This office managed to get me in within a couple of days. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by the staff. Everyone was very nice and understanding. I went back for X-rays within a few minutes, then took a seat in the dentist's chair. I explained to Tina what happened. I also explained that, as a disabled vet, money is not something I have large quantities of. Tina absolutely went above and beyond and saved me from having either crippling debt or a lost tooth. She gave me some extremely helpful advice involving my benefits, and the main thing is? She didn't have to. She didn't have to help me with something not involving the clinic. She did anyway, and that speaks volumes to me. She also was able to fix my crown temporarily, so I could at least walk around without an exposed (and very painful) nerve in my mouth. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Because of my experience, I will always recommend the dental clinic to anyone who asks!

Dr. Sims is very kind and explained the work to be done, and it went very smoothly and quickly with no discomfort. I am just absolutely disgusted with Caulk's Hill Dental. They cancelled an appointment with me…read moretoday because I owe them $94.50. In 2020 I PAID them along with my insurance company almost $4,000. 1/2 of that came out of my pocket directly. The staff is great but that means nothing when you have an operation that sees you only as a balance. I pay my bills but I lost my mother and mother in law who were both ill and required care from me until they passed. Not to mention trying to keep an elderly relative that I have POA safe during these horrible Covid times. I am also a small business consultant so I have been working daily and furiously to assist these businesses and keep them sustainable. As a business consultant this is the most ignorant and counterproductive policy. It makes more sense to collect the $94.50 from me while I'm there spending another $900. A small medical bill did not have my attention and they should have treated me as a patient that has spent thousands of dollars with them since I've been there along with 4 family members. So for $94.50 they've lost thousands of dollars of recurring revenue, the many referrals I sent their way and my ire. I know a lot of people and just line I share good business practices with my clients during business counseling and training. I share bad practices. This will be incorporated into my 2021 curriculum with a big fat don't use them and don't create stupid policies like this. I am disappointed and angry at myself for entrusting me and my family and spending so much money with people that cared so little for and disrespected our well being for $94.50. Today I will pay that balance because I see how important it is to them and I will caution everyone that wants to be treated humanly and as more than an invoice to choose another more deserving dentist office. I was told by my dentist that I was in need of a root canal, they referred me to a different office…read morewho I could only get in on Friday, but I was referred to Berg by multiple people who had gone here before. They told me that it was painless, quick, and simply the best. And they had a cancellation and were able to pencil me in same day! The woman I spoke with was also giving me a break down of insurance things trying to help me save money, but in the end I decided to bite the bullet and come in. Dr Berg had friendly bedside manner, I was told exactly what was going to happen step by step to calm my nerves, but since I had come from a dentist that didn't refer him, he did a sensitivity test which actually showed a different tooth was more sensitive to pain than the one I was brought in to get checked out for. He asked more questions to try to see what was going on and we ended up not having to do a root canal. He gave his recommendations and so far I haven't felt any pain since. He saved me from spending almost $1k since it's the end of the year my insurance was capped so it all would have been out of pocket. I may need to see him later if this doesn't continue to work, so I will update my review if that is the case or if later down the line I'll need a root canal. But I definitely don't understand why there are poor reviews on here...
