Do not leave packages here. They will get lost, and they will assume no responsibility. Use another drop off location.

So, 100% of our service in the past two years has been poor. I do not know if these drivers are overworked and cannot meet the demands or if the center is poorly managed, but there is a consistent breakdown in our shipping track once our packages reach Nacogdoches. The two times this center was used in the past two years was because we had no choice; both times, it was a hassle. (The first time, our package was given to a thief who just drove up but refused to sign or produce ID. He was given our package anyway. The second, the package said "Out for Delivery" for two days with no attempted delivery on the first day.) They either need to hire more drivers, train them better, or pay them more. My guess is all three. I tend to believe that the problem lies with companies or managers who just do not treat people well enough for their performance to matter or who extort employees for their labor without fair compensation. In any case, until FedEx looks into and solves the issues at the Nacogdoches ship center, our household will not be choosing them.

The place is too small for the volume of business they do everyday. Others have mentioned fire hazard and so forth. I don't know if the business is a franchise or if it's UPS owned, but given there is a huge UPS depot in Lufkin, you'd think we could have a larger store. You could, for instance, better compete with Office Depot on the Med. One star for the owner.

Oh, what a delightfully *cozy* little UPS store Lufkin has! I mean, who needs space, organization,…read moreor basic fire safety when you can have the full experience of a human sardine can? I was *thrilled* to learn that this is the *one and only* UPS store in town because, really, why would a growing community need more than one place to ship their stuff? That would just be too convenient. Coming from Houston, where UPS stores somehow manage to function without resembling an episode of *Hoarders*, I was simply *awestruck* by the artistic arrangement of packages on the floor, by the mailboxes, behind the counter truly a masterclass in chaos theory. I briefly considered renting a mailbox here, but hey, why bother when it's already occupied by a mountain of lost shipments? And let's talk about that line oh my , what a *fun* little fire hazard! Nothing like being squished up against a door while waiting to drop off an Amazon return. Who needs personal space when you can have a front-row seat to disorganization in action? Oh, and the staff! Shout-Out to the one competent employee (the young Black man kudos, dude), but the rest? Yikes. I don't know if they were running a UPS store or just starring in a real-time simulation of "What Not To Do in Customer Service." If I were the owner of this store, I'd be mortified. But hey, what do I know? I only have a friend who owns *three* UPS stores in Houston that somehow manage to be clean, functional, and not a logistical disaster. Maybe that's just *too much* to ask for here. #Lufkin #Texas #UPS

Staff at BoxCar received my box and I received a printed receipt. I left the building feeling confident that my package was in good hands and that my client would receive it in a couple of days. In approximately 1 week my client called and asked about the package that had not been received so I looked up the tracking number on the Fedex website. To my dismay I found that Fedex had no record of picking up my package at BoxCar. I called BoxCar and a young man informed me that occasionally boxes were picked up by the wrong carrier and that often it took as long as two weeks for those packages to be returned to BoxCar. Apparently there is no system or supervision at BoxCar to ensure that the correct carrier picks up the correct package. It is now two weeks and 1 day since my package has been lost by BoxCar. This contained documents which, in the wrong hands, could easily be used for the purpose of Identity Theft and as of this date I have no idea what type of repercussions my client will suffer as a result of carelessness on the part of BoxCar staff. It isi also interesting to note that the website shown on Yelp and also on my BoxCar receipt does not exist or is not accessible. I am now driving to Tyler from Mineola when I have important documents to mail. Fedex has an Office there and does not offer services to other carriers. It takes considerable time to do this but at lease now I can sleep nights.
