I love this place. Went in for the $23 foot massage. I had no idea they massage your whole body. It was quiet tranquil. Yeah.. youy could hear the guy at the front talking tho customers as they came in but for the most part pretty quiet. The second time I went in.. still great.. only quirk is the guy massaged me and he was massaging me really hard so next time if he does it I'll ask him to be more softer. This place is awesome! Lucy was my masseuse and I never had to direct her towards spots I needed focusing on. Did the $30 massage which is 45 minutes body and 15 feet. They offer the $20 foot which includes neck, back and shoulders I believe and ill try that next. All in all worth every penny and I will be back. In the area w/ a friend and thought We would try this place out. Terrible mistake. Only reason I'm giving any stars is because my massage actually was good. Reasons I am not giving stars is because during the massage, my massage lady decided to have a conversation with the massage worker right next to her that was massaging my friend. I had to sit up and look at both of them for them to stop. Also the man at the desk is very loud and you can hear him talking to everyone that comes in or calls. The lady who gave me a massage had a smile on her face and was very nice. Massage was just right she asked if it was too much pressure or not and was willing to adjust if needed. Went here a couple of times was not the best place but for the price it was not the worst. It is very noisy here and the phone rings all the time and is loud, which makes it hard to relax. The reason for the one star was the attitude and treatment I received after tipping. I normally tip $5-10 depending on the quality of the massage. Since they charge additional fess to use a credit card now, I was left with only $4 dollars cash after paying. When I tipped I was told by the manager that the MINIMUM TIP IS $5 and IF I DID NOT TIP $5 Dollar I was no longer welcome to come back. Well I told her a tip is gratuity not a requirement and they would no longer have my business. Let me explain to you what this massage place is like: You could get a great massage for $20 and you'll leave pretty satisfied. You pay first. Then, you keep on all your clothes (although for guys, I think I heard they ask you to remove your shirt.). They sit you in a room with about 6 other chairs so this is not a private massage. They recline the chair and start massaging. They put your feet in a tub of warm water to soak and they get started on soft facial massage. They proceed to massage your whole body. Make sure to wear shorts as they will massage your legs! They massage your feet with Reflexology technique and it works! I'm sensitive and very aware of how my body is working and feeling so I could immediately feel the affects of the reflexology foot massage. For $20, you can't beat a great massage. I personally like the private room feel because I don't like relaxing with a bunch of people in a room with me. But that's a personal preference. Their actual shop is located near a market center. It looks walled up and dark but do NOT let the outside fool you!! They give quality massages, they are sweet and kind people, the atmosphere is relaxing, and how in the world can you go wrong with a $20 full body massage? Go and at least try it. You're not losing much with it being only $20. If you love it, you'll see what I mean. If you prefer something else, no prob. But I do suggest you give it a try. =) My massage lady was Anna. I read some of the reviews and even though they were extreme, both ways, decided I'd see for myself and I'm so glad I did!! I went mid-day Sunday. The place was quiet and professional and the masseuse was AMAZING. I had a combo of massage and reflexology for an hour at $30 (plus $1 for using my card). SUPER INEXPENSIVE! Now for the tipping part that I read some people complain about: This place is really into providing outstanding service AND as it is customary in the service industry, tips are EXPECTED. You wouldn't go to a restaurant and not tip a competent server (unless maybe you're a jerk) and the rate is the same here: 10% for C-, 15% for good and 20% for outstanding. If you had an outstanding massage, like I did, you're expected to pay an appropriate tip-I see nothing wrong with that!! And they ASK you how it was!! When you undertip, it is a clear message to the masseuse that you were not satisfied and manager wants to know that so they can improve service. If you are dis-satisfied, tip less, but based on my experience, you will be more than pleased. The fee is so low to begin with it's hard to imagine you can't come up with a couple extra bucks for a person who has genuinely earned it. I'd rather pay less for an outstanding massage so I can tip more to the person who gave it to me. Maybe there's something lost in translation that is not being communicated from the beginning. The woman at the front desk is there to both serve and protect clients AND her staff!! I know they read the YELP reviews because they had addressed/fixed every single complaint I had read: The place was quiet, no cell phones, staff was not engaging in unnecessary conversations, etc. I will be going back! If you want an amazing massage/reflexology at a low price come here but be prepared to tip accordingly and don't be cheap when they earn it. :-) read more

My husband & I decided to go a massage. We have had lots of great massages in the past. We decided to try a place right down the street from our house which was a BAD idea!!! We both had ladies. All they did was talk to each other during the WHOLE massage, and kept laughing!!! Very unprofessional! Especially for a place that's supposed to be relaxing! I asked for soft because most places hurt if u tell the medium, well her soft was rubbing a TINY bit of oil/lotion on my skin. No pressure what-so-ever.... My husbands lady barley used any oil at all. Then she asked me if the pressure was ok & I asked that she try medium, and she laughed & said I requested soft. Then when it came to checking out, they wanted to charge 2.00 to use a debit card. We ended up paying cash because of that. I really enjoyed my first massage here. When I went into the room there were towels on the mat and a rose (nice touch). I told the lady I was having a lot of pain on one side and she really worked that side to get the knots out. The music was very relaxing. I paid for the service and the tip when I was done at the front reception area. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was because of the very dark color in the room made it look a bit scary rather than relaxing. But once you close your eyes you don't think about the dark color in the little room. The massage was not too hard for me. I will be coming back. The price is very reasonable. read more

This is my spot. So far I haven't found another and I do look for another spot every so often, but let me tell you why. Why because this place has been off just a couple times! And sometimes I look for other spots out of town. And really I haven't found anyone that comes close to KK's quality. The prices are on point as well!! Hours are great! So for the not so always ON is, the touch. When I get a masseuse I really like I get her name, but when I come back, either she's off, or already working on someone. I think this part is completely a personal problem of mines that is totally avoidable. I just don't know how to plan, it's a problem of mine!! Back to the touch, some of the techs don't have the right touch and once I had a male work on me and I think he just ate. I could smell food on his hands! It sucked. That time really sucked! But I've been here enough times that I've earned my "buy 10 get 1 free". Using it tonight!! Oh almost forgot, it's so peaceful inside, nice and dark but clean!!!! I've been coming here off/on for at least ten times because I redeemed my stamp card today for $20 towards my massage. The massages overall are good to OK. They help with stress areas. The language barrier can be frustrating when trying to communicate. Today really ticked me off because I had a 1 hr. couple's massage for $76. My husband and I tipped almost 20% and instead of a thank you, we were told the minimum is $8.00 per person, per hour. That is over 20%. The standard at the Mission Inn Spa is 18-20%! Gratuity is not mandatory! !! Unless you're at a restaurant with a large party. But still, I don't like to be forced to tip and told what I will tip you. Tacky. I liked that place but today was a big turn off. And I noticed that the employees hover near the front door when your massage is done, waiting anxiously for their tip. Not sure if it's a cultural thing or not but I may try somewhere else. These massage places are all over. read more

I have gone to this place several times since it is so close to my house. Also, I can always get in within an hour of calling which is great. The massages have always been excellent, and the staff is personable and professional. This is definitely a no frills place as another reviewer said...but I am not there for that. Also, I bring my own lotion and the staff is fine with that. When you go to the back and use the bathroom, the place could be a little more professional looking, but this in no way detracts from the service. That's an owner issue. read more
