As promised, I had my outpatient procedure today and would like to update! Dr. Tambar and her…read moreattending nurse were wonderful (I regret I don't remember her name)! Just like last time, everything was ran efficiently and I was in and out in a timely manner. They did a wonderful job of numbing me up with lidocaine ... when I felt even a bit of anything and would make a wincing face, the attending nurse would notice my reaction and the doctor would give me more. I am such a wimp when it comes to physical pain at all, but it has been almost 7 hours since my procedure began, about 6 1/2 hours since the last shot of lidocaine, and I don't feel much at all. I followed their instructions and they gave me an ice pack to immediately put in my bra on the side of my outpatient procedure and I'm home. They will send to pathology to confirm I am ok and they scheduled me for a follow-up next week. I really love it here. I hope I don't have to come back here, of course, due to the main focus of this office ... but if I did, I would feel I was absolutely in the best hands, and these are warm and compassionate ladies working here, and I truly recommend this place if you find yourself in need of care for your "girls" ... you will be treated with dignity and respect and wonderful bedside manner!

You wonder why young people have problems? Send them to providers like this! There are steps providers take before adding drugs. Again, he's 19 and very healthy and just left his pediatric doctors. I have had issues with plugged and popping ears and a drippy nose, my PCP suggested…read morean ENT because she could only see so far in my ears and nose with her scope, and she couldn't see anything concerning. I went to Paul Young, didn't see him, which is fine, but the NP that I saw didn't do anything my PCP didn't do and immediately suggested a nasal ablation and went on a sales pitch about how Dr. Young does them in the office. Felt like they "sell" that to everyone. She also couldn't see anything concerning- so why suggest this procedure? And for the plugged ears, she suggested I get a hearing test but they don't perform them. What kind of ENT can't do a hearing test in the office? Long story short- useless and total waste of time and money. Just got a $350.00 bill, after insurance for literally nothing.

I am diabetic and had 3 bouts of cancer. Dr Sheriff has seen me through it all. His staff also is wonderful. Nurses take direct calls and respond back quickly with answers or appointments. I am very appreciative of the great care I receive from Dr Sheriff and all the staff at Amherst Medical Associates.

As a patient of the headache clinic I have to say Rachel and Michelle are truly the best. Kind,…read morecaring and empathic but if you need anything not done by them you will not receive any help. I had a sleep study ordered in October and I was told someone would call me which they did in March. And that was after I left multiple messages asking to schedule. A new medication prescribed on March 25th that required prior was not done until a month later and that wasn't due to Anthem BCBS or my pharmacy not advising Dent of this but because the nurse forgot. If I hadn't asked the nurse about another medication for my migraines the auth would never have been done. When I called to schedule my MRI the first available was 5 weeks out. Due to my claustrophobia I always have sedation which has been done by the nurses at Dent. When I scheduled the imaging I was told to arrive 1/2 an hour early for the sedation. Imagine my surprise when I get there to be told the sedation was actually sent to my pharmacy something the woman scheduling nor the nurse at dent told me was being done. The receptionist was unable to reschedule it because "dent doesn't train front desk on scheduling just check in and to call back to reschedule". After all of this I called early this morning and left a message for Kristen one of the managers. Instead of calling me back she had Mary Grace do it because as Mary Grace said Kristen was too busy to talk to me. I understand now I am just a paycheck for the staff at dent. With a high deductible plan I get text messages and a phone call prior to any visit about the cost for "care" and to make sure I have money in hand. I know I'm just a number to Dent but I would have hoped that they see patients as actual people and not just as dollar signs
