Heard live music and popped in for a drink and snack. We got the chips with trio dip, with the salsa but asked for double guac instead of the queso (didn't want to eat cheese). The portion of chips was a nice size to share with two (or even more) people. The guac was smooth and the salsa had a nice spiciness to it. It's very pleasant sitting outside. The music was nice and the crowd was enjoying it. They stopped playing at 7:00 pm, which I thought was a bit early. After the music ended, people started to leave. The Staff were pleasant. Might have considered having more to eat, but virtually everything on the menu sounds like it's fried or blackened. I'm not complaining, it's just an observation. I can't speak for the food as I only grabbed a latte to go. It looked like such a cute spot from the outside on the boardwalk. We were walking and I was trying to find somewhere to grab a coffee on our morning walk. I didn't realize this was attached to one of the hotels on the boardwalk. It was definitely hotel tasting - pretty sure it was a mix that came out of a package versus actual espresso. The price wasn't bad I just wish I had known what I was going to be paying for but rookie mistake! I do love their boardwalk bar concept though. Very nice view. They had also tried to charge me for 2 lattes when I only ordered 1 but it was corrected. I've had worse for sure but probably would not try again. read more

We ate inside the restaurant overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. We started with the chips trio. There was a delay in getting our appetizer. We asked ur server and she checked with the kitchen. It was brought right out. It had guacamole, pico and mango salsas. We had the smash burger tacos which came with tortilla chips and pico. It was good but not amazing. We also had the Caesar salad- which was huge and favorable. One in our party for the coconut chicken appetizer as their meal. It was a big portion and had great flavor. The location is great but the breakfast and coffee were disappointing. Server was slow and it seemed the manager had to be behind her in getting everything including fork and knives for us. I had to also ask her for my coffee. The cappucino that my significant other ordered was served and I sat there eating for the coffee. Then I decided to get to get the servers attention. I understand she's a j1 student. She was nice but no, we waited and if it wasn't for the attentive manager or assistant manager- we would have been sitting for over an hour. Get there early bc the bar tables in the front were taken and we got there around 815am for breakfast. I visited this place for lunch and was highly unimpressed. Even though it was pretty empty I waited to be sat (as the sign said) while the staff BSd by the bar. I finally see a young man approaching thinking has was coming to seat me but as I saw him ignoring and walking past me I asked if it was seat yourself? This guy mumbles something waves his hand at me and sits down with another seated couple to discuss their home country(?). Eventually I was seated but took another 20 minutes for my drink order to be taken. Weary of this place I just ordered some steamed shrimp and a draft. The small 21/25 per lb shrimp came out another 15 minutes later. No shells on them (cheap frozen?), no butter (as on the menu) and a thimble of lame over sweet cocktail sauce (I asked for 2x) arrived. Still without my draft I eventually got the servers attention and she ran off only then to check on my drink. 10 minutes later I was told that the beer ran out and they "took so much time trying to decide what to do."! Uh, maybe immediately let the server know so I can order a different draft before my meal was over??!!! Top it off, my draft that I finally got was warm!! A perfect score of lame, more lame and super lame! I won't be back. The owners should strive to improve across the board quickly or get out of the game and sell the place IMHO. Who else ADORES Tiki Bars? (I mean AUTHENTIC tiki bars). This meaning actual Polynesian decor as well as drinks made from the finest ingredients. I have to tell you all about the BEST BEST BEST Mai Tai that I ever had. This was at Kiwi's Kove (located in front of the Sands Resort) in Rehoboth Beach. The service was fast and attentive and they made sure that we were happy with our food and drinks on many occasions. As a lover of birds I also appreciated the toucan mascot. :) The location is SO perfect.... as it is right off the boardwalk/beach front. It was VERY hot when we went so we were inside and we sat right next to the indoor wooden tiki... which made you feel like you left the DE beaches for Polynesia. :) Their menu could use some new foods/wider variety (but I am keeping them at 5 stars bc everything else was so perfect). There is no other place like this right off the boardwalk and they offer a kid's menu (so there is fun for all)... family friendly along with tiki vibes! Can't go wrong! :) read more

