We ordered a floor model bed and we inspected the actual furniture pieces prior to sale and any discrepancies were documented on the ticket. We understood that there would be flaws. However, a day or two after the bed had been delivered and assembled one of the side panels slipped out of place and that's when we realized that not all the screws had been tightened all the way and some screws were missing. The salesman and store were not helpful after a text and call. We ended up fixing the bed ourselves. read more

They don't deliver, they don't assemble and IF they deliver they charge $200 to deliver .3 of a mile. I have never had to assemble my own furniture from a furniture store, nor have I ever had to pay for a local delivery! No wonder brick and mortar stores are closing! Why bother?! read more

Do not shop here we received are furniture one couch broke on its way into the house by the delivery men 30 minutes after they left the other couch broke. I asked for a pick up and a full refund. By far the worse furniture I have ever purchased. I would run the other way from this store. Purchased a leather couch from them, within a year it was ripping, and even though I had purchase an extended warranty they called it normal tear and wear and claimed that I had not taken care of the couch properly with leather conditioner. I will never EVER, buy from them again. One year old furniture should not be ripping apart, I have no kids at home and no pets. Thinking of reporting them to BBB. read more

The first time we were here the sales lady (who was new) was great, she was friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. If she didn't know the answer she went to find it. (Only reason for three stars) We just went in again today to purchase a new mattress, unfortunately we ended up with a different sales associate. She was rude, put out by our questions and wasted our time. We told her from the beginning that we wanted to buy a mattress and take it home today, she said it wasn't a problem to get it if it was in stock. She waited until we were about to pay and told us it could only be delivered because it was in a warehouse in another city (which we would be charged for). After her attitude we thanked her for her time and walked out. We won't be purchasing anything from them. read more

I worked with Pam F. from Kloss Furiture and Outlet, in Highland, IL, concerning my purchase of my new Beautyrest Black Hybrid Mattress and the premium adjustable frame. She was phenomenal. I am handicap due to multiple reasons, but three of them are a crushed T12 Vertebrae, six hip surgeries, and level 3 Fibromyalgia-peripheral neuropathy. As a result, choosing the exact mattress to help these and other health issues like Acid Reflux, one must factor these into the decision making. When dealing with multiple type of medical issues, along with the worst of all, (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome CRPS/RSD), you spend a lot more time in bed then anywhere else! But, when I started talking Pam about purchasing a new mattress, the very first thing that she said was, "I will need to ask you some personal questions, if you don't feel comfortable answering them, I understand; but they are very pertinent when buying a new bed!" I said "okay." I couldn't believe a mattress salesperson was asking me all these medical questions. They never ask me all this when I bought my Sleep Number Bed (which I loved for about four years, then hated it from there on; for multiple reasons), same is true with my last purchase of a bed; at a different furniture store. Well, the reason was, because Pam wasn't just a general salesperson, like the others; who just sold me a bed. Pam, was truly a professional and subject expert; in her field! She was able to match me up with a bed that is set up for individuals who have all of my aforementioned ailments. The remote for the adjustable frame, actually has a Zero-G setting, snore setting, and etc. Kloss Furiture and Outlet is not in the business to just sell you any product, they are there to find the exact fit for you, so that your experience is the best that it can possibly be. This contentment continued through the delivery process too! The delivery people from Kloss Furiture and Outlet, called me when they where about 15 minutes away from arriving to my home. Once here, they came and introduced themselves and looked at everything, and asked if I had any special concerns. Then, the two young men ask about things such as "let's figure out the best height of the bed for you." We don't want you to have to climb up and into your bed, nor do we want you to feel like you are sleeping on the floor! Plus, they discussed about how there is usually a cold draft that is low to the floor. Also, if the bed is too high and your not able to sit comfortably on the edge of your bed. They also took extra precautions not to mark up my wood flooring, while coming in. Heavy duty blankets were placed on every corner, so they didn't put any marks on my walls. Finally, after the bed was assembled, they showed me how everything works with the remote, made sure that I didn't have any additional questions. And, that I was completely happy with where everything was placed.They cleaned up everything while exiting my home. Within 10 minutes of the delivery, gentlemen leaving, I received a call from Mike at the Kloss Furiture and Outlet Store. He called to make sure that I didn't have any concerns, questions, and if everything went to my satisfaction. I explained to Mike that to this point, "I have never, in my 50 years, experienced this type of professionalism and thoroughness in any purchases that I have made." I sincerely believe that Kloss Furiture and Outlet and I, are off to what seems to be a long and enjoyable relationship! read more

