Jerk Burger jerk Salmon (jerk) Oxtail
    Leah G.

The food was fresh and tasty the customer service is excellent and the pineapple ginger drink is to die for absolutely delicious!! Ambiance is intimate and beautiful!

Where's the meat?? For $27. Oxtail coco bread sandwich

I saw the oxtail coco bread sand walking up to the front door. i paid $27 for this sandwich to get home and not even have a full sandwich. so disappointed. The price for a sandwich that did not deliver. My first time here will not return!!!

Ommmggggg so delicious! Their beef patty (not featured) was so good I ate it before I could take a picture. It had a nice meat ratio and a nice flakiness to it. The Jerk wing's AMAZIIIING! The smoke flavor, tender meat falling off the bone and jerk heat!!! My only brine was the rice and peas as it was very bland and the rice almost was over cooked. But if I had the jerk sauce on top I wouldn't be complaining about the rice too much. The customer service was okay. The lady ringing me up was on the phone for a very long time but she had to take orders so I understood. The price was fair and they have dine in options and the restaurant is very nice inside. I will definitely come back and visit.

Man oh Man, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place.  My co-worker and I was heading to St. Mary's Restuarant because that was the only place we knew of to grab Jamaican food in the area. While walking to St. Mary's we noticed a small sign on the sidewalk that said 5 Jerk Wings for $7.50.  We looked up and noticed the sign belong to Hibiscus Restaurant.  While standing there I did a quick Google search, saw the 4.5-star ratings and told my coworker let's give them a try! We were greeted immediately upon entering with smiles from the guy behidn the counter and the cook.  We came in wanting to order the Jerk Chicken wings we saw advertised but once I smelled the aroma of curry, spices, and all types of goodness we decided to add a little more to our orders. The gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to let us sample the brown stewed chicken, curry chicken, oxtails and housemade BBQ sauce.  We were SOLD on every single thing we tried. So in addition to the jerk chicken wings, between the two of us, we also ordered Brown Stewed Chicken, Jerk Burger, Curry chicken, 2 Jerk Chicken patties and 3 Beef panties.  Lunch and dinner for the both of us. The Jerk Wings were Spicy ... just an FYI We left singing their praises with promises to spend the word about how good the food is and promises to come back.  The owners are sooooo kind.  The restaurant itself is spotless.  The dining area is beautiful, this is more than a regular ole' carryout.  It is a nice seat down restaurant where the love of cooking is shown in the food and service.  Returnign soon with friends for oxtails, curry chicken and to try the ribs and Coco Bread.  The Coco Bread is baked in-house.  Whattttt?!!  *Insert Happy dance*

I've only taken one bite and had to stop to let it cool down and came here to share that I already know before getting to the bottom of my plate that I made an amazing decision today. I called in to place a pick up order and was greeted very nicely, I made my order and wasn't given an exact time but arrived about 10 minutes after placing my order. I only waited for 5 extra minutes and was more than fine with that. I ordered the jerk salmon with rice and peas and cabbage and got a pineapple ginger drink. I mean foreall... why aren't you already on your way? The have space to dine in and there are tvs and good music playing. I would def come and dine in to be wheelbarrowed out after. I'm so looking forward to this being my new lunch spot and exploring more of the menu starting with curry goat.

Same small when you walk in, but then you noticed that there's a space for people to sit on the left. Went with my daughter and we enjoyed it. We had curry chicken and jerk chicken took about 10 to 15 minutes, but it was worth the wait.

    Ambiance of seating area.

Great food, although I wish there were Butterbeans at this location. The service was very warm, welcoming, and friendly. The ambiance was very relaxing and intimate. A great lil mini vacation. O

The spot was clean and neat. The service was good. The food was tasty. Would definitely have to go back to get a better idea of their menu but so far so good.

Friendly family bbq restaurant. I had bar b que ribs with mac n cheese and plantains. Ribs were perfect soft smoked with grilled exterior. Owner came out to talk. His daughter said hes from south america. Very nice. They have outlets for laptops at tables and a serene waterfall. Large portions at inexpensive prices will bring me back.

The restaurant is easy to find, with close-by paid parking. I tried the sample plate with curry chicken, white rice, and cabbage. The curry chicken was flavorful and tender -- truly delicious! The cabbage was seasoned just right, adding that authentic Caribbean touch. I was a little surprised to receive white rice instead of rice & peas (which I usually expect with Caribbean dishes), so that was a little disappointing. I was expecting $18 value platter but received a ($15) value platter. It appears it may come alive at night -- with a DJ, happy hour specials, and a lounge vibe. Overall, Caribbean Dynasty offers great flavors, friendly service for a grab a go lunch order .

We are not native to Maryland but was Hungary after the R&B event on the Water. The Restaurant was not crowded when we arrived but had to wait over an hour for our food. Our order was simple. We had 3 order of Wingettes (Lemon Pepper, Honey Lemon Pepper, Thai Chili & Old Bay), Rice & Beans, Chicken Pattie and Coco Bread. Only Wingettes worth the time was the normal Lemon Pepper. They were Fried & seasoned perfectly. They also were a decent size. The other Wingettes were overcooked and lacking flavor. Maybe they looked so small because of how overcooked they were. We waited too long to send them back and risk waiting another hour!!! I've had some delicious Honey Lemon Pepper and this had no semblance of it. I tasted some Honey & it was from the plate and not the wingette. The Rice & Beans was dry. The Chicken patty was overcooked. Never saw a burnt one in a Restaurant or at least not served to someone. We wasn't drunk enough to enjoy the food. (I don't drink so... was not working for me ). The Coco Bread was good (probably because they didn't have to cook it). The worse part is we waited over an hour!!! Yes the Waiter was apologetic but it was NOT worth the wait. What a terrible representation of a business. I can't understand a bad night when this is what you do for a living. Just was not good. It's the worst restaurant I've been to. I do not recommend.

As I waited, I looked at the space I was in, which I'd been in before many times when it was Corks. Didn't seem like much had changed. There was a long wait for the food - so long, some rando checked on me. Another 20 mins after that I received the entree. Overall, it was pretty good but not what I thought it would be. The line was out the door--even with a reservation, we had to stand outside in the cold. And I'm anemic, so standing out there shivering felt like punishment (at this point, I'm basically an ice sculpture by the door). When we finally got seated, they put us at the table right by the entrance--every time that door opened, a breeze hit me like a slap from Elsa herself . The bar was packed too, which sucked because I would've loved to sit there with my partner and vibe. It was clear they were super short-staffed. No waitress ever came to our table--we had to scan a QR code, order through our phones, and even pay before the food came. Felt more like a fast-casual spot than a nice dinner date. Our drinks took forever and when they finally arrived, they were watered down and weak. By that point we were ready to go, but since we already paid through the mobile menu, we were stuck. It took about 45 more minutes to get our food. By now I couldn't even feel my fingers or toes. But when that food hit the table? Whewww... it slapped ‍ Everything we ordered was chef's kiss. My partner and I both agreed the food was the one saving grace of the entire experience. It was flavorful, fresh, and worth the hype. Just wish we could've actually enjoyed it. We spent a good amount of money and left feeling like we would've been better off just DoorDashing it and eating at home with some Netflix. My partner, who never complains, was genuinely upset about the lack of a server. And I get it--dining out is supposed to be an experience, not just a transaction. So overall... this is a mixed review. Food? 5 stars, no doubt. Experience? 1 star, and I'm being generous. I'll probably try them again on a super slow day (whenever that is), but as far as this visit goes, I'm leaving a 3-star rating--and that's only because the food was so good.
