We have got boba from here a few times now, and I feel like i've had it enough times where I can give a review. Although I wouldn't say that they are my absolute favorite place, they are pretty good and are newer to the area. The ice isn't in chunks, which is good, and they do blend pretty well, athough sometimes there is too much on the bottom of the cup and not mixed in. Not a huge deal. The black sugar one is my favorite, and at this point we've tried almost every one. The interior looks modern, and kept clean. I tried teaspoon for the first time and I really enjoyed the boba drink I ordered. It was savory and refreshing. When I went on Friday night they had music playing and people playing board games and it was a fun atmosphere. This spot was nearby and decided to give it a try. It was honestly really good! You either get to order on their kiosk or with the cashier. Opted in for their Matcha Royale (strawberry) & the Taro Lover (without the Taro chunks). Both drinks were truly good. The matcha was not grainy and just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered the Rose Petal Oolong milk tea (I requested lactose-free milk) with 75% sugar and their unique brown sugar crystal boba option; overall, it was a decent drink, but it is on the sweeter side, and I found that the rose flavor overpowered the Oolong a bit. In addition, there was more of a watery consistency than creamy, which I didn't think would happen given how they used real milk rather than dairy-free powder, and I felt that they were a little heavy-handed with the ice, even though I requested less ice. :( Service was a bit slow the day I came (which was a Sunday afternoon), but there were only two workers and several customers coming in, so I'll give grace. They did forget to make one of my friend's drinks, though... I thought their brown sugar crystal boba was interesting, but truthfully, I prefer brown sugar boba in its original form and found that the crystal boba didn't add much. Came for the Soft Opening. From the moment we came in we had the best customer service from a young lady with black hair wearing a Slipknot shirt. I was impressed as I am a Slipknot Fan! And her being young with good taste in music, she gets extra points from me. She walked me through the menu and how to register for the reward points. My drink presentation was on point so I had to snag a photo. The young lady offered to take it for me since she had the best placement to get the photo. See photo included. This has been my second visit to Teaspoon once before when I was on this side, I tried their mango drink, which was amazing. I came back again today because I was back on this side of town, and I tried a new flavor which I ended up not liking as much as I thought I would. I came back in and asked the girls if I can maybe just repurchase another drink since I didn't like the one I had ended up getting and the staff was so nice, even the manager. They offered to remake my drink and test if adding more sugar would make it better. Once tasting it, it was perfect! The manager thanked me for being a rewards member and mentioned next month (Sep 2025) they will have banana drinks and you best believe I will be back! I was pretty excited to try the new boba place, especially since they were promoting their grand opening and the bogo week. A staff member recommended the double matcha (matcha latte with matcha cloud), which he made a point to say is ceremonial grade. I've noticed a variety of flavored clouds on the rise in different shops and thought it'd be a fun choice. While the staff member did mention the double matcha comes in the smaller cup than other drinks, it's not very easy to see what is the usual cup size if looking at the drinks. The matcha flavor wasn't too milky or too bitter as I chose whole milk and didn't change the default sugar levels. The Silky Strawberry is milk with strawberry marmalade and honey boba. It tastes like sweet strawberry milk with chewy boba. While I chose whole milk, it was sweeter than I expected as I forgot it was marmalade and not just cut strawberries in milk like other shops. The boba at 7pm on a Friday night was chewy, though not as soft as I've been preferring recently. The staff seemed nice and comfortable in their roles, though the cups could be wiped down more thoroughly as I had milk and strawberry stains. I was offered a generous helping of a topping to sample, which was nice. The egg pudding did look very broken, but, once he scooped it out, there were large cold chunks, The inside feels more like diy yogurt shop than cafe as the space is narrow. read more

We stopped in the other day to try this new boba tea option in our neighborhood. We got a lemonade, a Golden Brew coffee, a House milk tea, and a Caramel Cream with no boba. They are in the soft opening phase so they did not have pastries yet. The Golden Brew coffee was quite good. Rich and full bodied with good coffee flavor. I did not really get the hazelnut, so if you are looking for that you may want to ask for an extra squirt. The Caramel Cream was very enticing, the caramel made for an interesting look while you are mixing the drink. Flavor was excellent. The House milk tea was pretty basic. Tea with cream. They offer sugar levels and we asked for less, which was a good idea--a sweeter drink would not have been great with more sugar. The lemonade was a disappointment. We got the basic lemonade, and it had no sugar! Lemon water. I think this was a mistake and they'll get better. The servers were friendly and enthusiastic. The business is social media oriented, with a station set up for video posts. The decor is quite cute. The bathroom was clean and ready. The other recent entry in this space is Tea Amor, and I would say they are quite similar but Teaspoon is cuter inside. I have mixed feelings about their ad campaign. They have put a lot of bandit signs around our area. Those are clutter that have to be cleaned up at some point. But they do their job, you know the place is open. read more

The place is very cute, the cashier/server was so helpful and let us try and sample a few things however the boba tea I got (taro) was subpar. I omitted the grainy taro paste they normally add to it and I asked for it to be extra sweet. It was not as sweet or creamy as I would have liked. This spot is just a two minute drive from my house, it's about time I tried it out. Me and my brother came in minutes before closing but the staff was still willing to make our drinks and happy to serve. One thing I really like about this place is that they use espresso machines to brew their tea to order instead of brewing a large pitcher all at once. You can actually taste the freshness of the tea because of it. The overall boba shop was so cute too. I took my brothers opinion of his pineapple shine when doing this review and he mentioned while the drink itself was good, the chunks in his didn't taste like pineapple and he wasn't that big of a fan. But one more positive note I'd like to add that I really liked is that this place has plastic alternative straws, but not paper straws! I wish I'd asked but it's most likely sugar cane or a different plant material that doesn't soften or dissolve in your drink.
