The first thing I noticed was the beautiful wood paneling along the walls. They had decorated the place up for Christmas and it looked quite festive! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. They were able to accommodate our preferences such as vegan and gluten free. I highly recommend the Ka Cashew which was particularly delicious. The Thai Tea was refreshing. The only constructive feedback I have is about wait times. It took a while to seat us and get our orders and food. I'll preface my review by saying: I've never dined in here. I've only done pickup or delivery. That being said: THE FOOD HERE IS DELICIOUS! The authenticity is there. I've tried multiple dishes from here including certain curries and they get it right every single time man. They haven't failed yet. Popped in for a quick bite and had great service as always. This time we got. Pad Thai with chicken: 5/5. Pad krapraw: 5/5. Served with jasmine rice and has the right ratio of chicken to peppers (something that other places don't get right. Sweet tea: 5/5 At this point we've tried most of the menu. The only thing preventing a 5 is nit picky. I like my Pad Thai to be Thai Spicy with a lime. It was great but I like it even more spicy and I missed the lime. Staff very prompt and accommodating. Summer Rolls were very good. Decor inside is amazing. Reminds me of the temples I have seen in and around Bangkok. Definitely worth a second visit. The dishes I saw walking by looked on point. This place is great. We came in around 4:00PM and it was pretty empty which surprises me because it's a great place. The waiters were great, my water never went close to halfway empty, they kept refilling asap. Food came out in maybe ~10 minutes. If you can handle spicy, like burning spicy, the spice level 4+ is good for you. If you can't handle burning spicy stick to 3 and below spice level. Food was great! The pad Thai was great. Unfortunately the portion size was so small in comparison to price. $15 for the pad Thai and I was still hungry after i ate it. They have literally increased the price significantly while cutting portions in half. I'll never eat there again. read more

All the stars!! TLDR- Great food, Great service, Great prices. My favorite restaurant in Gastonia!! We come here often, the wait staff knows our names, our orders by heart and they take care to make sure we are well satisfied with each visit. I've never had nor seen poor customer service here. I've never had to ask for a refill. My drink never gets low enough for me to think to ask. The portions are large and the value for the price is wonderful. We like to try different sushi rolls each time and the ones we didn't care just weren't matching our taste buds that day! A few of our favorite dishes are the pad see ew with chicken, nam prig pow with chicken and shrimp. The red and green curry, I love their spring rolls as well as the dumplings!! They both have so much flavor!! My favorite sushi roll so far is the Baja roll! It's just spicy enough! I also really enjoy the tempura shrimp, it's a classic! I think so far the only sushi we haven't liked enough to try again was the lava rock roll. Though it is beautiful in presentation. I'm really just not an eel fan! The facade is plain and very unassuming. Inside is a completely different world! The Thai wood panels are works of art, perfect to gaze on and take in while waiting for the food. Service was friendly and prompt. The shrimp summer rolls are very tasty! Good sized shrimp and just enough herbs to make it refreshing. The Larb Ka was good; the fish sauce gave the dish a little savory "funk" that we enjoyed very much. The Sea side roll with hamachi was not the best sushi I've ever had, but a little dip in soy sauce did some good. My husband's pork pad Thai gave me entree envy, but my Red curry was very tasty. The curry had just enough spice to make it flavorful, but not enough to make it painful (I'm sure they could bump up the spice upon request!) As soon as I heard mango sticky rice was available for dessert, I had to get it! The mango was perfectly ripe, sweet and tender and the sticky rice was nice and chewy. My husband got the fried bananas, which were generously coated in panko crumbs, giving them a great crispy texture with the soft and sweet banana in the middle. Very disappointing. The ambiance is cool but everything I tried was meh at best. I got the Thai tea and that was... watery. Like they cut the cream with water before making the tea. Then my $10 squid tempura came out and there were like 6 pieces of squid and 10 pieces of deep fried vegetables(???) even though it doesn't say it comes with veggies on the menu so that felt like a scam. For my entree I got basil fried rice. The rice was barely even fried and yet the egg was overcooked. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more
