Okay, this review is LOOONNNGGGG overdue!! I found out about KLUR.co via Yelp in January of 2018. I reached out and connected with Lesley (the owner) and was hoping to book a facial in preparation for a film I would be shooting. At the time my skin was severely broken out, irritated, and inflamed, just days before my shoot so I was kind of freaking out! I thought a facial would help. However, I spoke with Lesley over the phone and she quickly assessed the situation. Let me start by saying that Lesley, from jump, spoke to me like an old friend, its like she was giving me all of her knowledge for nothing in return. She took her time and was SO in depth with me. She studied the products I was using and knew exactly what the issue was. She said I was already over doing it with my products -- which is why my face was breaking out to begin with. She advised me NOT to get a treatment at all and that I should address the source of the problem, which was my harsh skincare routine. At the time I was currently using a regime by Dr. Lancer and it was much too strong. (Apparently the exfoliator that you are supposed to use EVERYDAY has baking soda in it and it was literally removing the protective layer of my skin, doing more harm than good! FYI- just because a certain skincare routine works for a celebrity does NOT mean it is meant for you!) After our call Lesley met with me and I purchased a couple KLUR products. I got the Immersion Serum and Stellar Restoration Serum to help with the current inflammation and dryness. I only spot treated with the Stellar restoration at night, which is a multi-vitamin serum with retinol, salicylic acid and other soothing ingredients. Literally, OVERNIGHT the bumps and blemishes started to disappear and within a couple of days they were GONE completely!! In the daytime I used the Immersion serum - ugh - how I LOVE the Immersion serum! Its also a multi-vitamin serum with Hyaluronic Acid that instantly plumps and hydrates the skin. To this day I can't believe how different my skin looked 3 days before my shoot to how it looked on shoot day! So after filming I made an appt with her to do a full regime consultation and to reset my entire routine and this was game changer. She started off by watching me wash my face and little did I know that I was using way too much water every time I washed... for basically my entire life! Lol. She then told me exactly what I should be using on my face and gave me samples of her products. She also recommended other brands that I could use at a more affordable price. Not once did I think this was a "sales meeting"... in fact, she told me "I don't care if I ever buy my products - this is what you should be doing for your face". She took so much time and energy just to help me! She has been like my beauty-fairy-god-mother!! Let's jump to Oct 2019 - I contacted Lesley well over a year later after I had met her originally. Let me start off by saying that I DID try other brands at more affordable prices, and I even tried other popular brands that my friends had recommended to me, I basically was just trying things out for that entire year. Well, I eventually came back to Lesley and the Klur brand because I could not find a Hyaluronic Acid serum ANYWHERE near as good as her Immersion serum!! (At the time I think it was around $68 - now I think it is $70.) I love the simple glass bottles and the soft-touch box it comes in. Everything about the brand feels natural, healthy, curated, and classy. The ingredients are all CLEAN - you won't find a ton of nasty chemicals in any one of her products. I ended up getting another Stellar Restoration serum and added her Gentle Matter cleanser to the list. Again, in my "year of trying other brands out" NOTHING transformed my skin as quickly as the Klur products. To this day I not only use the cleanser and two of the serums, but I have a wealth of knowledge on how I should treat my skin and what I should avoid. To be fair I have not had a KLUR facial because once I got my routine together I didn't need it! However, I would highly recommend anyone who doesn't have a solid routine to get in touch with Lesley for a skincare regime consultation... this is exactly what I needed and the knowledge she has bestowed upon me will stay with me FOREVER! I am SO incredibly grateful for Lesley and her Klur products - you will not find another esthetician as genuine as Lesley, or products as clean and powerful as the Klur brand! read more

I've been coming to Lesley since 2017 and I am so glad to have found someone who truly cares about you and your skin! I was introduced to her by a friend that uses Klur and at the time we were carrying her line at a boutique in Silverlake. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars because my facials with Lesley are nothing but amazing! She takes her time throughout the entire facial and educates you on what she's putting on your skin & what its purpose is. The facials I've had with her have all been customized to my skin and what my skin is needing. No two facials are the same. Lesley is so dedicated and passionate about what she does--completely knowledgeable on the ingredients she's using. Also!!! She's very quick to respond to my DM's/texts if I ever have a question about what I need to be using on my face etc. I'm a huge fan of her Gentle Matter cleanser! This cleanser alone has completely transformed my skin, after I use it I feel my skin so much cleaner and the nice thing is that it doesn't EVER leave my skin dry. I've also used her Stellar Restoration serum which honestly... is hands down the best serum. Using the Gentle Matter and Stellar Restoration together are essential to my skin care routine and I literally could never see myself using anything else. If you ever need a body oil, I also highly suggest her Elements of Comfort. It smells divine! I finally did it, I pulled the trigger and booked my appointment to get a microcurrent facial from Lesley. I don't know why I waited as long as I did but sometimes life just happens. It's