We have a fantastic experience with Kitchen Solutions for our whole-house renovation. To be honest, with their company name we were hesitant to use them to do an entire home remodel, but they proved capable of finishing all areas quickly and flexibly. The company uses a 'standard' offering which enables them to walk you through design, the materials selection, and purchasing within their package of work; however, we had some specific thoughts in mind and we went our own way with materials. In the end, we estimate to have saved about $25,000 off the bid from the next closest contractor, and about $40,000 off of the average of the 6 we asked for bids. We took down two supporting walls, completely updated the kitchen, renovated the fireplace and stairway, sealed a door upstairs and added another, significantly upsized our master bath and master closet, and renovated the other two bathrooms, electric and plumbing upgrades, as well as completing with plank flooring throughout. Despite us constantly adding 'little' tasks, they finished within a couple weeks of their very aggressive completion schedule. Great job of getting us in within the window we needed to move out of our old place. No contractor is perfect, and while they missed a few small things along the way, they've come back to honor their warranty and make a number of minor repairs, and even fixed a couple things that ended up not being their fault. Perhaps most importantly for us: they communicate and show up when they say they will, which obviously reduces the stress of a crazy time anyway. We hired kitchen solutions to do our full kitchen remodel in January 2024. After getting a few estimates from different contractors, we decided to go with Kitchen Solutions because of Bryce. When he met with us for the estimate, he created a layout design and had good ideas for our small kitchen. Our home was built in 1940 so we had a few concerns and restrictions with the layout. He helped us pick out the material, and guided us to the best choices for our daily kitchen usage. We cook a lot and wanted something beautiful but practical and low maintenance. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and attention to detail from design through installation to final finishes that we experienced working with Saul and his team. Our project was started and completed according to the initial schedule agreed upon at contract signing and I was kept informed of all planned crew arrivals and activities for each week. It was so refreshing to experience a remodeling project with little to no surprises along the way where you actually like and respect those working in your home. Our project included a complete demolition and remodel of our primary bathroom, fireplace removal and restoration in our primary bedroom, and the remodel of our downstairs guest bath. Along the way, anticipated repairs and restorations were completed to bring everything back to like-new condition in preparation for the new design and finishes. My design plans came to life each day as they built my dream bathrooms and created the new beautiful spaces in my home. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work and quick turn around we received from Saul and his company. Saul provided a 3D floor plan of our new design on the spot when he came out to bid the job. We received an itemized estimate that broke down all of the costs so I could easily see what we were paying for. He also brought samples of the counters, cabinets and flooring during the consult which were all built into the bid. Once we signed, they were able to start work almost immediately, within the next few days. They had originally quoted a turn time of 4 to 6 weeks, but amazingly got the job done in only 3!! Saul's team was reliable, professional, and they only used their own employees for all of the work that was done in our home. Any questions or minor changes that came up during the job were addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. We recently had our kitchen and living room remodeled by Kitchen Solutions. They increased the size of our kitchen and improved the layout so there is more counter and cabinet space and a better flow for use. Bryce was our sales/design consultant and helped us through the process of design and all the details that go with redoing an entire kitchen. The construction team was very professional, skilled, and took care in their work to get all the details just the way we wanted them! This was our first experience with a remodel and I can honestly say it was a good one! Jay and Sue R, Pleasanton We hired Kitchen Solutions to: - replace/redesign and install new kitchen - paint the downstairs - replace all downstairs flooring During the work we had: - 2 design consultants - 1 construction point-of-contact - 3 or 4 painters - 1 stone backsplash guy - 2 countertop guys - 3 or 4 floor guys - 2 main construction guys Each different team was fast, friendly and did amazing work. What we were especially impressed with was that several times, workers did "what was right" as opposed to "exactly what they were asked to do". For example, they were painting all of the downstairs, but no one explicitly said to repaint the fireplace (which was white before and the ceiling was being painted white). So they came up and suggested that the fireplace should be painted too. because "it made sense". This "just make it right" philosophy came into play several times. As with any big project, we came up with several "change orders" along the way; for example, they suggested and we agreed that the pocorn ceilings should be removed. For each change that was asked for, they priced and seemingly seemlessly added it into the workflow. We can't do a review without mentioning Oscar; he was our main, general purpose construction guy. He put in the cabinets, did the electrical, did some plumbing and whatever else was needed. Oscar was friendly, answered all our questions and was a stickler for details. The very few things we pointed out (at the very end of the project), he would respond with something like "Well, of course we should fix that" ... and off he went to do just that. I guess the most telling review is: Practically every day since the bulk of the work was done, my wife would say "I love my kitchen!". Excellent work, really good price (I think), friendly, professional workers, finished about when they said. We would give them a 7 out of 5 rating if we could :-) read more

I found kitchen solutions to be a great company. I initially started working with greg. Really nice guy got the ball rolling. When I started asking more specific questions Saul. The owner and licensed contractor made himself readily available . He met with me at my house . We went over designs . He took measurements , and we Revisited the budget to make sure it worked for both of us. He was incredibly responsive , always got back to me within 24 hours or less and was prompt when we set a time to meet. Kitchen Solutions is very responsive and was able to meet with us to discuss our project quickly. I would warn that although they claim to be custom cabinet and kitchen designers, they don't have much to offer in these areas. The cabinet selection they offered me was one type of wood and a very odd selection of stains. The designer was able to use a computer program, but then had the owner and construction manager override some of her choices since they wouldn't work. They did not offer any of the nice upgrades that one can get for kitchen cabinets these days--no inserts for the drawers, no glass options until I asked, no slide outs. So don't expect bells and whistles. The construction went well although they spent several periods not working on our project for unclear reasons. There were a few issues with following the plans as drawn and cabinets that were not as specified and had to be redone, but they did complete everything per our requests. read more
