Abbott's is the best local custard chain in America (or at least it's right up there). As for my usual comments on Abbott's: Abbotts/Bill Grays share space like Taco Bell/KFC do in many places. However this location is only Abbott's. There is no Bill Grays. So it's all about the custardito. I know you abb-hor when I go on and on so let me wrap this up. It's one of my "best 5 custards I've ever had." I think I like custard more than ice cream, more than fro yo, less than real gelato. For custard specifically, which is sort of like soft-serve-but-creamier, the best in the country are Leon's in Milwaukee and Nielsen's in Vienna, VA, and then Abbott's in 3rd.
