I'm Thai Filipino and I am particular about my flavors always looking for moms cooking when I'm away from home, my moms Thai so I ordered the pla swarm ros the fried fish with the Thai sauce on top with side of white rice.... Kitchen Mae King replaced Thai House and I must say, I am quite pleased. I ordered the Massaman curry with chicken. The serving was huge! They were able to give me extra peanuts and I also ordered brown rice. This was some of the best Massaman curry I have ever tasted. read more

Edited review... The last time I went to eat lunch, they seemingly changed their prices. It was lunch time and we were given only dinner menus, so I assumed they no longer offered a lunch menu. The prices on the menu were very expensive. Most dishes were $20+, but some were in the $13 range. Yelp has the menu posted and lists a lunch menu at prices around $10 (if they do still have lunch menus, that's fairly reasonable). In the moment, seeing mostly $20+ dollar dishes, we walked out and ate somewhere else. That's just too expensive for lunch time. I'm keeping the 4 star review because we didn't actually eat there on that visit. If they had a lunch menu, that's what they should have given us. read more

I have ordered food from here on a delivery app in the past and it was excellent. Today I went for a birthday dinner and it completely exceeded expectations. The sushi is absolutely incredible. Overall some good and not so good things. We ordered DoorDash which was easy. Pad Thai with chicken had good flavor but there was barely any chicken on it, maybe 5 small pieces (one bite each). Also got the yellow curry, same mostly potato's and not a ton of chicken. The flavor was good but little watery. Veggie spring rolls I don't recommend, they were terrible mushy inside with no flavor. Overall good but the lack of protein was disappointing. I also asked to add squash to the dishes and they ignored. read more

Placed an order online because it said it was open and when I drove up the place was under construction.. I tried calling multiple times to cancel the already paid for order but no one would pick up .. a few mins later it says it's ready for pick up but the restaurant was clearly closed and no one was inside. Last night we decided to take some friends to our favorite local Thai place. We've been a few times and the food has always been delicious. I hadn't been back in a while so before we arrived I decided to look at the recent yelp reviews. I was shocked to find the restaurant had dropped to 2.5 stars. I panicked. I was debating whether or not to take my friends here. We were a large group and would probably have a difficult time finding another place at that hour. We sat down and were greeted by a very polite and handsome waiter. We ordered our usual. Chicken pad Thai (Thai style) and a couple of new things we wanted to try. I'm happy to say everything came out fast, hot,fresh, and very flavorful! All our friends were very impressed with how delicious everything was. I'm so glad we decided to take a chance and stay. We thought going to Kitchen Mae Kong was worth a shot based on the reviews. It was a mistake. We ordered our entrees and they forgot to bring some of our entrees out. We politely ask a few times and after 45 minutes of waiting was gave up and asked for the bill for the few dishes they actually brought out. They were not too busy and not understaffed. This was my third time. I was a regular at Thai House, at least every 2 weeks for 5 years. My first experience, not great. Service and food. Second time, better. Service was fine, food was not. Third time, both were fantastic. I actually own a couple of restaurants myself. You need to give a restaurant some time. It is very difficult to get the staff and the service down immediately. It takes a few months to get good people and to develop people. I had the Pad Kapraw, witch is traditional Thai Basil. For appetizer had the Tom Yom soup. Both were fantastic. My take out delivery food was FANTASTIC. It is legitimately the best Thai food I've ever had. My delivery was set to arrive at 8:30 and although it arrived at 9:10 my food was hot and DELICIOUS. Everything was packaged nicely and with a the works you need, my driver was super friendly and let me know about the delay, and I'm honestly happy about the delay because hopefully that means their to-go orders were just super busy!
