread surprised me as being a new type of sandwich bread - it was really crispy, and the grill marks were pretty cool to see. The crunch on it was actually quite nice. Honestly was very surprised the bread was this good. The steak was decent enough. Nothing special, but also they don't do the thing where they call it a steak sandwich or bowl and give you a few pieces of skirt steak. The meat was actually spread apart well throughout the sandwich. The cheese and sauces gave this a good moisture level to prevent it from being too dry. This contributed to the pretty good taste Only issue is the price - it's quite a small sandwich, and yet you're paying 15 bucks for it. That's just insane prices. This is hardly filling enough for a single person for lunch. Overall, I was expecting this to be expensive and bad, and at least it was just expensive. 7.5/10
