We were happy with the quote and wanted to move forward. I called numerous times, with no return call or email. We eventually had to obtain a quote from someone else... and purchased the boat lift elsewhere. I can get over all of this. Maybe they were so busy, they didn't want our business. Fine. Our neighbor three doors down was having them put their boat lift in today by lighthouse. He has asked if they could go three doors down to do ours... which we would pay for. Lighthouse refused, because we didn't buy our boat lift from them... we wanted to. We tried to. But how can I buy my boat lift from you if you never return my calls. Nice people if you can get them to communicate. But I promise you will be beyond frustrated with their lack of communication and response.

He told us that other companies would try to sell us a full replacement but he assured us that he could extend our old roof's life with repairs and maintenance. He was right! Potential clients need to be aware of working with this company We had a horrible experience with Exquisite. 1. Poor communication - they didnt respect our time. told us multiple times they would be at our house in one hour and then would call 3 hours later saying they couldn't make the appointment. then we would have to follow-up to reschedule. 2. Subs - several of their subs were unprofessional and disparaged the owners while on the job site. 3. Quality - miscut stone and then tried to convince us that it was ok and told us about other imperfections in our house....or to "Cover up the mistake with a plant" lol. When we asked for the stone to be replaced at their cost, they said it was too late and that they would provide a discount instead. They do not value quality or service. 4. While we were negotiating a final price (based on contractor error) they filed a lien on our property.... before the work was even complete. Horrible ethics. After payment in full, still didnt complete the work. and we do not want them to come back in our home after this experience. Six hour into the removal I asked; What are you guys doing and how long is this going to take? (note it would take them 4 days at this rate) I called the company about it and received no answer, called the Forman got no answer and I could not communicate with the workers because of a language issue. With that said I gave them my power tool to do the job they removed the tile in 6 hours yet left the cement board attached. Asked the company about the cement board and if they can tile over. They said NO. Then I asked for quotes on the tile. Flash forward 12 Days, got the quote and it was extremely high so I decided to not do it. AT that point I asked them since the demo included cement board and I rented the guys my tools so What is the new price? Considering that the company breached the contract I offered them a fair price to compensate the work completed, he replied with NO you pay me $2350 or I will sue you. Going as far to tell me it cost them 1000$ of garbage. During the whole process the quote was shady (done over text) , work was shady and incomplete and most important communication was AWFUL!!!!! I would completely avoid them unless you prepare yourself to get taken advantage, have awful communication and have mid to lower level work done.

A pipe burst in my basement on a Sunday morning. I called several well known restoration companies…read moreand had to leave messages. Nu-Gen actually answered the phone! They came within an hour. Then sent a crew to mitigate damages immediately. Sean was the "crew". He worked so hard and quickly tearing out soaked padding and carpet, setting up fans and plastic walls to contain the area. Ni-Gen has been over everyday to ensure the humidity etc was going down. Very professional and great customer service.

And we are still dealing with the damage they caused and trying to get a resolution for their completely inflated, unnecessary charges and unnecessary demolition. The renovation is still not complete due to all the out of pocket expenses we have incurred to put our home back together. We have had 2 other restoration companies as well as 5 adjusters verify that what they did in our home was completely unnecessary to midigate my pipe burst. Nugen assured us they would work with the insurance company to get all damages and reconstruction covered. They did absolutely nothing but make the situation worse with the insurance company with their arrogance and refusal to speak with them. We are left with a lean on our home after 90 days and out of pocket expenses of over $10,000. As if dealing with a broken pipe is not enough, Nugen will just make a very stressful and horrible situation worse. I have found that we are not the only one they have done this to. PLEASE! Dont let them into your home! I would not want anyone else to have to go through what we have and still are going through with Nugen, a year later!
