Great service, nice casual beachy vibes, food was just ok. My friend likes her Korean tuna taco & onion rings, but my Thai Mahi Mahi was neither here nor there, and didn't taste that great. First stop for a week in Rehoboth. Server Christine recommended the Grouper Tacos and Fried Shrimp Po Boy, with Southern Vinegar Slaw and Onion Rings to wash down our Creamsicle Margarita and Strawberry Watermelon Sangria. If you peruse my reviews you'll find I'm stingy with 5s. Zogg's is a 6.5! Everything was incredible from the perfectly breaded and cooked grouper, a beautifully assembled Po Boy, huge onion rings (a few were a bit greasy), and incredibly creamy and tasty slaw... awesome start to our vacation. read more

Returned to Zogg's during another vacation and it was just as great as we remembered. Service from Gina was impeccable and we enjoyed some Happy Hour specials including the buck-a-shuck oysters, mussels and jerk chicken (the star of the show in my book). Washed it down with a couple glasses of Sauvignon blanc. To our surprise and delight it was also music themed bingo night, and happy hour specials were extended because of it. Stopping in for the first time for happh hour. I was greeted and taken great care of by Jeff the bartender. Who can beat a raw dollar oyster and clams on a nice summer weekday. The location is close to the water and boardwalk offering indoor and outdoor seating. Stumbled upon the rum bar coming back from funland with two young kids at 8:30 and the bartender (i think Charmane) was a pleasant surprise! We were not expecting much in regards to food being a sticky floor bar but everything we got was fantastic (mahi tacos-the taco shell ruined my diet but was amazing, the tuna poke bowl was a huge serving, and of course smash burgers for the kids were a fan fav). Everything was fine except she sold us on the side ceasars "it's really good, you gotta try it". It had way too much dressing and barely edible. When she came to clear the plates, she asked if we needed a box for our barely eaten salads, which we let her know that we couldn't eat it because it was basically all dressing. Loved the vibe, the bartenders, the love music and the fabulous rum punch! Husband had a Dos Equis beer, not remotely tropical. One visit we popped in out of the rain just for drinks and music. On another occasion the same weekend, we came in for skewers and a mai tai cocktail too. I think this is the best rum punch in town. A little cherry flavor maybe? Anyway, the mai tai was not bad but the run punch brought me back. The jerk chicken skewers were a huge $15 appetizer portion, the biggest grilled chicken thighs I have ever seen, threaded on three skewers and covered in incendiary jerk bbq sauce. I got a side of rice, which helped soak up some rum. But the skewers would be so much better if the thighs were thinner, cooked until crispy then served with a dish of sauce on the side. I disliked the squishy texture of the not very browned thigh meat, and the heavy handed application of the bbq sauce. Would not recommend. But if we come back to DE, count me in for more rum punch and local music! read more

We randomly stopped in today to grab some drinks and relax. The entire staff was SO nice and they all worked together to check on guests, grab drinks and cleanup. What a great chill vibe and it doesn't hurt that Phillies sports teams were present. We didn't get a chance to order food but we throughly enjoyed our time here. read more

Had diner here 8/11/25.... Ordered a burger with some appetizers with my family of 5... as I was eating the burger I realized that an air conditioner over head had condensation dripping slowly on my meal... when I noticed this I had eaten half my burger ... I told my waiter about the issue and he said yeah we know about out it I'll take it off your bill.... Next the manager comes by and says they will take a percentage off... they took 1.20 cents off the bill! They clearly don't care about the health and wellbeing of their customers ... stay away! read more

The staff are always friendly and personable and the food is pretty good for bar food. We are obsessed with the fried grouper even tho it was much better earlier in the year, larger pieces and crispier, but I'll take the smaller pieces for now. I wouldn't recommend the grouper tacos, it was suggested highly by the server and honestly it was just a plain tortilla, cabbage out of a bag with some sauce on top (not a slaw). Get the fried grouper by itself, way better. The coconut shrimp is also to die for and we get it every time! read more

We wanted to do outdoor dining to enjoy the lovely weather and loved the atmosphere of Zogg's. We sat close to the entrance on a really hot day. On the way to the bathroom, I didn't realize how small this place was so sitting outside is a nice option. Ordered a few things and realized this is a sister location to Wheelhouse. Service was friendly and quick. Food arrived piping hot and delicious. Tuna poke salad - Zogg's version is better than Wheelhouse. The rice is soft and the ingredients were really fresh. Pulled pork and bacon mac and cheese - it's good but it's a massively heavy dish. Couldn't finish it split between two adults and two young kids. Amazing flavor and great portion. Grouper Fingers - as good as ever. My favorite and would definitely come back just to get this. Really nice location and super close to the beach and heart of Rehoboth Beach. read more

I really liked eating here. We make a trek to Rehoboth every early summer for a long weekend. With not much time, we want to make our nights out count. Zogg's came through. It is very beach-vacation-vibes which I love. An outside bar with outside tables under nice cover. The food was really good and if I can give you fare warning, I would say...share an order? My shrimp po' boy was delicious! But I could have shared it with two people! My friend had the crab cake sliders and said they were delicious. One kid got fish tacos and shared Mac n cheese with her sister. This place is a great spot for decent food, hefty portions and great atmosphere. We are going to keep coming back. read more

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with our mini goldendoodle. We sat outside. Since it is off season it was quiet while playing some Island music which was nice and relaxing. This restaurant was an awesome find in the rehobeth beach area! Tucked away on one of the side streets, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining for guests. My group of 5 opted to sit outside since it was a beautiful day, and the restaurant did a great job of providing shade for customers. The alcoholic drink menu was expansive with something for everyone. My group tried the orange creamsicle and blueberry lemonade cocktails. Both were excellent, but my friends and I really enjoyed the orange creamsicle!! So good! Our group was starving so we decided to split a few entrees. We tried the crab Mac n cheese, the pulled pork Mac n cheese, the burrito, and a couple of the taco options. The portions were huge and the food quality was exceptional. We were stuffed by the time we left and took a bunch of food home for later. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was both attentive and speedy, and keyed us in on an offer to take our drinks to go. She was very friendly and what I would want in a staff person if I was a restaurant owner. The restaurant was clean and is family friendly. Parking is paid street parking and can be a little challenging to find a spot close to the restaurant during busy summer hours. We recently stopped at Zogg's for the first time as we were coming through Rehoboth on the way to Ocean City . It was a Tuesday around noon and a very hot day so it wasn't terribly crowded. We chose to eat at the bar . They have a lot of rum drinks and they were delicious! I had a Mai Tai and my husband had a punch . Yum !! We ordered pretty much right away- I got a starter of scallops on an aioli and topped with crab chunks and tobiko . The scallops were perfectly done and amazing- I loved Em !! We came here while participating in the Rehoboth Beach "doodle" parade in the spring. We were four adults, two children, and five dogs! Honestly, the food was not good. I had the pork tacos, and it was half fat. Most of the other food was heavy and fried, the burgers were overdone, and the bar was only somewhat responsive to our orders and desires. And when I asked about ordering something, they could have just told me that and that would have been that, BUT the bartender gave me a heads up that another restaurant down a block has their kitchen open till 1am.
