I just had an amazing experience at the JCPenney store in Mokena, IL. I had photos taken by an…read morephotographer there. I wanted photos of my mom and I as well as couples photos of my husband and I . The photographer Rachel was very thorough by explaining packages and pricing options and also making me aware of any promotions and offers that are currently available. I was pleased with the photos and the options she offered in addition to receptiveness to some of my ideas that I wanted to capture in some of the photos. The photo shoot was very enjoyable and now I have some beautiful memories of important people in my life thanks to the photo representative.

Once ordered I received updates from their customer service via phone and emails. The order took about a week to get to the store. I received a hone call and an email stating the order was ready to pickup. So far everything was fine until I went to the store and had to interact with the staff. So when I walked in the store there were 2 young girls just standing in front of the checkout counter. One of them said very dryly asked can I help you? I told her I was there to pick up an online order. She than just looked at me and made a face. So i was confused and asked what was the face for? She responded they don't do that. I was like who don't do what? She then said Shiekh shoes does not do in store pick ups. Now I'm confused and I tell her well I received a phone call and an email to pick up my order in the store. She then just walked away. She went over to lady that was walking up and said so she (me) is her to pick up an order, is there an order? The lady immediately said I have to check she did not once say they dont do that. The young girl than just waled away and started randomly wiping a mirror. By this point Im annoyed because this little girl didnt know what she was talking about and her attitude was stank. The lady she asked about the order went to the back and in less than 10 seconds came back with my order. So the information that little girl was speaking was false. And once i saw this it left a bad taste in my mouth. If i do order something again I will just have it shipped to my home.

After five minutes, I finally ask the cashier if it's all one line, she says yes. Why couldn't she tell me that out of her peripheral vision? Or ask me if I needed help with something? I'm not God's gift to the world, but I work customer service and if I see a person standing outside of the line, I'd at least acknowledge them. So then, I have to go to the back of this long line and wait 15 more minutes because of an online order that I should have been able to pick up and go in at least five minutes. If this store is it going to implement online order pick ups, they shouldn't have it at all!!!

The displays are nicely put and look attractive. All in all, professional. If you plan on making a purchase online, I suggest going to the store first (and buying from there instead, actually) because you can see what you're actually buying, also you save shipping charges ($8-10) unless you're spending over $100 (not including tax). Also, if the item happens to be out-of-stock at the location and you need to place an order through the store, the shipping charge is waived. How perfect is that! Most importantly, there was a special sale going on at the store that wasn't going on online. Anyway, I placed an order on Monday, March 5th (Miller bag in Mocha Rouge) and my order arrived at home on Friday, March 9th. Although I wasn't able to check my tracking online, I had to call the store to track it. The lady took my name and number and said she would call back. Later that day my order arrived before she even called me, so I was pleasantly surprised! My bag is strong and gorgeous and I'm in love with it!!
