Stumbled upon this place and I wanted something very refreshing so I decided to walk in. The worker told me their seasonal drink is a mango Matcha, which is very tropical with coconut flakes on top so that's exactly what I got along with a serves swirl. Minutes later, both were ready and wow. The soft serve was very delicious, it was not too sweet at all and it had a dusted Matcha powder on top, which gave it a very nice earthy flavor. The mango Matcha, which is a seasonal drink was extremely delicious. They told me that the mango purée is made in house and it really did taste like homemade. I'll definitely be back again soon. Also loved all the stickers and artwork all around the place.

Reminder to my future self, I do not like the Matcha Blueberry and I like the Matcha Rose Latte instead. The Matcha Blueberry does not taste good. It tastes like blueberry but not too sweet (natural sweetness only). The Matcha Rose Latte was floral and cream. Recommend to not get the rose petal since they get soggy and get in the way.

It costed around $8 for a 24oz matcha latte, which I should have listened to to my instinct and ordered a 16oz so I didn't have to throw away. Their matcha quality wasn't great and the drink was sweetened with syrups or somethings that wasn't natural, which gave me a bad feeling in the throat whenever I took a sip. I passed by them multiple times and saw a line but on a weekday morning, it was empty. Kind of confused on why a matcha place in Little Tokyo could be this disappointing. The bathroom wasn't for public use as well. The staff was nice showing me where to go though it was far so I didn't go.

Yummy drinks! Very nice for matcha enjoyers who know how good matchas taste :). The service is really good as you can get milk alternatives at no cost and alter it to your needs! Music is very mellow, making it nice to converse without worries.

Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 7/10 my friend got a Matcha swirl ice cream and I got a Matcha Blondie personally the Matcha Blondie wasn't that good but the Matcha swirl was amazing because the flavor of the Matcha is so deep that that you know you're having a genuine Matcha experience. Please note that the parking because it's LA is very difficult, but if you're really craving good Matcha, I really recommend this place because even though I didn't get the Matcha latte I can tell that their Matcha latte or just their Matcha in general is phenomenal.

Stumbled upon Midori Matcha Cafe during a day outing in Little Tokyo. There was another similar matcha cafe nearby that seemed more popular but I picked Midori because they had my favorite, hojicha soft serve. I imagine this place gets busy sometimes but we thankfully strolled in and were able to order immediately. Staff were kind and welcoming and we got our ice cream quickly. Rich hojicha flavor in the ice cream, and I love that they dust hojicha powder on the top to finish. Very solid spot, I'd come in agan to try the drinks if I lived nearby!

Good portion size and lots of flavor in the soft serve, while not being overly sweet. Yummy :D

This matcha place was amazing. I've actually never been to a real matcha spot before, so this was new territory for me. Yes, you can get matcha at a coffee shop, but it just hits different when you go somewhere that actually specializes in matcha. I went in planning to get a drink and somehow walked out with the dual soft serve cup instead. Zero regrets. It tasted super earthy, like real matcha, not overly sweet or fake. Service was quick, everyone was really nice, and while it's a bit on the pricey side... I mean, it's matcha. That's the tax. I genuinely loved it and will 100% be back for more.

I've came here before in the past. Their lattes and matcha powder have been decently good. However this time, I tried the float and it was a latte with oat milk and vanilla ice cream. As you can see in the photo, the drink was barely filled. It seemed like a lot of ice was put into the drink. So all this for $8? Personally, the service was good but I would expect the drink to be filled with the actual drink and not majority of it being ice.

Nice small place. The matcha ice cream was my favorite one, fast service and friendly

I had a craving for matcha with my date and we decided to stop by Little Tokyo and try this place out. It was at 5pm so the cafe was very quiet. Music was peaceful and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even brought our drinks to us since it was so slow. They offered to make any adjustments to the drink after they brought it to us. The strawberry matchas were amazing. We wanted to try the blueberry but they were unfortunately out of it. The Matcha blondie was delicious and paired perfectly with our drinks. We will be coming back to try the other types of matcha they have.

Pricier and icier than Tea Master but the hours are much better. There's a lot of soft serve competition in this area and probably wouldn't be my first choice but I'd be fine to visit as well.

My family and I were walking around Little Tokyo looking for ice cream when this spot popped up on Google Maps. We initially came in just for the soft serve and were pleasantly surprised by how rich both the matcha and hojicha flavors were! Since we knew we'd be sitting in LA traffic on the way home, we decided to grab a few lattes to go as well. I got the hojicha latte with oat milk, and it had a great roasty/chocolatey taste to it which is exactly what I look for in a good hojicha. This place is more of grab and go type spot when it's busy, but there is some bar seating and a table or two if you're lucky enough to get one.

Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft.
