Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. True to it's name, you may choose four protein items from a rather luxurious selection which come with at least a dozen or more accoutrements for you to mix and match as you like. Definitely an experience... and a fun one, at that. We chose the short ribs, shrimp, rib eye and lobster. Toppings included various spiced sauces (jalapeno, habanero, chile de arbol and more), different pickled cabbage salads, a fruit based salsa, and a sauce made with chapulines (grasshopper). A basket of small, handmade, soft corn tortillas were also brought out warm to the table. My only regret is that I forgot to get a photo of everything! Everything was well prepared, delicious and we were decidedly full at the end, but not before they brought out fresh churros for my birthday...which were hands down the best I've ever had. Trickiest question you'll get is "harina" or "maiz" which means flour or corn tortilla :) You can pay with card now. They also accepted dollars. We paid in pesos so I don't know if there's some convenience fees associated with the card or dollars. The order comes with salsas and cucumbers and limes and onions. So no need to worry about how to order those goodies. The ambiance is local for sure. Some soccer playing on the TV and lots of families.