four days later and people are still asking me what did I do differently to my skin! The best part about the whole experience was she takes her time, she never made me feel rushed, she never made me feel like you should know what's going on and she was open to answering any and all of my questions. There is something very soothing and also extremely refreshing when the products used are equally fantastic. Never once was she trying to sell me on anything, rather the whole time she educated me and gave great insight on skin wellbeing. This may sound cliché but if there would 10 stars in here, I would just give her the sky. She is phenomenal. To be honest, she is the third (and will be my last) esthetician that I've seen and so far she's done a job well done on my face and my self-esteem. She understands what you're going through, she listens to you and most importantly, she doesn't do a half-ass job like other people out there who actually charge more. I believe that in order to get the skin that you want, you need to find the right esthetician combined with your determination, discipline in doing the routine for your face and a healthy lifestyle. But what makes Lesley stand out is here PASSION and her HER HUGE HEART that's actually after her clients' best. I honestly don't know where to begin. Let's just say that I had given up on my skin. My good friend had told me about Lesley. My friend had actually invited me to accompany her on her consultation. I couldn't go due to work. She told me about her experience and how awesome Lesley was, and how the environment was very welcoming, also the PRICES! Because He also has made educated, wonderful, passionate, beautiful souled people like Lesley, that actually care, and want to help others. Lesley is an angel. She has a gift. She has the power to help you help yourself. She does not just go into work during your sessions, she engages in conversation and gets to know you. She's not at all in it for the money like other people are. Lesley will walk with you throughout the process. She keeps in contact with you. You can call her, text her, or even show up! "Just pop up!" she says, laughing out loud. She's attacks the problem and soothes it at the same time. "Yes you will breakout more, but that's good, the bacteria is coming out." She is a warrior and she will help fight with you. And I love that about her. Not only does she have her sessions, but she has product. All kinds of amazing product! You get a strict regimen you stick to it and it works! Lesley is also very generous. She will add a few things just to help you out. Who does that? NO ONE! but LESLEY! And on the way home you don't run into valet, the evaluator, or business people, you know all the eyes you try to avoid after a facial. lol I don't know what else to say, but that Lesley is heaven sent and worth your time and worth every penny plus more. Trust that you are in good hands. Don't give up. Keep positive. There is a clear face that we've always imagined. And go see Lesley! My results... I now have clear skin and am working on scars with micro derm. Thats honestly why I went to her in the first place, but she told me in order to do that I must get the acne under control. And so it is... under control with smooth skin. I am so ecstatic! I dont have to pile on makeup and I can go bare with out getting stares! I always knew I was pretty, but I never really felt it. Let me start by saying that 5 stars doesn't even begin to describe how amazing and lovely Lesley is! I started going to Lesley in August due to all the positive reviews I read on Yelp. Although my acne problem was minimal, I was getting irritated at how often I'd pick at my face and essentially leave icky acne scars behind. I was also getting tired of all the products that did not show the results I hoped for after months of trying them out, so I knew I had to seek a professional! Boy am I sooo happy that I found Lesley. That same day that I read her Yelp reviews, I tried to make a same-day appointment (although jeez, looking back now I should have given her a heads-up first!) BUT despite how she could have easily told me to come in some other day, she did her best to find the best time for me to come that SAME day and kept constant communication with me through text. In the end, I did get the last appointment of the day and she walked me through her facial process and products for my specific skin type. Its been more than a month and WOW!! I have seen faster and better results with Lesley than any products that I've used since I was 14 years old... I'm not even joking! I must say that from the beginning to the end, my experience with Lesley has been nothing short than amazing! Lesley is a great at what she does- which is skin! When I first started seeing Lesley I had extremely bad acne and my breakouts were just out of control. But I got an appointment quickly after calling that fit with my schedule. And while she was waxing my back... I fell asleep. I'll try to make a long story semi-short. I had Stage 4 Lymphoma six years ago. Ever since, I have experienced awful breakouts that were finally diagnosed as "acne rosacia", despite never having either prior to my chemo treatments of 9 months back in 2006/07. I'm caucasian and I don't have problem (acne-prone) skin but I do have sunspots (a lot) and some wrinkles from dehydration around my mouth, my eyes and on my forehead so I thought to go to an esthetician the day before I was to appear in court. Leslie gave me the pumpkin peel and a microderm as well as a super-awesome (and badly needed) moisture mask. The results were amazing. My skin wasn't red or irritated or anything - just glowing! Her products shrunk my pores, gave my skin a bright, clear radiance and left the deepest layers of my skin feeling hydrated and resilient. I really liked Leslie, too. Lesley is one word: MAGIC. Earlier this year I had the unfortunate luck of coming down with shingles on the right side of my face (V2 section to be exact). It left me with pigmented spots on