Average quality, high prices. Their old location was bomb and this one is a dud…read more In my humble opinion, the pompano store rocked. 80% of their items were fair priced and 20% were great bargains! They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

We also miss one of your former employees, Melanie. She was always such a pleasure to see and made every visit feel special. The renovations look fantastic. The music is always enjoyable, the restaurant and restrooms are consistently spotless, and it's obvious that the team takes pride in what they do. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience. Keep doing exactly what you're doing--you've built something truly special.

The only downside is it is a little expensive. The meal pictured in other similar ones we have had with a plate of food is around $15 to $20. However, given the quality and what you would pay at a restaurant it is reasonable, just more than I would expect from a hot food bar. They do a great job with their coffees as well. The barista takes a lot of care in preparing each cup and makes sure the presentation is immaculate.

The parking lot is kinda small, and some spaces are awkward to get out of if you have a bigger car, I found out. The market was easy to spot. It is very clean inside and the prices are great. It is a fruit and vegetable market with a few other things like eggs, some pasta, cheese and other things but it is mostly fruits and vegetables here. I did see one long aisle with bargains. It had products of many kinds of things I didn't expect to find here. You have to bring your own bags. They don't have bags but they have some boxes you can use. If you use your charge card. A convenience charge fee is charge. I think it was 4%. They take cash.

Inside, the counters with fruits and veggies are neatly arranged. Each item has signs nearby with their prices. They have a cold case with some veggies, herbs, juices, and prepared foods. Against the back wall are some boxes and canned/jarred items from Flora (pastas, etc) and Goya and other brands. The counter to pay is up front. You still need to bring your own bags. We took a stroll around. Some prices were outrageous and some were on the mark. You have to know what Publix or Walmart, etc are charging to see if the items are worth their prices. Honey and olive oil etc. etc. that we bought in the old location for 99 cents or $1.99 is now almost $5 or more here. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

99 Cent Farmer's Market - Pompano…read more What an unexpected gem! The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title. If you haven't checked out this place yet, you're missing out. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly they have lots of vegan, vegetarian, and plant-based products! That's another reason why I come here first. I've been to this location quite a few times. The old location was on Atlantic Boulevard and it was called the $.99 market. This location is called the produce spot. You're at the right spot if you're on 150 in Powerline. I don't like to add that they have more registers or more lines available. In the previous location they had multiple registers, but there was only one line. It's still a bit hectic in here, but it's a lot more organized. As for the parking spaces, yeah it's crazy, but it was crazy at the other place, but it's just crazy Lol. But your pockets will thank you. Although I do enjoy the prices some things have changed. Some items have gone up in price, but you have to be observant and a smart shopper. However, their fruits and vegetables are still fairly priced. They do have a lot more refrigerated items and their new fresh herb section is amazing. As for their frozen products, honestly I would say more than 75% of them are priced extremely low. Theyonly a few items that may be a bit higher. In any case, I always come here and check. The atmosphere is a little bit hectic, and I at most days it's very busy and congested but sometimes if you come out just the right time during the week you get out of here with your sleeves intact. Still a great pace still going to find the best deals.
