What a cute cafe! There's not a lot of parking in the lot but there are other spots. There's a decent amount of seating inside on the cafe side. The cafe is so cute, so pretty, and comfortable. To see the cats, you do need to buy a time slot either through a reservation or if you're lucky, an available walk in time. The boba I got was pretty good and I would come back to hang out with the cats. They also have little cat themed snacks you can purchase! I think it's so fun to see them play and hang out with them. I really enjoyed the option to hang out on the cafe side without booking a cat side ticket. They also have merchandise you can purchase that help go towards taking care of the cats. Their little store is super cute and has a lot of cool cat themed items. And you're supporting the cafe with your purchases! Staff was very nice and patient. They were good about cycling the appointments through and helping everyone. My husband and I were passing through Columbus, OH on a road trip and I found this very cute boba tea cafe online! I saw their website recommended reservations to visit with the cats, but we weren't sure what time we were going to be coming by, so I left it up to chance if there would be availability. We arrived in a Sunday around 1:30pm and they didn't have availability until 4:30pm. Oh well, still got some delicious teas and saw the cats through windows! The service was very friendly. The decor is adorable inside the cafe and where the cats are. You can view the cats from a stand-up bar areas, in bubble windows at the booths, or outside with their floor-to-ceiling windows. I got a 24oz Meow-go Passion Fruit Green Tea with bubbles/boba and my husband got the 12oz Catnip. They both are really good! The Meow-go tea has passion fruit seeds in it, and the Catnip tea has real strawberries in it. What I noticed is that the cafe's playlist has explicit tracks, meaning no blockage of curse words. I noticed one or two children around the cafe and with the cats, so that seemed a bit off putting a family-friendly location would have explicit tracks playing. I've been here before for the cat yoga and had an amazing time. The cats were friendly, the litter smell was not overwhelming and the vibe was super cute! Because of this, I told my husband I would love to come back! Today we had a reservation for cat yoga and my husband mistakenly only booked one ticket. Mistakes happen right? No. We asked if our reservation could be moved to another day or even if we could just have a 'store' credit to get boba or whatever. Also no. I reviewed the cancellation policy and from what I saw, the website says "$5 cancellation fee if less than 24 hours." Apparently that's also not the case, that doesn't apply to special events, which you have to click on the reservation to see this, it's not on the main booking page. All this to say, what was a fun outing for some friends and I had now turned into a sour date day and I think I'll stick to goat yoga. The best part of visiting this sweet little cat cafe is seeing how well cared for all of the cats are. Everywhere you looked they had toys, cozy spots to sleep, and plenty of big windows to check out the outside world. The macrons sold here are supplied by Mjomii and are top tier. However, I would be absolutely thrilled if there were a few more options for pastry case items. If you were hoping this was a cat cafe where the cats are just hanging out in the main area, it's not like that. They're in a separate room, $15 for an hour or $10 for 30 minutes. I haven't gone to see the cats yet, but you can see them from outside or through several windows inside the cafe. Baby K was the driving force, of course, and she was a bit disappointed because by the time we got there after school the cats were pretty played out. But you could pet them, and some would play a little. Lots of kittens, super cute. Great setup with toys, towers, etc. Great guidance and advice from staff (the owner maybe was the one in the cat room?) Half an hour was plenty for the two adults; Baby K would have stayed longer. We got drinks outside while we were waiting, and they were pretty good. Also macarons, which were also good, though they are the type with frosting instead of ganache. I've only been here to try a drink but it's such a cute place! The staff is very friendly and patient and the area is divided into two sections. One to spend time with the kitties (adoptable cats from colony cats) and the other if you just want to have snacks and a drinks. The cafe only side has little bubble windows so you can see some of the cat antics next door. I love the decor and just peeking into the cat playroom you can see that the kitties have lots of enrichment toys, towers bed etc. I tried the silver tabby (coconut and taro) and got it hot. Overall the experience was good, but this one seemed to be missing something. Others we have been to had a more cozy feeling and the cats were more friendly. One of my favorite places in Columbus!! Before Kitty Bubble opened, I saw their design plans on their Instagram. It was pastel pink and blue with adorable dreamy, custom-made, cat-themed furniture. When I came here for the first time, I was shocked that it looks almost exactly like those design plans! Even if you only visit the cafe, the decor alone is surreal and adorable - but you can also see the cats through windows without a reservation. I believe they have 20 cats at any given time, which cycle through as they are adopted (yay!) In the cat room, each cat has their own nameplate, featuring a picture and a witty bio describing their personality. As mentioned in other reviews, the cats always have access to a separate room, where they can do their business and get a rest from human interaction. This option for the cats really shows how much Kitty Bubble cares for their cats comfort and choice, and also prevents a smelly cat room. Despite there being less than 20 cats in the room at any given point, there are always plenty left to entertain by their own choice. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you want to come with a group. Spots fill up fast! I also recommend coming earlier in the day if you'd like to play with the cats at their most energetic. But coming later in the day is still a great time, just more relaxed as the cats get tired. As for the menu, they have several very cute cat-themed drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages, macarons, and a sandwich option. You can only eat in the cafe-side, but they can bring your drinks to you in the cat room. I've only tried a beer, a tea drink, and the macarons. The macarons are delicious, and although the tea was a bit sweet for my taste, it was still delicious. Definitely recommend trying these out, especially if you have a sweet tooth. I'd also like to address the rules they have in place because I've seen so many hateful comments: the rules are here for a reason, and they are clearly expressed on the website and upon entering! In addition to being posted on the reservation page online, an employee will give you a run-down of rules and expectations before you are able to enter the cat room. As long as you (and your child) follow these, there will be no issues! I've also been here twice in the presence of rowdy children, and an attendant may indeed remind of rules, but I have never ever seen them be less than kind in addressing these. Being an enforcer of rules always sucks and makes you the bad guy, but I truly believe the employees here do so with tact and always with the best interest of the cats and other guests in mind. TL;DR - This is an adorable, cat-centered cafe with an important cause! And most of the negative reviews are from people who are upset they didn't read their own reservation. Tip: Make a reservation online and ahead of time! They were booked up the whole weekend but we were able to get in on a Monday. The process is easy and explains how the tickets and timeslots work. When you arrive, check in at the cafe counter. They will announce the timeslot, go over rules, and then let people inside. I was a little worried about the amount of people in my timeslot, but the room is quite large and everyone had reasonable space to socialize with the cats. You can bring cafe drinks inside. There are pictures up on the wall of each cat that is up for adoption and an employee is happy to explain the adoption process and give more info on a specific cat's personality. Overall we had a good experience here! As far as special events/offerings, they do paint your pet event that includes time with the cats. It's a fun concept. We stayed in the cafe side as the up charge to play with the kitties for a half hour or hour really didn't fit in with our plans for the day. The cafe americano was a good deal for a 24 ounce coffee. The bubble tea had a lot of different flavors and a hint of carbonation. The popping bubbles helped the flavor tremendously.