Asshats! Truly sold stuff they don't know or understand. Promised things they didn't deliver. No clue how to manage. Sure if you know what you're purchasing and get a better price then fine and handle your business, but don't buy from this place if are doing it for promises and service. Long winded post and still waiting.....We had a great salesperson that was very helpful. Where kloss dropped the ball is with the time I was told it would take to receive my furniture. 4 weeks is what I was lead to believe. We purchased our furniture on September 2nd. October 2nd rolls around and I still have not been called for delivery or the whereabouts of my furniture. I call Kloss and they tell me it is looking like the end of the month before my sectional and table will be in. November rolls around and I have no phone call from them for delivery or how the furniture is coming along. So I make the call to them and they say they have had my sectional in but are waiting on my table to arrive from China. So at this point I'm upset because I've had one chair in my living room for the family to sit on. They tell me that they will deliver the sectional and table at separate times. I'm fine with that because at least I'll have something for everyone to relax on. After the sectional gets delivered and set up we see that the extra pillows we bought are not the correct pillows. We talk with customer service and they set it up to where we had to drive into the store and pick up the correct pillows. which is annoying because we've been waiting two months at this point. Couple that with the fact that we spend over 4 grand with them. Today is 11/27 and we still have not received our table or a call from Kloss as to where the table is. So.... if you like waiting for 3 months to get your furniture I strongly recommend Kloss for all of your shopping needs. If you don't like waiting that long then I recommend shopping at a different retailer. read more

I bought a couch the sales lady said it was ok and not bent. Took months for them to fix it. After the repairs it still wasnt fixed. Week later the motors for the recliner part went out. Dont recomend this place worst buy I've ever had. Lesson learned read more

I have been shopping for furniture all around this area. And thus far Kloss has not disappointed me with their selective collection of furniture. They seem to carry a lot more quality furniture than most places I've gone too. I love he fact they carry Bassett furniture. I had a set and it lasted for a good amount of years, cats and kids. read more

I ordered furniture 7 weeks ago and still have not received my furniture. When I purchased the furniture I was informed of a 4 week order time. At 4 weeks I was told 6 weeks, at 6 weeks I was told one more week. And still NO FURNITURE!! We are a military family and Relocating in August and are out of time....with no furniture. My advise do not order from Kloss they are dishonest and uninformed about their own products. When I complain to the employees no one seems care. Take your money to a business that will fulfill their promise and provide decent customer service. read more

Kloss Furniture just delivered my couch, loveseat, leather chair with ottoman tables and an area rug. I am so excited to have new furniture after 20 plus years! Makes the room look inviting. Let me start with "I love their furniture". However, their customer service can use some work. Although the buying experience was descent, when it came to delivery and setup it was terrible. First off, they did not deliver our entire purchase. We were supposed to get a king size bed, dining room table and chairs. They broke the bed setting it up, forgot the table extensions and it was going to be at least 2 more weeks to receive replacement items. This was after waiting 6 weeks for the initial delivery. Once we finally received the bed, the second setup crew did a great job, but our dining table extensions were not on the truck. They called it in and said we would hear something the next day. A week later, I finally called to inquire. The sales rep couldn't do a thing and said he would have to contact a manger. However, they only work on weekdays and I called on Saturday. So 8 weeks after our purchase, we are still waiting to get everything. We will see if they finally call back Monday. read more

I ordered a beautiful red recliner. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. I felt the need to call twice to check on order. Having that communication helped, I didn't want to be forgotten. My third call I was told it was available. Not sure how long it had been there, but it was then I scheduled the delivery. It arrived on time and in beautiful shape. We had a great experience buying a kitchen table with Kloss. Our salesman Kipp was amazing! We walked in The store and we had already looked at many stores for a kitchen table, but they had just the one we were looking for and Kipp wasn't high pressure or anything. He just asked if we needed any help, and he llet us look by ourselves and didn't keep following us around. We picked out a table and we had it custom built and he text me a several times to make sure that he got it right. He worked with us so well and made sure that I was updated at all times on the delivery and any changes with the order. It's weird because normally I hate buying furniture, but this was a really great experience. Next time I go furniture shopping I'm going to start at Kloss. read more

I'm only giving this a one star review because of Zach at the O'Fallon location and the delivery guys. My fiancé and I ordered furniture on New Years Day. It is currently May, and we still don't have some of our furniture because of Kloss' errors. We ordered an Amish king sized bed, 2 night stands, a dresser, a chest, an entertainment center, a couch, a dining room table set, and a coffee table. The day before the delivery in March, I got a call saying the couch had "wonky" sewing, so they were going to fix that. It would take about a month to fix. Ok, that sucks, but whatever. Delivery day come and our Amish bed comes as a Queen. This furniture takes about 3 months to make anyway, so we were going to have to wait another 3 months to get it, but they were going to expedite it. It had been about 2 months and we still hadn't heard anything about the couch. My fiancé called to ask the progress of it, and Kloss said everything was actually ready. We scheduled delivery. The day before delivery I called them to verify everything coming because of our past issues. I asked if the couch was fixed and the lady said she'd call me back after she found out. Sure enough, it wasn't. IT HAD BEEN SITTING THERE FOR TWO MONTHS AND NOBODY HAD FIXED IT. I will never shop here again. After all of the money we spent here and the time we've wasted, I wouldn't recommend their bathroom to anyone at this point. Customer service is a ZERO. Don't waste your time. read more
