    Thursday is the new Friday!!

One of our favorite places along the corridor. The Al pastor is simply the best, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and an ice cold beer with a great view and great service from Amelia. Far enough away from downtown that it's just a great local spot.

Aguachiles verdes - I recommend asking for some tostadas on the side and some mayo. That's my favorite way to eat it

Walking distance if you're staying at any of the Riu resorts. My wife and I had been wanting some good seafood ( agua chiles and ceviche) saw this little place and the vibe is cute. If you're looking for great tasting seafood, welcoming service and games to play while eating there, I recommend this place. I'm Hispanic and super picky when it comes to fresh seafood so this is 10/10! Come to La taquiza!

My friend and I got tacos every chance we had in Cabo. Being in Seattle robs you of opportunities to get good tacos so we were a little desperate. We got a little hungry late night so we decided to stop for taco at La Taquiza. I really wanted the flan here but unfortunately they were sold out at that time. I remember trying the fish and beef taco -- they were decent. I know Cabo is a tourity place, but this restaurant felt especially so.

Even though this open air restuaant is alongside the highway, so the ambiance sucks, the food is outstanding. They don't offer chips, bit the sausa plate has everything needed to dress up their vast range of tacos. They also make killer margaritass! Wimpy Americanos should stick with Taco Bell, otherwise you will be in for a treat at La Taquiza!

Went here 3 times this trip! Twice just for tacos and 3rd time we got enchiladas and chile relleno. Enchilada plate comes with 4 enchiladas! The chile relleno was massive! Will definitely get both again next time.

While the fish taco has gone down hill the food here is still good. Fish taco isn't fresh or crispy compared to years past. Love their salsa!!! But quality of food has degraded but still good

Cake they surprised us with my my birthday!!!

Service was amazing!!! Armando our server was FANTASTIC!!! He was on top of it!! Super friendly and truly focused on making a great personal connection!! The grapefruit/orange margarita was DELICIOUS!!! Not to mention the ambiance??? AMAZINGGGG!!! Definitely recommend this place!! I would definitely come again!! 15/10

Best margarita of my life! Order the house. Margarita it comes with orange, grapefruit, lime, it's delicious! Armando is the best server. He is amazing and friendly.

Good spot for some tacos. Find them directly across the Highway from Costco. Food was good, drink was average and service was solid. Went here thinking we could get a great view of the beach and the arch. Unfortunately, there's only one spot in the restaurant to get the view. Overall a decent little place.

One of my favorite meals I had throughout my trip to Cabo. Located across the road from Costco is this beautiful tropical pink restaurant and pretty lights you won't miss. The staff was accommodating to our group of nine and informative of items on the menu we were unfamiliar with. They start everyone with a platter of salsas ranging from mild to the most spiciest one in the middle. We also got chips and guac, which we devoured within the next few minutes of receiving it. The aguachile was presented beautifully, and although I couldn't eat the shrimp, heard it was amazing. I had a cheese crust with flank steak and it was filling and so savory! My group also ordered a margarita which was presented in a giant punch like bowl. I had some and it was pretty strong, you definitely need people to help finish. La Taquiza is one of the restaurants I recommend if you're in the area. The staff is so great and I have great memories of the start of my Cabo trip here.

    The BIG ass menu!

It was something to chew on. We got lost and never found where we tried to go, saw this on the way and decided to give them a try. I'm a picky eater, and they had a very large menu with seemingly endless options which a a god thing. The staff & service was amazing as is the Norm is Mexico. I order what I felt you cant go wrong with and that's steak fajitas...they said it was an appetizer and I was hungry so I also ordered the aguachiles which I love love love! They were meals on their own to say the meat and way too much for one. The aguachiles were amazing and tasty, but the steak fajitas had 6 times as much vegetables than meat and half the meat wasn't edible. When I say not edible, it literally couldn't be chewed, I'm not sure if it was fat or tendons, but everyone other bite I couldn't chew the meat and I can't eat like that. 2 Others in the group ordered the enchiladas which they weren't too pleased with and another the flair as which they say were just ok. Overall I'm sure there were plenty of tasty items on the menu so I will consider that in reviewing them. If you are a picky eat like me, maybe stick to what you know when ordering here. Let me be clear the aguachiles was deelish, so I know they have better items for the taste buds :)

We'll be back, that's for sure. Server was extremely friendly and helpful with assisting us with lunch recommendations. I settled on the pastor taco and the cheese crisp taco with flank steak (or arracherra). SO good. I wasn't a huge fan of the rice but my husband loved his beans. The mango tuna tostada was SO good and massively large for the pricing of everything. He enjoyed his spicy margarita and I loved my Paloma. You'll notice that the plates came out with cling wrap around them, it was to deter flies (perk of outdoor eating). Everything was quick out of the kitchen though and delicious. For the crazy amount of food we got, we spent $40 including the tip.

The staff was welcoming, fun, and professional, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Their recommendation to order the appetizer sampler was spot on--the fundido, quesadilla, empanadas, and sopes were all fantastic and perfect for sharing. The carnitas were unbelievably tender and full of flavor, while the sea bass had everyone at the table raving. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert stole the show! The flan was silky smooth, the churros were warm and crispy, and the tres leches tequila cake was an absolute must-try. To top it all off, the cocktails were creative, beautifully presented, and just as delicious as the food. But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.