Came here with a party of four. Ordered our nachos to share, which were pretty good. I had the coconut chicken, which is just chicken nuggets you would get a McDonald's lightly coated in honey and then sprinkled with toasted coconut. The flavor was fine, but the quality was not great. The fries were just okay. The service was infrequent. Our drinks were empty most of the time and it took about 20-30 minutes to place our order. Once the check came to the table we placed our cards and waited for the server to take them for processing. The hostess then came by and asked us to leave once we pay because others were waiting for a table. Taken back because we were still waiting to pay, I looked to see a party of two waiting for the table and that was it. There was no line as I have seen on other occasions and the bar had several seats open. To add, we are not a group that will sit and chitchat at a restaurant or take forever to eat. We eat and leave.... Not sure what was up with this place as I have never experienced that at any restaurant. This place is just ok. Views, atmosphere and beach vibes are on point. The food is a bit overpriced (because the whole, "people dip into their wallet on vacation" thing) and mediocre at best. They open at noon (don't serve breakfast) and they were out of fish for the fish tacos so I got pork. My kids orders were nothing special... coconut chicken nuggets that were a bit dry. The coconut shrimp had good coconut flavor... but did I mention they were over priced? We always stay at The Atlantic Sands and love that they come around the pool and take orders. That's the biggest draw for us. Otherwise I would pass this place up. But... the Rum Punch. Yeah. That was good. If you find yourself here, you should get that. read more

Everytime I fail to heed the advice of the yelp community it bites me in the you know what. The reviews are true the quality of food is pretty horrendous. The locale is pretty awesome, it is right on the beach, however the bad food just kills the entire experience. We got the fish sandwich and it was worse than what you would get at McDs. Ended up here while on the Santa Pub Crawl this weekend. Granted, it was busy, but that's no excuse for the horrible attitude that our bartender Nicholas (Nick) had. There were 4 of us ordering together. We ordered 2 drinks first. When he brought them over, we ordered two more. He rolled his eyes, and walked away to make them. He literally had to walk 5 feet away to make them. The drink special specified that they were made with Bulleit whiskey, but we noticed him pouring Old Grandad in, instead. When he brought them, we asked if he used Old Grandad and he said yes. We pointed out nicely that they were supposed to be made with Bulleit. His response was "So, you want me to remake them?" When we said yes, he picked up the drinks, spun around shaking his head, and was talking to himself the entire time he was remaking them. He brought the right drinks over with a pissed off look on his face, grabbed the handheld credit card machine, threw it on the counter in front of us, and walked away. We were just dumbfounded, as this was the worst service we had ever received. Needless to say, poor Nick didn't get a tip, and we tip very well! Another patron at the bar said he was treated the same way, and was served warm bottled beer when they ran out of cold beer. Not sure why this dude still has a job. The fruits were fresh and added a different spin on a classic. The crushes were good, but they didn't use the "crushed" ice like most places do. I really hate leaving low-star reviews. This is your basic beach bar with burgers, quick-fried foods and cocktails. The bar is located right off of the Atlantic Sands Hotel and boardwalk in RB. I'm giving this bar 2 stars for its great views from the boardwalk and the prompt service. The food is decent, nothing to rave about, typical bar food. We had a burger, coconut friend chicken tenders and fried crab balls. Once we sat down we were actually quite disturbed that there wasn't any "social distancing" and the tables were at 100% capacity with people standing around the bar. The servers had masks, and were friendly. The cocktails are water downed and you can only taste juice. I ordered a rum punch and only tasted pineapple and orange juice with a splash of grenadine. I ordered coconut shrimp that was not good at all. Considering the beach location they should use boardwalk fries. My husband just ordered a plain Caesar salad and it was fine. Such a cute outdoor patio bar/restaurant that is right on the boardwalk! They offer a wide menu of American bar food, tacos, and nachos with a twist. Loved the food but it was a little pricier than average I'm guessing due to the location. The nachos were around $16 bucks but definitely worth it.