my upper lip and on my cheek - things I've never had before! Then to make things worse, after I healed from shingles I started to break out! It was TERRIBLE! So after visiting my friend in LA, he suggested Lesley (luckily she was available that day). I wasn't expecting to have a facial that day, but she spent a good amount of time talking to me about my face and gave me a very in depth facial. After that first facial my face looked TONS better - only a matter of days later. My fiance commented on just how much better my face was looking after one visit and using her lotions and potions. From then on I was hooked! She then advised me on my concerns with my pigmentation and suggested peels to help lessen their appearance. Lesley is my skin guru! I've only been to her twice now, but she definitely delivers results. I have always had oily/combination skin and I go through stages of breakouts on and off; some years ok, some years not so great. 2014 has been one of those bad years. Could be hormonal, could be the barrage products I've used on my face to fix it, but the reasons for it are moot because Lesley has cleared it up! I've never seen my skin so soft and smooth. I have never wrote a yelp review but feel I need to write one about Lesley and her amazing products 'klurskin'. I started going to Lesley 2 months ago when I had nearly given up all hope of having clear skin. I got adult acne a year ago after never really having any problems with my skin in the past. Lesley is a miracle worker, wizard, magician, etc. Words cannot begin to express the appreciation I have for her. I had a surgery that effected my hormones, and my skin went crazy. I tried EVERYTHING for over a year, until I accepted that nothing external would work. Then I found Lesley and she proved me wrong. 24 hours after my first facial, my skin was 90% clear. I had some redness and itching (which she carefully explained to me would happen), but WHO CARES. My skin was almost completely clear a day later. Life. Changing. I sincerely am so grateful for Lesley and what she has done for me. I have a severe hormonal problem and it really did a number on my face. I thought it could only be cured internally but I was wrong. She has been very gentle with my skin and knows how to hydrate it. Her extractions are my favorite part! I've been seeing Lesley for about 4 months on a continual basis (twice a month) for a microdermabrasion. My face has never looked better. Lots of compliments: even from strangers. First off, let me start with saying that Leslie is just great at what she does. She definitely took the time to look at my skin, ask me questions about my struggle with acne and acne scars. I started breaking out horribly when I started college in 2011. I would get about 6 pimples daily. And for that reason, I started using so many products on my face, which was a huge mistake. Over the next couple of years my face had just lost coloration, my acne had stopped but I was left with red marks, some which turned into acne scars. I went to a skin clinic where they performed a laser procedure to reduce my acne scars. However, I paid over a grand for that procedure, which unfortunately did not do the trick to reduce my acne scars. When I read about Leslie on yelp, I decided that I needed to give her a try. She suggested microdermabrasion, which she has performed on me twice already and I must say she has done a great job! My friends who are currently struggling with acne have noticed how much my face has healed since my breakouts. They call me their "inspiration" lol. Let me just say that Leslie is wonderful and has earned every one of her 5 stars! The space she works out of is like walking into a New York loft. You feel right at home. Then there's a separate area where she does her magic that is very clean and professional. She takes time to get to know you and your skin and works wonders on oily skin. She then offered to tint my eyebrows since I no longer live near the place I used to go to and though I am really picky about whom I let mess with the color, I felt I could trust her. She was thorough and made sure the color was just right (I'm a redhead so that's not easy). They never looked better! I will definitely be going to her on a regular basis. This is the second time I have reached out to Lesley to schedule an appointment. She doesn't answer her phone when I call, or return VM messages. And when I try to text her she asks who I am, and when I respond and ask if she has any availability she doesn't reply. This really bums me out because I've read such great reviews about how wonderful she is, and her location is very convenient for me. But if this is the way she treats her potential clients then I would rather take my business elsewhere. read more

I was referred to her from a friend for her acne creams, which have actually worked the best for my skin. I was so disappointed when I found out that she moved, but pleasantly surprised to find out it's such a convenient location! Lesley is amazing!! I came to see her last night on a whim after reading the great reviews here and it was an excellent decision. I'm almost reluctant to add to the stellar reviews because I'd rather keep her for myself. She's so thorough, totally pampers her clients, is really flexible on time and generally just sweet and fun. Her studio is really cool - I could totally live there! I spent an hour and a half with her and I wanted to hang out longer. I have keratosis pilaris on my cheeks, and Lesley was able to significantly decrease the redness as well as smooth out the skin. I've been to three different dermatologists, used countless ointments, and done three rounds of laser with no success. But sure enough, this morning there was a noticeable difference. I have never enjoyed or been a fan of facials... I am also not a fan of taking care of my skin. And then I was referred to Lesley. This is the first time in my life that I have seen immediate results from a facial and the benefits of following a regimen which Lesley put me on.
