Huge park with ample parking. They have many pavilions that can be rented out , and the pavilions are easily labeled so you can find it easily for any party. Multiple restrooms , and trash cans next to all pavilions. I do wish there were more playgrounds ,the pavilions next to the playgrounds rent out fast but for large parties that don't need playgrounds this place is great. read more

This is the giant public park for the area. They have 3 different playground equipment set up. It is a bit dated, but still great to play on. There is also a water/splash pad area, basketball courts, and dog park. My kids' favorite part is the big hill in the middle of the park. They just like running up and down that. read more

Kitty Hollow Park is a large (190 acre) park in Missouri City (SW Houston). It features a serene lake, plenty of open fields and playgrounds for kids, and a cutely named Bark Park (Dog Park) for dogs. The park features a long paved trail that takes you through all of the attractions. The trail was marked with distance points. Our favorite part of the park was the manmade lake. We visited on a cooler winter day, so there weren't many people around. The lake was very quiet and relaxing. Near the lake, is a small hill with a cute gazebo to sit at and enjoy the view. Near the Bark Park towards the far end of the park is the DeWalt Heritage Center, a historic plantation house hosting tours and events on Sundays once a month. There is also a longer trail leading out from Kitty Hollow Park called the Vicksburg Walking Trail. Unfortunately, there's little information about the length of this trail online. Once we walk this trail, we'll update with distance/length of time. One last thing to note, is that if it's rained recently, the open fields may be a little muddy. read more

This park has a water park area for kids, which is always a plus since I have a 1 year old that LOVES water. We went here randomly just to find a trail to walk around in but once we saw the water area, we never made it around the rest of the park. Close to Sienna Plantation and with easy access from Hwy 6, this is a nice community park. I mostly go to the dog park located at the very back. They have two sections: small dogs and large breeds. Since I have two small dogs, most of my time is spent in the small dog section - although, we have occasionally moved over to use the large dog area. Both dog parks have a covered area for the Owners to sit in shade with picnic tables. There are bag dispensers in multiple locations for easy clean up of your fur baby. Both sides have a water feature, although my dogs much prefer the larger swim pond on the large dog side since it's very small and muddy on the small dog section. Both parks have a foot worn path around the park for both humans and pups to take a walk and get some exercise - often happens in a group setting so you get to know the other owners. And, just outside the fenced dog parks they have two dog bath stations so you can rinse off your fur babies before loading them up to bring home. This is a good, community dog park ! read more

First time here! Very big dog park compare to the one we use to go by west park! There's a pond for the dogs. One side for big dogs and one for small dogs. You can walk while your dogs run free without worrying they will run away. This park is huge! Plenty of space to host a party. Will def make this our new spot to come out and walk. Great dog parks at Kitty Hollow! One is for small dogs and the other is for big dogs. Both have a pond. There are trash cans with poop bags that you can use. Surprisingly, I did not see any poop piles when I last went. Parking is plentiful. There are multiple playgrounds for the kids. You can use one of the grills there to barbecue. read more

Kitty Hollow is my childhood. I recently came back after at least 7 years. Nothing has changed about this place, which means there's still lots of fun to be had. Large, covered areas with grills at each station. We spotted an alligator in the lake. And of course the single hill, probably the highest point in all of Missouri City/Sugar Land. I'm itching my arms and legs now because I rolled down it -- I'm an adult now. A lot of open space for sports/games. Playgrounds, basketball courts, and benches are plentiful. The best part about Kitty Hollow is that, even though neighborhoods and small businesses have sprouted in the area, you still feel secluded out there. You can say, "Hey, let's spend the afternoon at Kitty Hollow Park" and no one will object with, "Let's just go in the backyard." read more

This is a great park for everyone (dogs, kids, adults). There are multiple play grounds scattered throughout the park and plenty of benches and gazebos for family gatherings or picnics. I love how big the park is because there is so much grass and the lovely pond/lake in the middle is beautiful and apparently great for fishing (as I have many people fishing before). There is a dog park at the end of the park; one side for big dogs and one side for small dogs. Each side of the dog park has a small pond for the doggos to wade in and some benches for people to sit. I have not been to the small dog area so I can't say what it's like over there, but the big dog side has an area where you can train your dog (poles, see saw, etc). One time I saw a couple of people take a corgi to the training area and had a full on photoshoot so I guess this is a good place for dog photoshoots, too. There is also a gravel path inside the dog park, which is great for a nice stroll or for a run/jog if you want to work out while your companion socialize. The only complaint I have with the dog park is that it is very bare as there are no trees or bushes within the park and there are no other fun dog park amenities that I have seen at other dog parks for the pups. The park can get very busy during the afternoon, but there are still plenty of parking space. You can always park near the dog park and walk into the park or find more parking near the historic "plantation house". Overall, this is a beautiful park and has so much space for so many things. This is probably the biggest park within the Fresno/Sienna area and the closest dog park around. The only downside is the park can get muddy and slightly flooded when it rains hard because the elevation is so low. read more

I absolutely love taking my dog to the dog park here! There's a section for smaller dogs and larger dogs which is always helpful. My pup loves playing fetch here because there's so much space for him to roam free. It also has a few of those dog show type activities like a tunnel and in and out flags which is fun and challenging. It also has a huge lake for dogs to swim, too! So glad to have this park so close by! read more

