The food is very good and the French Fries were still crispy after the 8 minutes drive back to my place. (I ordered to go) So you that means they were cooked fresh. The potato salad was perfect and the club sandwich was toasted just right and had a lot of flavor. I just think that the inside could be updated a little and when I walked in I told them I had a pickup and gave them my name. They said it'll be ready in a minute then forgot about me and another employee asked me what I was waiting for an apparently the order had been ready for a couple minutes just sitting in the back. But, I'd still go back because the food was good and the people overall had good vibes.

the portion sizes are kinda small for me, but i got two sandwiches at under 20 which is really good pricing for students. Wish they had more sauce in the sandwiches, but that's just a personal preference

Stopped in on our way to OSU. We had a large order and it was ready and waiting for us! They organized the bags perfectly and everyone had the right order. Super yummy and good for its price. Everything on the sandwhich was fresh. The inside is a bit smaller but we took the food to go so no problem! Super nice people!

I stopped by Cornerstone Deli for lunch after searching for sandwich joints on Yelp. It's located right off of High Street in Clintonville. I was able to find a street spot, but there is a small parking lot directly north of the cafe just across Longview. The inside has two dining areas with plenty of seats. The menu has quite the variety -- including both breakfast and lunch. It ranges from bagel sandwiches to deli sandwiches (hot or cold) to chicken or curry rice bowls to sushi. Oh, and they have a build your own salad bar. I opted for the Turkey Reuben -- turkey, swiss, coleslaw and thousand island on marble rye. The sandwich was delicious and only cost $6.99, which was quite the bargain considering chain cafes like Panera are charging $11-13 for sandwiches. Highly recommend trying Cornerstone, and with the huge variety of options you're bound to find something!

A place that offers deli sandwiches and asian fare.... definitely is not what you would expect when walking in. But what an absolute hidden gem! The menu is reasonably priced and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a very laid back and easy going environment. Walk up to the counter, order and you'll receive your food fairly quickly. Parking -- you'll have to find street parking either on high street or one of the side streets. We went the sandwich route this time around but looking forward to coming back and trying the rice bowls and pad thai!

I went here with my partner for lunch. There was a wide variety of options at reasonable prices. Their menu is half American half Asian. They bring the food out to your table. Typical atmosphere. I may be back to try their Asian food but I don't know if I would call this place a hidden gem.

Cornerstone Deli & Cafe, and it's wonderful staff, led by Mr. Song, prepared beautiful and delicious carved turkey and homemade traditional celery sage stuffing on a fresh hoagie bun, served hot, with yummy sides of cranberry sauce and hot turkey gravy. Everyone ( 50 people) ate the sandwiches and raved about how tasty everything was. The Deli also prepared hot fresh coffee in carafes with cups and creamers and other utensils. It was delivered promptly at 1:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day! This lovely dinner made our family celebration so special. Thank you so much!

I've walked by here a ton and it always seems busy. Stopped in today, got a chicken salad sandwich. The meat tasted sharp, like it had gone bad. I didn't finish, threw most of it in the trash.

I can't tell you how many times I've driven past this place and not been in. So, I went it! Cornerstone Deli has an interesting menu that is half sandwiches (both hot and cold) and half sushi and rice bowls. So, technically, you could get a sandwich and bowl of edamame, which I think would be awesome. I ordered a vegetable sushi roll, a veggie egg roll, and some edamame. Yes, there were some in my freezer, but I was feeling hungry and impatient. Anyway, fairly quiet at 11:30 on a Wednesday, but the line grew while I was waiting for my sushi. Note that sushi is made at a different counter than the rest of the food, and will probably come out at a different time and in a different bag. So if you're ordering carry out, make sure you have both bags. The staff don't call you by name or order number, just what you ordered - I was "egg roll and edamame" So if you aren't listening closely, you may miss your order. I got home and popped open the sushi box, and wow! The roll was really big! I ate it and the edamame over 2 days. The veggies were really fresh and the avocado was just perfectly ripe. So enjoyable. The egg roll had a rather lot of peas (?) in it, so while the flavor was really good, it struck me as a little odd. And the soy beans were cooked just right, I must overcook mine, but these were really good. I had my eye on the veggie tempura, so I will for sure be back.

It's a crazy concept (to me) to have sushi available at a deli; however, at Cornerstone Deli - it absolutely works! The sushi station is setup to the left of the deli station and can be easily missed. I only knew about the sushi from the Yelp reviews that I had seen which prompted my visit there. I ordered the Dragon Roll and the Rainbow Roll. Both rolls were super fresh and absolutely delish! You can seriously taste the freshness of all of the ingredients that are put together in the sushi rolls! Yum! My daughter ordered the kids' grilled cheese. The kids' menu is not listed; however, the server advised that the kids' menu consists of grilled cheese or pizza bagel bites. The kids' meals are $4.49 and also come with a bag of chips. We also ordered two bottles of root beer. We love us some root beer in a bottle! While the dining room seems pretty spacious, there are only five tables currently available for seating (due to COVID measures/restrictions). The deli seemed pretty busy while my daughter and I were there and all of the tables were full (we took the last table) - so...many of the customers had to take their sandwiches/sushi to go. I definitely want to return and to check out some of the deli options when we return. I also heard that the Pad Thai was pretty great here too! Who woulda knew?!

Additionally, having had a Goodman's Deli mile high corned beef sandwich when I lived in Cleveland, I had even higher expectations. Their most popular sandwich is the Reuben so I went with that. Katzingers did not meet them. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich I was shocked the line wasn't out the door to place orders before they closed and the dining room had maybe 6 people in it. There were about 6 to go bags on the shelf along with mine. When I mentioned to the cashier that I was surprised it wasn't busier, she said it'll be busier tomorrow. I said the day after St Pat's? No answer. Another not good sign in my mind. When I got home, the wrapped sandwich was bigger than my hand but not very tall. The paper had areas of grease which is a good sign for this sandwich. The corned beef itself was tender but there wasn't as much of it, maybe an inch high and 1/3 of the bread had no corned beef. I also could not taste the thousand island dressing. The rye bread was toasted but pretty soggy. The crust was mostly crunchy. The bread slices were paired upside down putting a narrower side a larger side against each other. There is not enough sauerkraut and it is not very sour. I was given the choice of a dill or garlic pickle but I cannot tell you how it was because they didn't put it in the bag. I expected this sandwich to have so much meat in it, I could eat for multiple days for $18. Again, disappointed. Maybe I should've gotten the deli sized version but paying that much for a sandwich... The inside of the deli is fun and it's obvious it's been around a long time and has been well loved. I wanted to like Katzinger's but since the price and the quality don't match, I cannot.

It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation.
