I drink black coffee, and to be honest, most black coffee is pretty much the same, no matter where you get it. I feel like I'm writing a review just for the sake of writing it: "I got another black coffee. It tasted like black coffee. Hooray." But in this game, my coffee was extra enjoyable, and my wife's was great too. I almost didn't want to come here because they did not have a cold brew or a nitro on the menu. So I asked for an iced americano instead, and the barista asked if I would like some alternate thing that I hadn't heard of. She explained that it basically just made the coffee seem more like a nitro. Easy answer: yes. I still don't know what it was called, but it rocked. The flavor of the beans were excellent too. My wife ordered a mango matcha drink, which was perfect. I took more than just my standard tasting sip because I really loved it. She did too. While we waited, we sat at a table and played taco cat goat cheese pizza with our son. They have several games available here for people to play. It made the experience more fun. The funny thing is, we expected to walk in to a place with no one inside because the parking situation was weird, but it didn't appear anyone was inside because there were no cars around. We were very surprised to see 10+ customers hanging out, playing games and/or waiting for their drinks to be made. Cool spot and definitely one we will come back to next time we are in need of caffeine in Tomball.

I am Salvi, and I always try to support local businesses, but when there is a cultural connection like that, I was committed to going. Location It sits in a cute little historical district with a great vibe. The shop is a converted home, which makes it feel warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. It is clean, comfortable, and easy to move around in. There is plenty of seating considering the size of the location. The atmosphere is cool, relaxed, and artisan. They also display artwork from El Salvador, which I truly appreciated. It felt intentional and authentic. Staff and Owners I met the brothers who run it. Super cool guys and genuinely proud of what they have built. I asked what 1821 meant because I did not want to assume. It is the year El Salvador became independent, which sparked a great conversation. They were happy to share their story and talk about how their family is involved. We connected over being Salvadoran and even shared some geographical familiarity about different parts of El Salvador. That personal touch matters. Product and Service I ordered their chai tea and let them make it house style, hot. It did not disappoint. My wife ordered the Sivar and loved it. It has a Salvadoran twist that I will not ruin because I recommend you try it yourself. I will just say this, it is coffee with peanuts. That is your only hint. Overall, the place is fun, cute, artisan, real, and truly family owned. Highly recommended. And one more thing, their coffee is sourced from El Salvador. People do not give that country enough credit. Not just because I am a little biased, but Salvadoran coffee is one of the best kept secrets in North America. Dare I say better than Costa Rica. I only have one note: I requested that the Flat White come hot, but it was more lukewarm. I personally love a piping hot coffee, so I wished it was a wee hotter. Other than that, the cafe has free wifi making it a great place to study or get some work done. The interior is small, but super cute. Lots of natural lighting and a huge hand painted mural garnishes the main wall. The employees were also super sweet and very helpful. There is a drive through you must go between the florist shop and the coffee shop. There is no menu board to see what you might want, you have to go to the drive through window to see the options they have available. When you get to the window, a smiling face is waiting to take your order and show their offerings. They do give you suggestions if you have trouble choosing. There are no prices so you'll have to ask. I ordered the Fighting Bulldog and asked to get it blended, it was very tasty. I also requested the cinnamon cheese muffin that everyone has said is super tasty and they warm the muffin up by the way "SO GOOD!" This is a great little coffee shop you can go inside and sit down if you'd like. There is limited parking up front, people have been known to park in the past. I wish they had a menu board to look at along with knowing what is the price before buying, I had no idea what I was paying for my drink until I found my email with the receipt. You can find them on Google Maps but not much anywhere else. If you've ever paid via Square that's how you'll get your ticket.

The baristas were incredibly sweet and helpful when we were deciding what to order. I went with the Spanish Latte, which comes with condensed milk and salted caramel cold foam. The cold foam was the perfect balance to the boldness of the coffee and added just the right amount of sweetness. We really enjoyed our experience here, and this coffee shop will definitely be added to our rotation! Can't wait to come back and try more of their drinks!