Dog park review: Large dog side is awesome size. I like that both sides have a pond and covered seating. I wish their were trees. Gravel walking path and is nice even after it has rained. Poop bags and trashcans are supplied. There is a hose off station. There are some spots in the fence that need to be repaired..I would not bring a small escape artist until those are fixed. Kitty Hollow is my neighborhood park. My only knock on it is I have to drive to get there, but a couple of neighborhoods and the MUD are getting together to build a jogging trail to get to the park on foot from the surrounding neighborhoods. Last I heard the construction will begin either in 2014 or 2015. While it's not as nice as Oyster Creek, there are a bunch of picnic ramadas [in local parlance, pavillions] (call Fort Bend County to reserve them), a couple of playgrounds, a lake (don't swim in it, it has gators), lots of open space, and now a dog park. There are also 2 jogging trails that are marked for distance. The dog park is split up into 2 sections for small and large dogs; both have a pond where the dogs can safely swim. There's also a dog wash area. Bring your own towels unless you want your car smelling like your pooch. Bring your family, bring your pups, and if you see an alligator, just let them be. read more

Overall i highly recommend. Very large, lots of amenities including fishing. Nice covered picnic tables with bar b que pits furnished and even an old historical home. Open Sundays 1-4. It's never very crowded and easy access off highway 6. However; in the back of park where the actual dog park itself is located, there are often young people smoking in their cars, late in the afternoon. Loitering. On one occassion they were smoking in the lg dog park itsself. Yes, i mean pot. The Agility course had not been maintained sadly, as my border collie loves the agility course at Sugar Land dog park. All in all due to its now close proximity to our new home it's well worth the shorter drive. And i have not endured the several pit bull mixes and other aggressive dogs as i did at Sugar Land. Lastly, they too have the dog wash,self service stalls free. But no Hand Dryer in port o potties to Blow Dry your pet as in SL! And u won't find left over high dollar dog shampoo either as in SL! I do like the family atmosphere at the family's and kids play area in front of park. read more

I just wanted to say that this is a nice massive park with loads of sitting areas, bbq grills, and a small fishing pier...but there are sometimes these "thugs" hanging around. Mo city will be Mo city though. Not the best family friendly place. Beware of the Gators and occasionally snakes. read more

This is a review of the handicapped playground. While I appreciate the effort to provide a handicapped playground it's not really sufficient. There is a wheelchair ramp that gets you halfway up, but all the activities, like the slides, you either have to go up five more stairs or across a shaky drawbridge. The handicapped swings have no straps or lap bars. The mulch is 6 inches lower than it was when They designed it. This is apparent because they actually have a height measuring stick which puts me under 5 feet tall. This is a problem since the kids have to fall off at the end of the slide to reach the ground. The bottom of the slide, is a metal post, but nothing protect your kid from hitting their head as they fall the extra 6". Lastly the equipment is rusting, making a fall prone kid even more prone to catching tetanus. read more

I LOVE this dog park! I haven't been to the other side of the park but the dog park is 10/10. All the dogs are so nice and the people are so friendly. There's a really cool little man made pond that stays clean where the dogs can jump in for a swim. I like that there's a walking trail inside the park as well so you can get your steps in while your dog plays. It's literally so huge so there's so much running space. They have a little obstacle course to train as well. I also love that there's lots of seating around the park and if you have a small dog, no worries! They have a separate dog park for small dogs too! This is the nicest dog park I've ever been to and want to go everyday!! read more

This is a great park for running, bbq-ing, picnicking, meditating, yoga or just for hanging out in general. They have a paved walking trail, along with plenty of grasslands. There is a cute fishing pier perfect for looking at the water or for mock fishing. There is a really really really big hill and you can challenge yourself by climbing up and down it. That hill is great cardio. This park has plenty of covered picnic tables and bbq pits. The downside to this park is there's always a family or people monopolizing the tables on the weekend. Kids birthday parties and family barbecues can get really out of hand and that leaves little area for you to enjoy. During the week it's a great park to work out or get away from the hectic stress of your day. This park is vast and sometimes you can see deer, ducks and even alligators. read more

Went to the dog park on January 31, 2021. Using the small dog side and someone brought in a big pit bull. It was playful but when it charged at our little dog he growled and the situation changes quickly. We had to pick up our 10 pound dog and keep it away from the pit while it jumps up and nipped at our little dog my wife was holding. It was seriously close to being out of control. The dogs owner acted as if we were the cause. Total moron. Do not bring your dog if you can't control it. Use the appropriate side for the size of your pet. read more

This park is very spacious, forested, and huge. On good days you can see some gators swimming around the lake, and deer galloping around the trees. I've also seen plenty of turtles and armadillos. This place boasts quite a number of playgrounds for the kids. My kids loving racing up the hill to the gazebo overlooking the lake. There are also large grass fields, decent sized pavilions/picnic shelters for BBQ, and a very good running trail with distance markers. If you go toward the back of the park, there is a trail leading to a very serene and shaded area, with a couple benches. A great place to meditate, pray, read, or just appreciate God's creation. We just went to Kitty Hollow this past weekend, and saw they built a new brightly colored splash pad! Welcome addition, especially as some of the other structures at the park are not well maintained (e.g., toddler playground toward the end). The toddler playground has been overgrown with weeds, is littered with fire ants, and the equipment is substandard and broken. For example, there used to be a play bridge connecting two ends of the playground structure, but now it is gone - and all there is a gaping hole. There's no way for the kids to come down except to go back down the steps they walked up. I've also seen some of the plastic pieces cracked or broken, with some sharp ends protruding out. This presents a safety hazard, and this hasn't been fixed in the months that I've visited this park. This maintenance issue is something that keeps me from making this is a 2nd or a 3rd choice - we usually go to the Riverstone Park or Oyster Creek instead. #Yelp100Challenge2016 read more

This is a large, but muddy park. I believe they have some drainage issues as there was water everywhere. The restrooms were well stocked and clean, but you can't see as the lighting is almost non-existent. That is a safety issue for me. There are plenty of pavilions, parking, and trash cans. read more
